It was my first time going to Superior Cosmetic & Family Dentistry and I have to say that Dental Hygienist Maria and Dr. S were fabulous. Maria was very professional. She explained everything that she did to make me comfortable in which I was. Dr. S is a very dedicated Dentist and he takes great care of his patients. I am happy that I decided to use their family Dentistry today. I truly felt at home! Thanks again guys for all of your help. I will be coming back!

As a fairly new client to Superior, having on spent several minutes with the dentist, I wanted to wait before giving me initial review. So far it’s been good barring minor issues. My last appointment was a deep cleaning with dental hygienist Maria and she was great. From introduction to procedure explanation to checking in during the 2hr service to triple checking her work I was well taken care of. She warned me of the tentative after pain, of which I had minimal during & none the next day, due to bother my high pain tolerance and her care. She offered simple suggestions for post care, relief and electronic brush suggestions as I was in the market for a new one. Overall that appointment with Maria was great, she’s 5 stars for sure.

When I moved to the area I immediately wanted to find a good dentist. Something close to home but with really good people. Superior Cosmetic & Family Dentistry is it! The front desk is amazing and the facility is always clean! The Dentist team is great and very knowledgeable. I love this place!

This was my first time seeing Dr Ali , and I felt like I was their only patient. He was very informative, and helpful. He took time to go over my entire treatment plan. I need to have implants and after seeing Dr Ali I am confident this is where I am going to get them. The office was clean and followed Covid policies. They did temperature checks and proper screening. The staff were kind and friendly.

Two excellent dentist comprise this practice as well as a fine dental hygienist. Office and staff are well prepared for COVID-19. The practice is well named - Superior! Highly recommended.

I appreciate this office because I had questions regarding some dental work that I needed and wanted to fully understand my options. Dr S returned my call and explained everything to me. He has great bedside manners which is truly lacking in so much of the medical profession today. A lot of doctors are downright dismissive and if you have too many issues wrong they will imply that you need psychiatric care. Dr S appears to not be that type. Great doctor.

This office is run by a family. Even if not directly related to each other, they act like family. The dental hygienist are great and put you at ease. This if a good practice. They are super diligent with the Covid-19 restrictions as well. I recommend them.

For years as my smile deteriorated, it weighed heavily on my self-esteem and confidence. People treated me with disdain, as though I was dirty and an unintelligent person. The efficiency of this office was amazing. The technology used to do my initial dental visit was very impressive. Having the ability to fill out the initial vist paperwork through an app was great. Communicating by text to enter the facility to ensure patient safety due to Covid19 was excellent. Again the technology used in the office was extremely impressive. This practice is fantastic. The reception was excellent and the office is very clean. You can tell they take pride in keeping their office sanitized and providing the best care to their patients. The practice has taken great measures to minimize potential exposure to COVID-19. Now Dr. Shatergholi and his dental staff were an absolute breath of fresh air. They were very attentive to my concerns, but more importantly his assessment and plan demonstrate superior dentistry.

The first couple of times I visited this practice, I saw Dr. Melika. She was great, personable, and took the time with her exam. The last four visits were with Dr. Ali. I felt like I was interrupting something more important. This most recent visit, if he spent a total of three minutes in the room, that would have been lengthy. He certainly didnt check my teeth thoroughly, and trusted that the tech did his job well. And while Dino did do a great job, hes not the dentist--Ill be taking my business elsewhere in the future, with an attentive dentist.ETA: its so surprising to me that the practice would respond the way that it did below, and the email response I got was far less polite. Whatever happened to Im sorry you werent satisfied; how can we do better next time?

A professional and courteous atmosphere with competence and skill as primary factors - everyone is friendly and engages every effort to reduce anxiety - really, who ever wants to go to a dentist? - however, if you have to attend to a dentist then this is the office to you should try - in my 70 years I have never encountered a dentist that I did not mind to be present for an appointment, until I started going to Dr Shatergholis office - I even sent a friend there who returned with a similar sense of appreciation - thank you - v/r...

Every visit that I have at this office is always a wonderful experience (from being properly greeted by staff to getting serviced right away when coming in). Everyone is knowledgeable and the office is clean (which is always a plus for me)! Any questions that I have are also always answered during my visits.

Ive never cared for the dentist before but I honestly dont mind coming to this office because they care and make the experience much more enjoyable. They also dont try to upsell you on something that doesnt need to be done. Ive been coming here for over 3 years and havent had a bad visit yet.

From the moment I stepped foot in the office, I could tell that it was going to be a good experience! The ladies in the office were not only helpful and efficient, but personable too. During the appointment, the dentists were all very attentive and caring, constantly making sure that I was comfortable with the procedures. They also squeezed my mom in for a quick consultation about a tooth that was bothering her, free of charge! Very exceptional, personalized service.

