Went to PetSmart for adoption event. We were interested in dogs, but they only had cats. Received lots of useful info on dog adoptions, but disappointed there were no dogs available.The store is spacious and nicely laid out. My daughter enjoyed looking at all the other pets - hamsters, lizards, fish etc. We also looked at the dog training area and watched a training session.

It’s always pleasant to go to my local Petsmart knowing I will be able to find what I’m looking for.

My 6-year-old dog and I have started the 6-week beginners course with Brian, and hes fantastic! Very down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and great with positive reinforcement techniques. He also speaks loudly and clearly, moves around the space, uses examples and demonstrates for more engagement. His curriculum seems solid and well-timed. The pup and I are greatly looking forward to the coming weeks!

We have taken our golden doodle to various local Grooming sites in the Bowie area. Our overall experience at PetSmart was by far the best!!! Their customer service was superior. Our Groomer, Tanisha, was phenomenal. She explained the plan for our doodles services for his first visit. She called to provide us with a status on when he would be ready and provided some feedback and consultation when we picked him up. Most importantly our pup appeared to be normal, happy and playful (as usual) after his visit! Thank you PetSmart!

Good service. Disappointed that food they listed online as being in the store wasnt and hard to find help. The cages and animals were clean. Store clean. Everyone was nice.

Nice store, clean and well kept but customer service is lacking big time. No one spoke to you or ask if you needed any help. Waited in line for a really long time. Cashier seemed very annoyed.

This is the best Petsmart Ive gone to in the area, all the way from Crofton to Dunkirk, I choose this location. Its clean and organized and has way more options and merchandise. Not to mention that the staff are so friendly and helpful and theyre always available and ready.

I bought fish here and they gave my whole community tank a terrible case of ich. Granted I should have put them into a quarantine tank before introducing them to my community tank & I didn’t and that was my fault. However I just went back (not for fish obviously lol) but while I was there I thought.. let me just take a look, DEAD FISH everywhere. They litter the bottom of nearly every tank (besides the ones that are totally empty, probably because all the fish died and have been removed already) I got to #25 with counting dead fish & I couldn’t take it anymore. If you are looking to start a new aquarium or add to your current one, I would suggest going elsewhere unfortunately.

Fantastic and friendly service! They squeezed my dog son in for grooming when there was a cancelation! I would have had to wait over 2 weeks to get scheduled in otherwise! These people are A1

I have been taking my pet to this salon for a few years and like the service. However, today I’m writing this review because I’m frustrated by the fact that they don’t call to remind the customer of their upcoming appointment! Yes, it’s also the customer’s responsibility to remember the appointment, but other salons and businesses typically make reminder calls. I called today to confirm my pets appointment only to be told that he was yesterday (I made it 7 weeks ago). This has happened to me a few times at this salon and when I call to reschedule the next appointment is at least 4 weeks out! I assume that maintaining repeat customers is not important! Oh well, I’ll be moving on in search of a new grooming salon!

Service is usually prompt and very friendly. This place seems a bit overpriced for pet care. Additionally they tend to air on the side of caution to the point that my dog has still not gotten the care that he needs and I have to go find a different provider potentially. This makes it very difficult for me to continue coming here.

If I could give this a negative 10 I would. I went into the store to get my son his first pet to be able to start to learn some responsibility and this immature girl that works there attempted to ruin my sons experience. First she said I could not buy the animal until I bought the appropriate items before my son could even pick one out, okay. We get everything we need then she comes back and says this one would work and start to get immature with the husband which know we have a damn problem. At this point we are done. Told me that I would not be able to prove for the animal, a small little hamster. I will never spend another dollar....

You have to seek out help when you need something. No one greets you.

The representatives did really well. Took time to explain the process and fees. In addition, they were super friendly. Thank you PetSmart. My pet and son very content with everything and myself as well.

Worst fish selection in the tri state area. Who is managing this place? No excuse for this bad a selection even in the pandemic. Fish are of poor quality as well.

This is my favorite PetSmart. They always have crickets for my bearded dragon and the staff is always kind.

I like coming here because Pet Smart has always had my pet food in stock in all varieties. Both wet and dry. My cats are the healthiest two cat going. And very spoiled as well.

If you love birds, ask when Mango will be there. Is a beautiful cockatoo that visit the store often. You will be able to see her and hold her. The staff are very friendly and always willing to help. Im pretty sure was Kevin the name of the employee who help me. Awesome guy.

Amazing staff and exhalent supplies

Be aware of the fish at this location!!! I bought 2 parrot cichlids and a black convict. Had to exchange after a week due to ich. Swapped out fish developed ich within 1 day and died. Now whole tank of 8yr old fish is infected.

This PetsMart is amazing. This is where I go to take my dog for her grooming. Whenever I call them, I am able to set a decent date and time with them to take my dog. Even thought the whole process is about 2.5 to 3 hours, I know that my dog is is good hands. Whenever she is ready, she comes out smelling good and looking good too with the correct type of haircut. All the staff members are welcoming, friendly, professional and nice. I would definitely recommend this is where to go to make sure your pet is in good hands when getting groomed.

Our vet, Dr. Rohan, and her team are amazing! They are very thorough, great bedside manner with my pet, solution oriented, and followed up with me about mine and my pets needs. The Banfield Hospital Bowie, MD location and the PetSmart Associates in the store are super friendly. Definitely worth the trip and I will definitely be back soon!

Friendly staff! I brought my dog in today to be groomed and although I had to wait a short while before I could leave her, it didnt bother me because the girls were busy. It wasnt due to lack of trying. In fact, the computer showed that my dogs rabies was expired, but in fact, I had just renewed her vaccination a couple of months ago, just previous to our most recent visit for grooming. The young lady asked for the number to my vet. She called and verified that my dog was indeed up-to-date on her shots. After that, it was cake. I came back a couple of hours later, after doing some shopping nearby, and my dog was fresh smelling, clean, and fluffy again. She even seemed to feel better for the rest of the day.

I have been using this location for years for grooming my boys. They always come back smelling fresh and clean with shorter nails. They fight me when i try to bathe them or clip nails. The groomers always tell me that they are well behaved for them. I wonder who they are really grooming!

I love PetSmart. Honestly, the best pet store ever. The prices are amazing. The membership program blows my mind and ACTUALLY benefits you immediately as well as in the ling run (not a lot of retail stores in general can say that). They send you coupons all the time, but ones that will actually help you out like random grooming salon coupons, free bags of food, great sales (got a reasonable fish tank for 10 dollars!), and much more. The people there are ALWAYS friendly and super helpful. The salon is spectacular; I find that the prices are reasonable. I dont know if this counts as a separate entity, but the Benfield Veterinary Clinic is PHENOMENAL. I could say more but I think it would be too much. Been going to them for 4 or 5 years now and I cant go anywhere else!

This Petsmart is close to me so therefore I shop there on a regular basis. All the employees along with the managers are very helpful and nice when I come in. Also, I am always asked if I found everything that I was looking for. It is always a pleasure to shop at this Outsmart.

The Bowie, MD Petsmart is the best Petsmart in PG County and quite possibly the best in the state of MD! The employees are very helpful and the store always has the items that my fur babies need!!! I dont go to any other Petsmart unless I absolutely have to! I love this store!😺😸😻😽!
