Set up appointment for my son. They sent confirmation email, 4 text messages. When my husband, who took off from work to go online along with my son, went online. Kept waiting no one came? So Tried calling them back 4/5 times and finally one person answered and said oh that was by an error. Are you kidding me? Sent me for 4 text messages and set up appointment. In the end they said nope, we didnot do it, system did it???? My son was waiting for whole day and my husband took off from work to be there.
My son loves it and so do we. They have a welcoming atmosphere, knowledgeable instructors, and provide a great platform for kids to learn and build valuable skills. Very impressed! Highly recommend!
Mighty Coders is a great after school program. This is for the kids who loves to spend time with their favorite video games but think differently. Curriculum is very well thought, it helps kid build logical thinking, problem solving skills from easy to critical thinking slowly. They start understanding what code is running behind each characters in a game, how they move or act etc. It encourages them to think and try their own logic and make a new game. Kids really get happy when they make the code run and build their own game. In a way they start learning latest technologies which is the new generation. As a parent I feel this will help kids in school and possibly in future career. Tuition is affordable. This is not like short term money making camps. Owner is very knowledgeable and a tech person. I recommend every kid try this out if you think your kid has logical bent of mind.
We absolutely love going to Mighty Coders! My child loves the classes, the attention and the overall cool of the place, and I love having an hour to myself to run my errands in the nearby shopping center. We do coding homework at home (as an extra activity, free of charge and not required) because it is so much fun and because it gets us the reward card punches faster. The reward system offers a smaller gift/toy for one completed punch card, and more substantial prizes like robots or Alexa station for two punch cards. This teaches kids delayed gratification, patience, and above all, setting and reaching their goals. Learning how to code along the way definitely helps too! We are signed up for Mighty Coders summer camps, and cant wait to see what those will have to offer. Dmitry, who is the owner and curriculum writer, is knowledgeable and amazing, very good with kids. Same with all of his stuff. I highly recommend this place!
Dmitry and the staff are great. My kids have learned a lot and really enjoy going. They are very patient and super helpful. I highly recommend them.
Love this place! Dmitry and his staff are great - friendly, smart, and really good with the kids. My son is 12 and he likes coming here.He has made a lot of progress learning Java, Python, etc which is what he wanted. (We started classes last Fall.) It’s a little pricey but I feel like you get what you pay for and my son’s coding education is a worthy investment. Highly recommend!🏆UPDATE 1/28/20 - We’ve been coming every week for over a year now and my son is still totally engaged and loves it. He has learned SO much! The instructors are consistent, friendly and always positive. They’ve added special events too (Hackathons and Day camps) which are fun extras. Matty and Koenn are terrific. We couldn’t be happier with Mighty Coders. 💯
