Purchased a set of custom motorcycle earplugs from the NYC motorcycle show a few years ago. Those plugs stopped working with no sound coming out. I reached out to EAR and they told me I was better off ordering a new set as the new plugs would sound better. I specifically explained over the phone what I use them for.They charged me over 300 bucks and what I got back was not what I expected. They looked nothing like my original plugs which they had so no excuse. They were big blocks they would not fit under a motorcycle helmet. After not being able to where them do to pain and discomfort I called and they told me to send them back. It took a very long time over a month to get a new set back to me. I tried them again but it was impossible to wear for more than an hour because the plastic wire protecter stuck straight back instead of straight down so the wire is against the fleshy part of your ear lobe. Also the speakers were not for music . This is something an audiologist should know. So I sent them back again. This time they want to charge me to fix their obvious mistake.Well I felt the need to cut my losses and find a true Audiologist to work with. This company has been a non stop hassle to work with.Stay away if you ride the last thing you need is a bad product distracting you.Response: you just proved my point . You made the EAR Plugs in a way that makes them unbearable to use and now you want me to pay to fix your mistake. The entire time I had them they were impossible to use and they were going back and forth to your shop. You refuse to fix a mistake unless I pay even more. That’s bad customer service and I hope everybody avoids you.

Excellent experience from emailing with reception to set up appointment to actually coming in to have plugs made. Super friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. This is my second pair [first I lost after 13 amazing years] and wouldnt consider any other kind👍

This used to be a fantastic company. I got my first pair of custom-molded earphones from them back in 2007. They were great: comfortable enough to wear all day long, and decent sound. But like all things, they didnt last forever. When one of the drivers broke (my fault -- snagged the cable on something and tore the driver out), I ordered a replacement pair last year.Thats when the problems began. The new ones didnt fit very well, and they didnt work with my cell phone. I sent them back. After a month I got the replacements, which fit well enough and worked, though the cable looked pretty cheap -- a lot flimsier than my old pair.Indeed it was. A year later, the insulation on the cable was brittle and had cracked in a couple places. I called and asked about the warrantee. They said that because of my initial problems, they would still honor it. Great! So I sent them in. After receiving my earphones, they called me back and told me that they had made a mistake and would not honor the warrantee. (To be clear: the damage was due to the low quality of the cable, which had cracked insulation in multiple places. It was not due to any abuse on my part.) The cost to solder on a new cable -- presumably of the same low quality as the last -- would be $70.Forget that. I saw no point in throwing good money after bad. Im now shopping for another brand.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! I have a set that I have sent back many times and they will not work. They keep saying it is a problem with wax and I have cleaned my ears every time but they work for about 1 hour. I can not believe some has designed something that is not cleanable by the user as we all have wax in our ears.
