From downtown Boone intersection of Depot St. and Mast General Store head north on King St. (US-421) towards Tennessee and the school is 1.5 miles on the right.

Cool place. After about 2 years of training here, these are my impressions:The kung fu classes are very traditional, so expect there to be discussion of traditional Chinese medicine and spirituality -- qi/chi, qigong, wu xing, meridians, etc. They focus a lot on complex forms and chin na (joint lock) techniques. They teach both external and internal styles of Kung Fu; the internal styles are taught at the Emperors Long Fist class. The Kung Fu classes occasionally involve training with staffs.I enjoyed my time training Kung Fu here, personally, but if that is not what you are looking for, your other option is to look at the Arnis class. The master (Rick Ward) teaches Arnis very well, and he trained under Remy Presas directly. Remy Presas actually visited this school in person, which is pretty neat. From my experience, sparring is a lot more common in the Arnis/Eskrima class than in the Kung Fu classes.Last I was there, the sparring was usually pretty light contact because many people didnt use boxing gloves or wrist wraps for protection.The building is a little bit small and can be crowded sometimes, but it is usually not an issue.
