I will never rent a car with Budget Again !!!! We Booked online and paid in advance with their partner priceline , the day we went to get the car Budget agent said we cant rent the car coz there is an age limit, she gave me a number to call to cancel the reservation, We cancelled the reservation on that day, but still they charge my credit card $ 364 . When I went back to complain about the charge, Budget agent said reservation # does not exist on their system, she gave me a paper with the number to call.

STOP LETTING PEOPLE MAKE RESERVATIONS IF YOU HAVE NO CARS AVAILABLE. The young man behind the counter was nice but the business itself is TRASH. Don’t waste your time or money renting from this place

I usually have no problems with Budget. However, at this location I had a really bad experience. I arrive to the Bowie location on June 11 at 1pm and they upgraded me to a truck which was fine. However, I get in the vehicle and It had wipes, socks, candy wrappers all in the car. So, it was obvious it was not cleaned before I received it. I get home and the truck then says Oil Maintenance Required. I then call the customer service line and they told me I either go to the airport for an exchange or use MY OWN MONEY to fix the issue. So unprofessional. I decided to use the airport option and exchange the vehicle which was around 8:30pm, mind you I had a trip to be prepared for the next morning. Then, another red flag because I had to go from my house to DCA to swap out the car, I was charged $29.20 for not bringing the vehicle on full. Unbelievable, how am I being charged for something thats not my fault. If they did their job fixing the oil from the beginning, I wouldnt have had to use the gas to get to the airport for the exchange. Never again will I come back to this location, so unprofessional.

2nd worse experience with Budget! David the cashier there is utterly unprofessional, rude and obnoxious. Stated he didnt care if complaint was placed. After informing me a $250 deposit was required despite me being told different via phone where I paid for the rental initially. I was STILL denied a rental on a soft credit check and my score is 600! Also following my departure, David decided 2 call md police. After I explained the circumstance 2 them they told me no worries and urged me to write a complaint! THANKS BUDGET

The customer service at Bowie Md Evergreen Drive location is AMAZING. The young lady in charge is efficient and very professional. I live down the street from the Lanham Location but I will drive the extra 15 minutes to go to the Bowie Location because there is never any delay and the customer service is outstanding. I am a FASTBREAK member and have been with Budget for over 40 years and I know a good deal when I see it and the Bowie location is a Great Deal!!!

I dont think I have ever given a rental company 5 stars but this location was great. The fuel pump went out on a rental that I had picked up from a different location. I was able to get the car here and they switched it out for me and upgraded the car. Great customer service

I rented a standard SUV; expecting a clean, serviceable vehicle- what I got was something that would look more comfortable in a 3rd world environment. There were scratches, paint smears, dents and missing panels; the interior was dirty, the windows smeared, dog hair and detritus were all over the carpets and seats and the smell of dog permeated the interior. I ran the car through a wash and detailed it myself. The sales associate, Shondra, was very nice and admitted that she did not have the tools or equipment to clean the car properly but it was still disappointing to have to do it myself because I cannot abide a nasty car. Seemed a bit high in pricing considering, but the car itself ran well and we were able to get down to FL and back with no other issues. Based on that, and the lack of availability of alternatives (and the sales associates lack of incentive to help us find one- she said we could call around on or own if we felt like it but she couldnt do much because wed prepaid our rental- which I will also never do again) I sincerely doubt Ill ever use Budget again. Ill just make sure to plan out road trips further in advance so I can use my preferred rental agency to see to our needs. Overall, we found the service and availability to be sub par considering the price we paid.

The clerks at the Bowie location are always so pleasant. This time around the guy really made my day when he recognized that even though I was sitting that I was next. The store was crowded but he knew I was nextI have returned several times and there is a new hero in the midst. her name is Sandra. go in and ask for her. she is so pleasant and assist with a smile. hooray for Budget of Bowie

DO! not rent from budget there is a disconnect between the operator and store location, they tell you when cars is available when its not, and have you take a blank trip to pick a car that is not available. Their service IS HORRIBLE and they are not kind. They also have you waiting for a long time for no reason and then you dont have your car. I Recommend HERTZ, they are so much better. I recommend no one goes to Budget car Rental

The customer service is great and they dont hassle you with stacks of ID requirements each time you come to pick up the rented vehicle. The prices are reasonable too and love the discounts and specials always given!

I have used this location to rent cars several times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They make the process easy and quick. Their hours are much better than other rental locations so that makes it extremely convenient. I will definitely use this location again.

The Budget staff were very professional and courteous! The staff answered my questions and were responsive when I called their office.

When I pick up the car I didnt check the inside of the car. The next morning when I was going to work I start looking around the car there was tresh all in the back seat. The Gas tank was missing a cap SMH. I called and complain and when I drop the car and trying to explain about my experience she look at me like she wasnt interested or I was making it up. NEVER AGAIN

Ive been renting a car from enterprise all week. Great service there. But today I was in a pinch. I booked online with budget, payed uber to take me to them just to be told I dont have the credit to be given a car. My alternative was to use a major credit card, which I dont use, which is why I dont have much credit. So now Im stranded, with money to rent a car but budget refuses to rent me one. I even showed the guy my bank statement, plenty of cash there. Would have been nice to have been told this before I wasted time and money coming to pick up my reserved rental

First car pick up had a flat and employee wait h cars with no problem. Quick and expedited service.
