I called to have my washer and dryer looked at. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He informed me that he would call me the next day with a price quote for parts. I called the office 3 days later to inquire about the price. The woman who answered was beyond rude. I have never experienced such poor customer service or professionalism with a company. She told me that they left me a voicemail with the prices. So i checked while on the phone and I did not have one. She told me that the technician quoted me. I again told her I did not speak to him about that. She insisted I did. She said he gave me the business card of someone to call to clean my dryer vent. I told her he didn’t. It was like arguing with a brick wall. She was not present during the one conversation I had with the man that came out and she even asked “Trish” in the background to confirm a conversation that neither of them were a part of. I am appalled at the way I was spoken to. I would 100% not recommend them to my worst enemy. I would NEVER insist to someone I was speaking to that they were a part of a conversation that never existed. She was so insistent I began to question my own insanity. If you don’t mind being a part of not existent conversations, then this is the business for you.

Getting a call to say that a business has overbooked themselves is annoying. Getting a call that says that a business has overbooked themselves, that they refuse to reschedule, and they then refuse to give a recommendation of someone who could help is just not professional. Will not use this business, and would strongly discourage anyone else of using this business.

Repair technicians Barry and Doug are professional, friendly and efficient. They have worked on our appliances for years. But today, we were “fired” by Barbara who answers the phone in the office! We had a scheduled appointment yesterday between 1 and 5 and we were here all afternoon waiting. I called twice after 3:00 when no one had shown and was forwarded to voicemail when no one answered.When I called this morning to reschedule, the lady said Barbara was the one in the office yesterday and she had noted that she called both of our numbers and got no answers when the serviceman was on the way. That did not happen. I told her that after checking both phones for missed messages. Later, Barbara called me and told me to find someone else and that she would no longer be dealing with us! I wonder if Doug, the owner, knows how badly this unprofessional behavior by Barbara reflects on his business. I see from other reviews that other people have experienced the same thing. Too bad because they do good work.😩🥺

We were very disappointed in the companys common customer service. The technician was fine but the lady in the office is just plain rude and doesnt like to be questioned about your products or costs. We were charged for a part that we didnt need and couldnt return, didnt know that until later. It took the part longer to come in and when it did ,there was a problem getting an appointment for the repair. It was one excuse after another. Mind you we empathize with the serviceman bc of his health.But there is no reason to be mean to people who are spending money in your business. We ended up getting a different company to come out and do repair and we only needed 1 part not the 2 we bought. But were stuck with it.We dont recommend this company at all.

Called for appointment on Monday and work was done the following day. Technician was very polite and really knew his stuff. Fixed our appliance in a timely manner. Will use this company again and tell all my friends to do the same.

We scheduled an appointment for the technician to show for 2-5PM. American Appliance called me at 4:29PM and I could not get to the phone. I called back 4 times starting at 4:32PM and no one answer. I called to ask what happen with my appointment the next day and the receptionist said I was not home—not true. She also said they close at 4:30PM and that is why no one answered the phone. I don’t recommend using this company. If you do, call at the beginning of your appointment window to let them know you are home.

I called American Appliance Service two weeks ago and made an appointment to fix our Ice Machine. They were supose to come in on Wednesday September 11, they did not show up nor did they call to say they were not coming. I decided to call them on Thursday to find out why they did not come in for the appointment and she told me that one of their technician called in sick. She said someone would be out on Friday, only to find out they were not coming in at all. This is not good bussiness. She called on Friday around 9:30 a.m. and told me to find someone else to fix our ice machine. They have fixed on our machine before and had problems trying to figure out the problem. After three weeks of trying to figure out the problem, he got it fixed. I will never recomend this company to any one. They are not customer friendly!

The employee who came out and did the repairs was fantastic and friendly. I cant say enough good about him.The office staff lied to us repeatedly, sometimes telling completely different stories on top of each others lies. We wont use a company we cant trust.

I called to get help with my washing machine and the lady was short and hung up before I was even through talking. Making the appointment for the week following, I stayed home all day Monday from work because I was told they would be there sometime between noon and 5 pm. at 3:30, I called to see if there was a more clear cut time, and the lady told me it would probably be another hour. When 5 pm came and went, I called to find out that the office closed at 4:30 and there was no way to contact the repair man. I misses an entire days work for a repair man that never showed. I never received a call apologizing or explaining what had happened. This is a very poorly run company.

Much like some of the other post. Agreed to have them come out and looked at my dryer, agreed on a time to meet and then got bumped not once but twice. The second time was the most costliest for me. We originally set up the appointment on a Tuesday for them to come out on Friday...BEFORE LEAVING MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT I called to confirm that a technician would still be coming out and was told that he would be at my house by 3 pm. I called at 3:30 to get a status update and was told I was bumped to Monday...unacceptable......

Charged an insane amount to reboot my oven... After they put it back together (i had already broke it down) then they said we usually tell people to try this first... i didnt get the advice in advance when i called then was billed entirely too much for the time spent. Called to ask about a break on the bill - #denied. Will look for other options in the future.

We have been using American Appliance for service for the past 20 years and have had nothing but excellent service. I would not hesitate to call them for any of our appliance repair needs.

I called to schedule an appt on monday, but they were unable to come out until friday. That was no big deal as most services dont have immediate openings. On friday morning I received a call saying that the repair man called in sick and my appt would be canceled. They stated that I could reschedule for the following wednesday. They were not willing to try to fit me in sooner. As this was not my fault I expected that they try to make it sooner than waiting an additional 5 days. 10 days without an washing machine is impossible. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I am astounded that these people stay in business. I called and set up an appointment. The gentleman came and looked at the dryer. He said he would call us when the parts came in with an estimate and it should be a week to 10 days. No call for a month. I called them. They claimd they had called me, however I have callerID and I had no calls. I set up for a repair man to come out on Monday June 16th from 3:00 - 6:00. I left work early at 3:30 and even called the main number and told the operator that I was leaving work and I would be home to receive the repair man so he wold not need to call me in advance. She said she would relay the message. I was home the entire time and there was no call and no show. This is not the way to do business.Jill Burda, Benton, La.

As a business owner myself Ive learned to give people a few extra minutes. This company by far is one of the worst Ive ever had to deal with. I called a missed call 4mins after receiving it and they cancelled my appointment and told me I would have to reschedule. Also telling me the driver was not even headed to my home yet. So as you can imagine Ive not very happy with this company after waiting a week for this appointment.