During this pandemic Dr. Shatergholi and his staff continue to work serving their patients with kindness, care, and thoughtfulness. I have always been nervous at the dentist since a bad experience as a child. Having a dentist back then that worked out of his trailer and didnt do good work has made it difficult for me to even trust a dentist. I grew up with another dentist that was okay, but I never felt comfortable. When I went to Dr. Shatergholi, however, I let him know how nervous I was. He was understanding and did everything he could to make me feel at ease. Over time, I learned to trust him and I knew everything he did was needed and he always assured me through it all that I would be fine. Previous root canals were disastrous for me, but when I had one done in Shatergholis office -it was a completely different experience. I was scared, but Dr. Shatergholi took his time to reassure me again I would be fine and would not feel a thing. He promised me it would be okay this time. He even said he would be around if anything happened, so I didnt need to worry. (a lady did the root canal). Turns out he was right, I didnt feel a thing, and was able to relax a little during the procedure. Now there is CoVid 19. I was due in March for cleaning, but didnt go. Then in July I started getting pain in my front tooth. I didnt want to go to the dentist, didnt want to risk getting the virus. But I had no choice -instead of going to a dentist near by, I chose to go 45 minutes to Dr. Shatergholi. He said I needed a crown. He assured me I would be okay and that I should have it done now - rather than later. His office was taking all the precautions to keep their patients and themselves safe. So, because I trusted him, I swallowed my fear of the virus, and got prepped for the crown. Dr. Shatergholi and his entire staff were so kind and caring and professional, but also friendly so that I felt comfortable being in a dentist office even though I know CoVid 19 is out there. Several weeks later the day came for me to go get my crown. Wouldnt you know there would be a hurricane warning and the dentist office would be closed. I called the next day to reschedule and was pleasantly surprised to find that I could go in the next day to get my crown and cleaning done. I hung up and then started second guessing myself - did she really say Thursday - as in tomorrow? I thought I wouldnt get in for another week or two. I called Melissa back to confirm. I didnt want to drive an hour and find out I misunderstood the day and be sent home without a crown. Melissa was pleasant about the whole thing, reassured me of the date and did not make me feel dumb or stupid for calling back when in fact she had just told me it was for Thursday. I was impressed that she remained pleasant and helpful after just telling me the date and time. I appreciated that she was so nice on the phone. Dino is also super nice. He knows I am nervous coming to the dentist, and he too, assures me that I will be fine and that if anything hurts, he will stop cleaning my teeth. He is very gentle and does his job efficiently, often asking if I am okay. Amber who helps with spraying water, air or assisting the dentist with whatever is needed is also kind and makes sure I am comfortable during any procedure. She is calm and reassuring and makes you feel relaxed -andtells you before she does anything. She took the temporary crown off today and cleaned it up and was very gentle before the dentist put on the real crown. Dr. Shatergholi adjusted the crown to make it work and my visit to the dentist was done. I cannot stress enough how wonderful a staff Dr. Shatergholi has - each one of them risking their life every day for patients like me who needed a procedure done to avoid future complications. They do their job while wearing protective gear and face masks and yet they do not hide their compassion, their patience, their kindness, their respect and their passion for helping others during CoVid 19. Phenomenal Dentist! Dr. S. And his assistant Rosy team work! In love with my crowns! Even my babies go there too! Office very neat and clean! And front desk, she’s Amazing very professional!

Dr. Melika + her staff, literally told my mother that they would NOT give her dental clearance for her already scheduled TKR in the rudest and most condescending way. Simply bc she needs a deep cleaning and has to pay $1200 for it. Otherwise it was risk for infection. I respect her medical perspective and concern regarding infection risk, but there was absolutely NO need for her or her staff to be condescending to my poor mother who doesn’t have the voice to speak up for herself. I highly advise you find another dentist. Unless ofc you have the money, then perhaps they will respect you more. And if you must schedule with her, do not fear being your own advocate and do not be afraid to ask questions regarding hiked prices for NECESSARY procedures. She said this was a discounted price and I find that incredibly hard to believe. As I was able to, easily with some research, find a very capable and positively reviewed dentist charging HALF the price with nearly double the experience. A tip for her staff and her self, if you wish to inform and educate patients about your prices, it can be done respectfully without making someone feel less of a human being. Fix your tactics and approach in talking to patients of all socioeconomic backgrounds. If you wish to treat medicine purely as a business, then fulfill it thoroughly and follow the policy of respecting your customers.

The entire staff is friendly and efficient. The office is clean and the waiting area is nice. The assistant is helpful and clear with suggestions and the communication with the doctor is performed in the same room so there are no secrets regarding your health. They recognize you at the door and check you in quickly.

The office staff is very professional. Dr. Melika and Dr. Ali are very professional and up to date on the latest techniques. They take their time to discuss dental health and what you should be doing to maintain your teeth and prevent future procedures. Im always seen on time and there is very little wait time, if any. I’ve been a patient here for a few years now and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I love my dentist. Before I found Superior Cosmetics & Family Dentistry, I had some good and bad experiences with dentists. Some dentists were “good” but performed so much work on my teeth that they actually caused more damage than good. Others were just simply horrible. Everyone at Dr. Shatergholi’s practice is so kind. Starting with Heidi. Oh Heidi!!! She’s is soooo patient  I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to getting work done on my teeth and have TONS of questions. Not once in the years I’ve been going to this dentist, have I ever felt like I was annoying or overwhelming. Heidi takes her time to explain insurance information to me and always does so with a smile. That means so much to me! She is simply awesome! You’re the first person we talk to when we call, first person we see when we come in and last person we see before we leave and without your pleasant attitude, I wouldn’t have even given this office a chance.
