Ive rented from the Diamond Rental in Bountiful a few times, and theyve always been great. They are consistently about 30-40% cheaper than Home Depot, and they take good care of their equipment. One thing I really appreciate since I dont have a truck: a lot of their medium sized machinery like trenchers are loaded on trailers (no extra charge for the trailer). It makes it very convenient.

Quick and easy access to a chainsaw. Tree fell in the night on my driveway and I was unable to get my saw to start. Very expensive so Im not sure I will rent again from Diamond but the guys who helped me were great.

The equipment we rented was delivered early, so no worries about being able to start on time. Picked up exactly as scheduled, and worked perfectly. Communication was seamless, start to finish. Absolutely no hitches or problems. I would definitely rent from them again.

They didnt have the machine in Kaysville so I had to travel to Bountiful. They didnt let me know I needed a 3/4 ton truck, so I wasted a trip there on Friday night and had to come back Saturday morning. FYI - Ive used my 1/2 ton to haul the machine before from the Kaysville store.I lost at least 30 min transporting the machine, and they close earlier on Saturday (4pm), so I definitely did not get a full day of rent.The right track on the Cat 304CR was quite sticky. I needed to put it full on to keep up at all with the left track.Pressed for time I didnt remember to fill the tank. 4 1/2 gallons. I figured they would be fair with the fuel so I let them cover it. BUT $6.00 per gallon? Really?Ive rented a ton of stuff from Diamond, but this was by far the worst experience Ive had.

I usually go to Diamond Rental on Whitney Avenue in Salt Lake they didnt have what I needed John got me hooked up with the Bountiful location and a part from his location and I was able to complete the job in a timely fashion with good working equipment and returned to one location

Good equipment, but too expensive. Also did not disclose non- refundable damage waiver in price. If I didnt damage the equipment, I should get it back.

Ive rented equipment here a few times and have good experience for the overall. My last experience was a little frustrating as the equipment I rented would not stay running but the company made it right and got me a new piece of equipment to finish my with. Will be back again

It worked, but I had issues. I rented a lawn thatcher, or power rake. The first one ran for three passes across the lawn, then stopped running. I restarted it and it ran a few seconds and died again. I cheched switches, gas level, carburetor settings, etc, and tried once more. Ran a few seconds and died. I took it back and got a different one. It ran fine, but halfway through the lawn its drive belt broke. So I took it back. I was told the first one had run for 45 minutes after I returned it, so I decided to try it again. On the lawn, it wouldnt start at all. On a whim, I turned it around to face the other way. It started right up and ran fine - until I turned it back to face the first way. It died immediately. My lawn is gently sloped. The thatcher ran fine leaning to the right but not to the left. So I finished the lawn by raking forward and pulling it backward, without raking, to the other side again. When I returned it, I was told it had an oil level sensor that shuts off the engine when the oil is low. Wish Id known that 3 hours before! Im guessing the oil was a little low and the sensor is on the right side of the engine so a tilt to the left turned it off. A hassle but I got the job done.

Rented a hole auger and it was a smooth experience. Emailed contract/receipts, service interactions, and a functioning rental. What more can you ask for?! Been using them for a while and have not been disappointed.Just before the time to pick up the hole auger, I got a call to inform me it was not returned yet from previous renter. Instead of an excuse, they already called another location and set up a pick up for me and let me return that one at their location. I will continue to do business with them because they make it too easy and a great price!

After calling and waiting on hold way too long at each of two other rental centers, I got right into Chris at Diamond Rental. He had me all set up with the equipment I needed and it was ready and delivered to my car within 20 minutes!!The tools were perfect and made the job a breeze. 😃

Being inexperienced, I ordered the wrong piece of equipment for the job and had to switch to something else. They went above and beyond. I had issues figuring out how the pressure washer works, so on of them drove to my house to help me get it going. Then they provided an extension free of charge on the rental. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Rented a landscape tractor for the day. Everything ran and operated well. Fuel efficiency was great. Service was good. Really appreciated not having to wash down the tractor before returning it. Nice to be taken care of that way. I will definitely rent from them again

I have used Diamond rental a few times for various projects. The Bountiful location has always been great to work with. The most recent rental was for a Concrete saw. The saw ran great and functioned well. I would highly recommend Diamond Rental.

