These guys were fantastic. A screw punctured one of our tires, and we were told to stop by this place. This is a small shop, and the parking lot was nearly full. other customers ahead of us when we entered the office. We explained our issue and they had time to look at the tire and repair it in less than 30 minutes. Excellent service and price.

I have used Boone Tire on several occasions, both for tires, oil changes and auto repairs. Every time they meet or exceed my expectations. Prices are reasonable and they are one of the few shops that do not try and sell you something you don’t need. I trust these guys!!!

They are truly good and honest people. Would leave them more than 5 stars if I could. Been to Boone Tire many times and they are always honest about what needs to be fixed and fair about pricing. I brought in my car today to get rear brakes replaced - they looked and realized the brakes were fine and charged me $25 to fix a much smaller issue. Its not the first time theyve done this - they wont take your money unless something really needs to be fixed. I will not take my car anywhere else in Boone.

I can’t overstate how great my experience here was! I had my car towed here to replace a flat and was quoted an extremely reasonable price for a single, brand new tire. As Anthony started on my car, he checked my old tire first to make sure it couldn’t be patched; after replacing it, he asked about an issue he’d noticed with my exhaust pipe. I explained the situation and he immediately volunteered to work on it. I was so grateful for the extra hours of labor he put into my vehicle- and he was great company while I waited. He wouldn’t accept hardly anything more than what we’d agreed on for my tire, even after all the additional work he did for me. It was honestly such an incredible kindness and I will definitely stick with these guys for all future car troubles. As other reviews have mentioned, if you’re a young woman who has had bad experiences with other mechanics in town, save yourself that headache and bring your car here instead. Got my car towed there via AAA due to some tire trouble and my severe lack of a reliable spare. They were super busy, but my car was fixed in under 24 hrs and they fixed some issues caused by Mr. Tire when my tires were installed earlier this year. Super nice guys, honest pricing, and didnt get angry with me as I kept calling about my vehicle (sorry for being annoying yall I just had to work haha). I will always take my car there from now on! Seems like these guys are the only boys in town that wont screw you over just because youre a young lady. Thanks guys!

Total scam artists. Told me I needed to replace my fuel pump. Turns out my gauge was just inaccurate. No offer for a refund and I found them messing around in my engine when I went to get it. Avoid this place and all the tweakers who work there!

I had previously been going to the Mr. Tire where Im from and I thought I would do the same in Boone. After a bad experience at the local Mr. Tire, I came here for an oil change, tire alignment and to put two new tires on. They told me it would take about an hour and a half and they stayed true to that. After they were finished I asked if they had found anything else wrong with my car and they answered honestly and told me that I might need to change my front struts later on, but that I wouldnt need to anytime soon. They also charged me less than what the Mr. Tire quoted me for. The employees were friendly and helpful. All in all, I had a good experience here.

Went if to get a flat fixed and the lady up front was extremely rude. They didn’t have the tire in stock that I needed but ordered it for more than $100. I later found same ones at a different tire store for 30 something each. Guess they knew I really needed it. Better options in town.

We live in Valle Crucis and have been taking our vehicles to B.T. for years. The guys know there stuff, incredibly friendly and will not suggest work that is not absolutely required...whether its tires, fluid replacement or mechanical work. Clint, Cody and the staff are absolutely awesome.

My wife and I were in town for vacation and our car had a slow leak in the sidewall of one of the tires. I called first thing in the morning after we got in and they fit us in right way. Excellent service the whole way through - its great to work with folks who clearly enjoy what they do. After a replacement tire and balancing, my car handles like new. Came in a couple months ago and was frustrated about not getting a receipt. First time going to an auto shop instead of self repair so we were a little taken aback, but come to find out later that we had gotten an amazing deal. Awesome staff, great accommodations, and a stunning level of friendliness. Would recommended to anyone!

As we were packing the car up to return home, we noticed that the back passenger tire appeared low. Checked it and sure enough it was. We headed to BOONE TIRE CO. and were met by two young men that took over immediately. They jacked up the rear end and bubble tested the tire. When that didn’t showanything, they took the tire off the car and checked it from stem to stern. It was the new tire stem cell hat had a slow leak. The two young men were friendly, always smiling and courteous, and took our concern seriously. It was all done within 10 minutes and we were on our way. They would not accept payment! Just wished us a safe trip home.We have used BOONE TIRE CO now three times and every time it has been a joy to work with the people there. Most straight-up place in town. I’ve been taking my cars there for 15+ years. No BS, and no run-around. They stay busy so don’t expect them to deal with you same-day. It’s best to set up an appointment and they’ll do you right. Lot of shady places in town, I always recommend these guys to people who ask.

These guys are the best they are always reliable even for a quick drop in and have on many occasions looked at my car rather deeply when Ive dropped by right on the spot they know their stuff and are my go to mechanics in boone especially for anything not vehicle brand specific or for routine maintenance and they are the best tire shop in town hands down!.

We have been taking our cars to Boone Tire Center since we moved to Boone in 1986, and weve always been very pleased with the work they have done!

Don’t go here. I took my Ford Ranger in for new ball joints. I was given a verbal quote of 3 hours labor by Clint. I picked it up and found parts prices were much lower than originally thought but total price was abut the same. Looked at receipt and found an extra hour of labor plus an $80 alignment. I chalked it up to a lesson learned and to find another mechanic. It gets worse...truck started making a thunking noise. Just took to a trusted mechanic and he quickly found problem, sway bar was put back on without the bushing by Boone Tire. Very sloppy mechanic! Save your money and find someone else to work on your vehicle!

