We hired The Cleaning Authority, last year, after moving into our newly renovated home. After a year of dynamic changes, we asked them back and established a schedule. The Team was professional and thorough; they cleaned beyond my standards, which are high. Like checking with the white gloves, high! 😄

I have been using CA for about 3 months now, I must say so far so good. My house looks great! If they have ever missed something point it out while they are here they will make sure to clean it. If not, the company will make amends by sending someone out the very next day. Customer service is A1. The ladies are nice and usually in/out in 2-3 hours depending on the service.

I requested a deep cleaning from this company. Unfortunately after going behind the cleaners there was areas not touch. I was very unhappy with the service. They also over charged me. I contacted the company via phone and email no response.

I never leave reviews but I believe this is necessary to help out my neighbors. I had my first clean with this company and you would think the first would be the best. I got the “Initial A” clean that was supposed to give a detailed clean to the kitchen and bathroom, and a general yet thorough clean to the bedrooms and living areas (initial b would be vice versa). At the end of it all, I was left with dirty kitchen counters, a dirty master bath floor, and the main floor looked liked nothing was done. I gave my feedback to their internal system and canceled my account. One of the owners, Laurel, answered the phone and handled my cancellation request and never asked why I was canceling or how my first clean was. She was concerned with ensuring I paid for my cleaning and then happily canceled and hung up the phone. Neighbors, don’t waste your time or money here as they are only concerned with making their money and not with providing a quality service.

This business is just okay. Two cleaners arrived to do a deep clean of the kitchen and the bathrooms. Im not sure what was meant by a deep clean when there were still black smudges around the door as you walk into the kitchen (well within reach and Im 54), the baseboards were not touched, the stove was not touched, and nothing in the refrigerator was touched. There were a few dishes in the sink, those dishes were not cleaned but left in the sink. And when I say a few, I mean 1 plate and 3-4 pieces of silverware and maybe 2-3 cups. There could have also been a random bowl. Nothing was super dirty since the items were just used that morning. No food was caked on any of the items, but those dishes were not cleaned. Im assuming by deep cleaning they meant the countertops were wiped and the floor was mopped? I couldnt tell and dont recall actually seeing the mopping taking place although I was in the room right next to the kitchen. The fridge was wiped down and the microwave was cleaned. Im baffled by what is meant by deep cleaning when the baseboards were not done and none of the appliances were cleaned inside and nothing was done to the cabinets. The bathrooms were cleaned fine but I dont recall that the floors were mopped or cleaned. I have hard wood floors and the floors were not cleaned in the family room. The cleaner suggested I check the bedroom after the upstairs was cleaned. I checked, and one of the book cases was full of dust on the top shelf. I can reach the top shelf without standing on my toes, and Im 54. To her credit, once I mentioned it, she did come back in to clean, but she used a dirty rag already used in other places in the house to clean the unclean shelf. I also noted that the other shelving wasnt really cleaned since I still noticed hair on various shelves. Then I noted that the carpet wasnt vacuumed sufficiently since there was still pieces of debris or paper on the floor not picked up by the vacuum. They did re-vacuum the carpet in one of the bedrooms. I hired this company so that I could not focus on the cleaning. But after having paid $180, I still as involved in the cleaning process despite the team sending over an inspector to review the work. I still had to walk thru and explain what had not been done correctly while Im trying to work remotely. I think my expectations are too high and so I am not using this company in the future. I will still continue to look and find a person or company who can meet my apparently high expectations.

Above impressive 👏 my home feels and smells like when I first moved in minus the empty space. All areas were thoroughly cleaned and attended to. They took care to get all the small usually missed places and even cleaned under and around the puppies cages. Im excited about the cleanliness of my kids bathroom awesome job. A++++ service.

I am an 81 year old man living alone with my 15 year old dog and have been using the Cleaning Authority house cleaning service for approximately four years. A crew of two or three members comes every two weeks. On each visit they do a very thorough and professional job, working very pleasantly and unobstrously around my dog and me.

I loved the first cleaning. They did an amazing job. When I emailed them over the pink Bowie mold not being cleaned from our shower the 2nd and 3rd visit they said they would work on it. Yesterday, the shower didnt even look like they even made an effort...even after my addressing the concern! My response from them was that is the best they could do without using bleach. It Seems odd they could clean well the first time bit not subsequent visits. Wish I would have read about their poor customer service. They must be busy enough not to have to worry about how to make a customer happy!.

Their teams are thorough and professional and the management did a great job working with me to fit my clean around my schedule and answer my questions. At first I didn’t know what to expect, I thought it would mostly just be vacuuming and dusting (I have trouble with those because if my health) and wiping down the bathrooms. But they removed the hard water stains from my bath tub that Ive never been able to put so much as a dent in, straightened up my somewhat cluttered areas and even did their best to at least reduce the mess in areas that I hadn’t expected them to touch because they were too full of clutter and left my whole house smelling wonderful. I will definitely continue their service!

