Our tech was very knowledgeable and efficient. We were more than thrilled that he had the part with him in the van. Thought for sure a part would have to be ordered and wed be without a fridge for a while. He had it fixed within two hours! I also wish, like other reviewers, that a better timeframe could be given when the appt is scheduled. Like, at least, morning or afternoon. Very inconvenient for working people.

I had simply rescheduled my appliance repair appointment form 9/29/2020 to the next day 9/30/2020 as I could only take off work that day. I have several confirmations via text etc. of my apt. 9/30. The time window was 8am to 5pm which was fine but since I hadnt heard anything, I called the 800# for the repair dept. at 4:10pm and was told that they do not see that the technician has updated anything but that he should still be coming out soon. I was signed up for updates of course as well and had not been updated about anything. I called again about 4:45pm 9/30 and was told the same thing and this time I simply asked if they could reach out to the tech to just find out something. I was told that they do not know how, so I asked for a Supervisor. I was transferred to Michelle and she put me on hold for awhile which was fine but then just came back saying that it looked like the tech had not shown up for work because he had not updated anything the entire day. She couldnt elaborate further into any detail. I asked why I was not contacted though if someone knew he didnt show up, and she became out of control, and then hung up the phone. I then called back to see if I could speak to someone else and they said that they do not have management etc. and that I could only set up a new apt. I was told though that this could only be done by calling back first thing in the morning because the apt. is not showing closed out in the system due to the no show of the tech. This was now about 6pm. I really needed to see how soon I could have someone out for my washing machine and around 7:30pm I was able to reply C, per one of the confirmations of this apt. on my cell to cancel it out. I have proof and can attach a pic of this on my phone. I also have no cancellation confirmation provided to me if it had been cancelled at an earlier time of the day. Yet this is what now is their story. At 7:30pm when I did this, it then allowed me to see that the next available was not until 10/6. This was almost one week later and really needed the repair. I had tried to reschedule it as well prior to replying C to cancel as the text said, and it seemed constant with what I was told that the no show apt. was still in the system, not allowing reschedule dates to show. I then try to contact sears and they sound like they are so poorly trained and unprofessional that it is ridiculous. I am told things ranging from the appointment was cancelled, and this is all that they can understand from the above as their take away from the issue lol. leaving out the entire concern of why a technician had not shown, why Supervisor Michelle sounded nuts along with her finding out that he did not show up for work, as well as being told by someone good luck filing a complaint because the appointment is showing cancelled. I have proof that I cancelled it on my end hours after the no show from the tech. The BBB says on their site to please try to contact Sears prior to filing a complaint, yet they have unstable poorly trained personnel and obviously no management. The many supervisors in the so called repair dept. are clearly not serving a professional purpose. I am only told that I can reschedule but I lost a full day of wages from my job 9/30 for nothing and not one person even extends a courtesy off of the next apt. diagnostic fee since the no show, of the tech is not my fault. Its creepy because it seems like they do not have the mental capacity to even be concerned in the slightest. I had people struggling to even take the basic details of what had transpired. More than one person sounded mentally incapacitated and was even talking and then simply stopped, never to ever begin again. I would say hello, and they just left the call. The only call I received yesterday was from someone named Charlene and she was rambling uncontrollably about it having been cancelled. Honestly stay away from Sears! I would not even be able to know if they would show up, if I had a new appointment. They do not know how to communicate professionally. Crazy! Waste of time!

I wish there was a way that you could narrow down the time period that someone would be here. Not just ANY time between 8am and 6 pm. At least narrow it down to one half of the day! Or, let people set up an approx. appt. time, give or take a half hour! It was for a water heater maintenance check up that only took 5 minutes, but had to wait around all day, and he eventually showed up about 6:30 PM!!!!

The service was very good. The serviceman was courteous and worked hard to keep things clean. My one complaint was that it was 5 days between the first visit and the second one; the service system seems to be a bit rocky

I had a repair call on my dishwasher and stove on 2 different days. The repair person was so great, She let me know when she was coming and answered my questions without hesitation. She was wonderful and completed the job excellent. Made me feel like a important person. I thank you for Lisa.

Excellent local presence but horrible phone service.Whenever they do send a tech out typically the techs are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would rate their local service at 6 stars.The call center you call into is horrible. I could have fixed my mower faster than it took to get someone scheduled. I have racked up quite a few hours on the phone.It took more than 2 months and 6 visits to proper fix the mower. Multiple visits were cancelled and rescheduled due to missing parts., did they send a tech out.Only after I requested they supply a check for a replacement mower due to the fact that it had been broken over 60 days

The repair man and the service was great. The wait to get an appointment was unreasonable. We had to have our washer fixed and the soonest we could get an appointment was 3 weeks. Doing my laundry at the laundry mat is the reason why I have a personal washer at my house. On top of the money I pay for a service plan I have to add $45 for the cost of doing laundry elsewhere. Not happy.

