John was awesome! He was very responsive on text messages to setup a time to diagnose the problem. The dishwasher was doing something odd, so we werent able to fix it, but that is the key! He recommended work to be done and didnt try to fix issues that were not the problem. I will use him again on any appliance issues.

Has done several appliance repairs for us. Honest, dependable, excellent communications and gets it fixed the first time. Plus reasonable prices. Not a huge chain, (just John) and so you get the same level of service every time.

I wish I could say John was a superhero. I wish he had swooped in with his mask and cape and saved us all by carrying my burning fridge and tossing it into the Pacific. Actually, that would be littering (drop it at Eco-Cycle instead). Unfortunately, none of this happened. What actually happened was pretty dull.The freezer had stopped cooling. So, we called John. He came on time as promised. Pretty soon he diagnosed the problem (a puny fan had quit working). He ordered the fan. Two days later John showed up with the fan. He quickly installed it with out much fanfare. He charged us a reasonable amount for his two trips to our house and then he left. On his way out, he also gave us a few tips on how to keep our fridge in tip-top condition.So, no, John is not a superhero. He is a reliable, honest super-repair hero who does a no-nonsense, no BS, no drama job. You should hire him if you need a repairman. No second thought about it.

We called Johns Appliance Repair when we noticed our 4-yr old LG washer was leaking. John answered the phone himself on the first call, told me a couple of likely causes of the problem and quoted exact prices for fixing each of those cases. He showed up right when he said he would, got the job done quickly an neatly. It turned out to be one of the problems he suspected (a leaking intake valve), and he charged exactly the price he had quoted. Highly recommended.

Hard to come by such people...I have a malfunctioning samsung refrigerator...I texted him thr model number and make and he replied be doesnt do Samsung....it should have ended there...but I have been pretty handy with my fridge last few months trying to solve the issue and asked him if I was in the right direction to fix it and if he had suggestions....well, technically he is okay to not reply and move on...but the gem of the person he is, he replied with some ideas which I will try next time when my fridge ices...and I am pretty confident it is the solution given I have tried so many different things before....Thanks for his idea and his approach to life to help the community even when not required..will approach him for anything in the future when I need help!

EXCELLENT experience with John who showed up on time...even slightly early! :) I was having an issue with my 18 year old Maytag washer that shook violently and literally jumped across the room when on a spin cycle. Convinced there was a mechanical problem with the unit, I called John to help me. After thoroughly testing the washer through an actual cycle with a heavy load, he determined it needed some adjusting and voila, issue fixed! Sure, he could have probably pushed for replacement of parts, or made this a more expensive repair, but he was completely honest and friendly and charged me his minimum service charge. John also had the unit opened up and explained to me what the issue was and that everything looked good. Very, very happy.

I was impressed with the communication. I did not use their services but, was thrilled they returned my call.

Didnt reply to my RFP for over 2 weeks and only then after I posted a poor review on Google. He claims to have misplaced my request in the tumult of summer vacations, so (taking him at his word, and honoring his request) I have revised my 1 star review.