We had used this company as our regular cleaning service a few years ago. Upon returning to the area, we requested a move in cleaning, with the hopes of establishing our twice a month service with them. The move in cleaning quality of work was atrocious. The main wood floors were still dirty, I wiped a white cloth on the floor near out kitchens counter island and it was black. I told them we had 3.5 baths, one bathroom was completely ignored while the other two still had mold on the tile and red bacteria on the shower heads (our tenants were disgusting people). The refrigerator was left untouched, when we called after we were told it was an extra charge...what exactly is entailed in a move in clean then? The window blinds were throughout the house were untouched. Basically, they did a cursory wipe down and left. We are not using them going forward and would advise other people in a similar situation to look elsewhere.

Weve used several cleaning services since we bought our home. The Cleaning Authority was able to get out old old stains and clean things no other company had even noticed. They keep my home with 3 messy boys wonderfully clean.

Used this company for our summer home last year. Did a nice job. This year rates way up. Came the first time for “ the deep cleaning”. Here one hour! Cleaning was marginal. Called voiced my concerns they listened and that’s it. Came two weeks later here 45 minutes. Same result called complained and asked for partial refund. No call back. We cancelled I feel like I threw $290 up in the air. By the wAy my house is 1900 square feet!!!! Still no call back Went to new service. Would NOT recommend.

Ive been through over a dozen cleaning companies who never met my standards. The Cleaning authority does. They are the first cleaners that I dont have to touch up when they are done. Ive recommended them to friends who all love them too. I plan on keeping them as my regular cleaning company forever. I have 2 large dogs, 5 bathrooms and a MESSY family and the house is white-glove spotless when they are done. They are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Management has been kind and understanding. We had our first cleaning the night before our 2nd there was serious damage due to a City problem. I emailed the office late, got a reply email and a call of understanding with a promise to reschedule. They later emailed with much-needed laundry tips to handle the City problems. We are in the early stages and hope the cleaning service works out as well as dealing with the management has been.

Very pleased with the initial cleaning. Staff put in a lot of hard work.

I decided to use The Cleaning Authority services after being referred by my mother. The cleaning was poor & after complaining, the owners customer service was poor, as well. The Initial complaint (sent on 9/11/14, the same day of the cleaning) described the following major issues(pictures were also attached for each issue):1) The ladies arrived to my house 45 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time and expected me to be home.2) The1st team did not clean anything for the first 20 minutes they were at my house.3) When one of the ladies came up to tell me that they were finished cleaning so that I could give her the check, the following issues were still present: The 3rd floor hall bathroom had not been touched at all; there was clearly visible gunk on the handle of the 3rd floor master bedroom shower; 4th floor shower had not been touched (the shower was not even wet- meaning no one had even turned the water on to clean the shower out)4) After noting the issues, they cleaned the 3rd floor bathroom, as well as the shower handle in the 3rd floor master bathroom. The 4th floor shower still was not cleaned even after noting it (I checked after they left to see if it was wet - and it was not).5) Additionally, there were items that I noticed after they left: An area behind the couch (which was accessible) was not vacuumed on my 1st level; the couches on the 1st &2nd floors were not vacuumed well; it is noted that the floor is supposed to be damp mopped(there was still something sticky that was obvious when I walked in the kitchen), bathroom baseboards were not cleaned (as stated), and the sinks were not clean under the surface area.I sent the issues above in an email and called. Since the house was not cleaned properly and 4 days passed before they could come back out, I cleaned the remaining areas since I had guests . I also requested a portion of my money back. The owner disregarded my response to her email, and did not respond. She also never called during the entire period.I paid for services not fully received, the owners are not responsive, and they have basically run off with my money ($162). This is theft and it is unethical.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service and average cleaning, at best. Most of the workers dont speak english, so you have to repeat where they didnt clean over and over. The office is horrible with communication; theyd rather send emails than talk with a customer directly. And if they feel your requests for using green cleaning products that you provide is just too much of an inconvenience, the company will increase your rate, or drop service to your home altogether. Good riddance. Not worth the effort to support a local company.

They always so an amazing job.

Theyre supposed to put the garbage in the garbage can. Ours are on the side of the house, and they constantly refuse to walk the extra 10 or 15 steps to place the bag in the can. They will leave it in front of the garage, or worse, theyll put it in the recycling bin (which is at the curb because they come on recycling day). They clean OK, sometimes great. One team is very good, my wife wanted them always but we never get them. Some teams will omit a room. I have called them more than once about the handling of the garbage, and have been assured it wont happen again. Im tired of calling them, maybe this will mean something.