Called for repair of washing machine. We have had 3 visits so far and still not fixed!! First visit- inspection, drum would not spin, ordered part- $279Second visit- installed motor control board and used once same evening and washer locked up, clothes held hostageThird visit- tech says washer wont work because we use too much non-HE liquid detergent that he saw on top of machine. Told him I dont use liquid detergent in washer and that was just for spot stain removal. Explained that I use Tide HE pod only and he said that was TOO much. He says it causes too many suds. There are no suds in washer, no film or residue. We asked how he determined this and he couldnt really come up with an answer. He said he fixed it and ran several cycles without incident. Didnt tell us what he did to fix it. So we tried a load the next day, guess what??? It still doesnt work, now has error code F06, wont finish load, blinks, beeps! We called again and are now waiting for our 4th visit!!! This is ridiculous. Phone customer service is terrible!! Very difficult to understand them, they know very little English and dont understand us. My husband called this number you sent us to see how our service went and he explained our situation and that the repair did not work and the rep said, Oh good, Im glad we can help, you have appt on the 11th, have a nice day and hung up. He called again, same rep and he told her, you are not listening to what I am saying, it was NOT fixed, I am NOT satisfied and it was like she had no idea what he just said and said the same reply as before!! This is so frustrating!!! Extended Wait time for repair, poor customer phone service due to limited English speaking skills, multiple visits with no resolution!! What has happened to Sears and customer service???? 1st and 2nd visit tech very nice, 3rd visit tech, nice, but you could tell he didnt have the slightest idea what was wrong and was making things up as he went along-story changed multiple times! I kind of felt sorry for him, you could tell he was extremely nervous.

I am not a happy customer at this time with Sears. In mid June l had Sears come see my Dehumifer that was not working correctly and the maintenance man ordered about five parts for it. So the parts came in and they came to fix it last week and in the process the man stopped working on it and said he couldnt work on it anymore because it was a recall product. I asked him when it was recalled if the other maintenance man had ordered the parts. He said it may had just been in the last few days. I was not happy and l told him l was going to research and call Sears back. Well come to find out this product was recalled back in 2012 due to fire hazard. I bought his from Sears and they have been providing service on it and just last year they ordered some parts for it. I feel Sears should have known all this and replaced this this Dehumifer at the time that it was recalled, especially since its been on our maintenance agreement since purchased. Well l am still battling with Sears, but nobody is listening. Its been a nightmare for us. Then in the process l call the number the maintenance man gave me and it is the recall center and they only want to give me $100.00 for the Dehumifer and $25.00 gift card from Sears, but l told no thanks l want a replacement because that will not buy me a new Dehumifer. They said l would have take it up with Sears and that is what l have been trying to do, but l keep getting passed around on the phone. I spent at least 5 hours on the phone with this issue with no results. I have had my maintenance agreement for at least 20 years and l hardly use it and everytime l do have to use it there is a problem, but Sears has no problem taking my money/ payment every year. I would like a call back from someone that can help resolve this issue.But this is not the only problem l have had with Sears in the last month. My central air has also been acting up.so l had them come service in the beginning of June. Then they had to order some parts which they siad they had and rescheduled an appointment for the following week. We waited all day for the Sears person because they kept changing the time of arrival on us. Then at 5 pm the maintenance man calls and says,oh l dont have the parts so l cant service the central air. The parts are on back order, but in the meantime l had placed at least 5 calls to Sears to make sure they were still coming. Then they said the parts were on back order till the 23rd of June, but they didnt even arrive so l called again.It seem that Sears people are not communicating. After this whole ordeal l get a call from Sears the next day and l think a lady named Martha and she said they had the parts local after they said they were on back order. So she makes an appointment for us for the 29 of June and l asked to please make sure that they had the parts. Well they gave use the appointment between 8 and 11, then changed it to 11 to 1, then they did not arrive, but at 1:45 a message comes up on my computer that my tech has arrived. So l call Sears because there is no tech at my house, so they said to wait till 2 . Well it was 4 and no tech arrived and they tell me my appointment was cancelled and asked why and who cancelled, but no one had any answers. I talked to many people at Sears that day and l was no happy. Nobody had answers and nobody even called to say the appointment was cancelled. They said they would have the tech guy call me which he never did. The next l called for answers, but had no luck. They just rescheduled my appointment for today, but already its not going good. The tech called about half an hour ago and he was coming to check my central air and l said no not to check to fix it. He oh, lll call you later then. Nothing yet. Not good. It stinks that they do not give you a specific time they will be there. My husband had to take the whole day off of work and they didnt come until 2. Maybe Saturday repair could be an option?