The equipment we had to rent was reasonably priced. And the sales associates we worked with where professional. The gentleman that showed us how to use the sod remover gave us good instructions on how to run it.

Ive always had great service from these guys. Sometimes it seems pricy, but its competitive with other businesses, and the equipment is well maintained. Theyre good about working with you. The professionalism of a big organization with the feel of a local business.

My only question is why the envoronmental fee?Where does that come from in that there was nothing to didpose of.

I keep trying to give these people a chance but every time they’re difficult to work with. The one gentleman at this particular location he’s slow moving and he’s angry and anti-customer service. I just can’t help walking away feeling like you’re bothered them.

They were friendly when we picked up. We had to extend for an hour because it took us an hour to figure out the boom lift thingy 🙃 they were so nice to not charge us the extra hour. We will definitely be bringing our service needs here again.

Rented a walk behind thencher. It was available and clean when I picked it up. Tech showed me how to use it. Got it home and made a miscalculation and locked up the hydraulics. (totally my fault) Josh and his very capable mechanic came to my house and got it back in running condition. He let me keep the unit past my allotted time in order to finish the job. I always find this places a bit condescending by nature. They are really for people who know what they are doing for the moment they walk in, other than that, they were nice and efficient, reasonably price and responsible.

After renting two broken welders from a different company I finally went to diamond rental. Their machine worked perfectly and their prices were lower. Wish I had gone there in the first place. I have used the bountiful location quite a few times. The equipment is reliable, and the customer service is great. As with any rental company always plan ahead. There was a costumer in line in front of me who was upset with them. He didn’t reserve a machine ahead of time and expected them to just make it work. RESERVE AHEAD OF TIME!!!!!! Make it easier for them to give you the wonderful service they always give me!

Great service. I rented a sod cutter from them. The throttle cable actually snapped while I was using it, and I took it back and they switched it out for a new one, no questions asked. In addition, they only charged me for a half day because of the lost time. Would recommend.

Diamond did a great job! They were very professional. The only improvement I would suggest is to have the person at the cash register mention there is a different kind of gas to put in the chainsaw. I didn’t know that until the worker was putting the chainsaw in my car. It would have been helpful to know it earlier than that.

What a train wreck. I reserved a diamond grinder via their convenient text service. After a rough start in describing my needs and long wait times for responses, I finally reserved my 24” grinder to be picked up in Bountiful. Once it got there with the understanding that I was to get a trailer to be able to tow it back to the project, they told me they didn’t have it and only had the 10” grinder and no trailer. Unbelievable! I was just told they had it and I had it reserved! They charged me the same amount for the small grinder as the large one too!. What? Come on! Luckily, they actually helped me load it, but then I had to buy their tie-downs since I was expecting a trailer for the larger grinder. Insult to injury! Upon returning when I asked about the overall situation and what they could do, they offered to throw in the tie-downs. The extra time on the job cost my hundreds and they offer $20 in tie-downs. Ugh! Buyer beware. They won’t take care of you. Even when the manager gets involved. My company won’t be back to the Bountiful location!!

I did a major yard project and rented three different machines at diamond rental. They were easy to work with and the equipment ran without issue. Just a heads up, there are a few charges and fees that are in addition to the stated rental price, but they go over this in detail before you pay. I have gone to a few other places, I keep coming back to diamond rental.

The machine and trailer worked great!My only gripe was that there was no communication regarding the fact I had to refuel my dingo upon return. Couldn’t see it in the contract or find info online. Cost me an extra $10 compared to filling it up myself. Thankfully it wasn’t a ton of gas, but I would have liked to know.

Trencher pulled hard to the left making it hard to keep a straight line. Also had to walk through the whole shop to find someone to return my rental.

I was pleased with the 18 inch stihl chainsaw being there because I called in advance and reserved it. I was there with another customer that was also getting a chain saw. while there I saw that the person needed some coaching on the use of the chain saw as well as the information about how to keep the tree healthy that he was cutting. the cashier should have done this as a cross sale of gas and chainsaw bar oil. I used the chain saw for almost 2 hours. I got my project done but let the cashier know that the case on the chainsaw didnt allow it to be properly started. so, the mechanic came over and we discovered that I was completely correct. I was happy that they listened as well as didnt act as if myself being a woman. also knew the abilities of the chainsaw. the cashier said he would contact the manufacturer to which it needs adjustment on the machine not call the manufacturer. have a great day.