I needed a new tire that my wufe wrecked. We were on vacation on Beech Mountain. I found these guys on Google. I called to make sure they had what I needed. I decided to go and probably leave the car. There was a hole in the tire. Within a few minutes he had the tire to make sure it couldnt be repaired. And it couldnt. By now about six minutes have passed. Before you could say Jack rabbit. He had everything fixed and back on the car. He told me his fasted time was 25 minutes. I said well you are a little under that. He told me the 25 minutes was for 4 tires. Well from beginning to paying it was under 25 minutes. Good job and an Excellant price. Dont hesitate to use them. It aint fancy but they are great.

Both of my headlights went out unexpectedly while visiting from Florida. They got me in quickly, and both the price and the wait were less than anticipated. They were also very friendly and happy to answer all my questions. Definitely recommend!!

I used to love taking my car there but then I took my daughters car to them. I paid almost $500 for them them to tell me that they fixed everything that was wrong and she should have no problems at all. It started making more noise after she picked it up, now when we returned it for him to make it right, he had it towed and refused to work on it again. You cant trust this boy to be honest or have any integrity at all.

While on a vacation to the mountains, we ended up with a screw in our tire and had to get it fixed. This place had good reviews, so we stopped in. The customer service was great, very friendly staff. We ended up getting all four tires replaced, which had to be ordered. They plugged the hole from the screw and got us in the next day to change the tires. We went to the mall around the corner while they changed out the tires, which went very quickly, and even picked us up from the mall because it started to rain. I highly recommend this place!

Fast, friendly service. They were the only place in town that could fit me in same day for a brake job, and they also replaced a tie rod that was going bad in just over an hour. I had my infant son with me and they also went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Pricing was reasonable, with no surprises. Great experience, and Ill definitely be back and recommending this place to friends and family from now on.

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had for auto maintenance. I was in need of tires before going on vacation and my mom was able to call and order tires over the phone and make a timely appointment for me before I had to go to work. They were quick and efficient with their time and super courteous. They also answered all questions I had regarding other maintenance issues and gave me great referrals for anything they could not fix themselves. Highly recommend!

This is a review for work not done. I am over our work vans and a one was in Boone he thought he needed brakes i called Boone Tire Center and sent the guy there he checked the breaks told him they was still good. Most places now would have just replaced them

My son took his car for a simple oil change and the tech left the cap off. He drove home from App and the car left a nasty mess on my driveway. When I opened the hood oil was all over the engine and dripping down numerous parts under the car. The dipstick showed low and took 2 quarts. We were disgusted with such unprofessional work. I hope the tires we bought there dont come off. Ill never patronize this place again.

Visiting Boone from out of town, as so many do, and ended up with a nail in our tire. Possible problem, but these guys made sure it was no big deal. We walked right in, and within five minutes they were already fixing the tire. Patched it up, price was under $20. Out the door in less than 20 minutes total. Really nice guys too. We appreciate their help.

Friendliest and fastest tire service Ive ever had. I had a screw in the tread of one tire so I took my car in. They checked all the tires and saw another screw in a different tire and fixed it too.Fyi- they didnt ask for a review so this is an honest and fair review.

Im vacationing in the area and had an issue with my brakes so i went to Boone Tire Center. Due to my schedule I wasnt able to make an appointment for later in the day. Even though they new I would never be a customer because I live 800 miles away these guys took the time to test drive my car and check out my brakes to make sure they were safe for me to continue on my trip. Thanks to Drew and his brother for helping me out today. Even though they didnt do any work on my car you can tell a business that is professional and cares about its customers.

I had a bad radiator fan in a 1991 Jeep Cherokee and they replaced it within a day, even with me not making an appointment. Unfortunately, when I left and got into Boone traffic I was still overheating, so I made an appointment for them to see me the following morning. It was only a blown fuse and took around 5 minutes to fix. Am I happy that they did not catch the blown fuse the first time around? No. However they are only human and did not charge me for the fuse. In addition the people there are genuinely friendly, and their labor rates are more then fair. I will be a repeat customer, I just wish they did state inspections.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Brought my car into their shop to get a simple suspension diagnostic done to see if there was anything wrong. They kept my car overnight orb no follow up before closing and I had to call the next afternoon to even get some response if they were done or not. They didn’t even look at the car, just told me it was a rear control arm. Upon my own skepticism, I jacked my car up afterwards and found that my front ball joint was shot. Literally took me 5 minutes to find it and that’s how I know they didn’t even look at it. If that ball joint were to fail at highway speeds it could have been life threatening. Very dishonest shop and I WILL NOT come here again or recommend anyone to this place.

Service seemed to be ok decent price friendly till 2 days after having breaks rotors and a caliper on my car I use my emergency break and it would not release it worked fine before I had everything replaced Soni called them and they tell me they cant get to it for 4 days I thinks thats friggen ridiculous considering it was fine before they worked on it wether they stretched a cable or whatever I feel they should have let me bring it in right then it wouldnt have taken 15 min to fix the problem on a lift I cant even jack this car up because it has air ride suspension and the air ride has to be turned into service mode by the computer before jacking it up or putting on a lift

We all know awd cars need the same size tires to operate properly. These idiots sold me and my friends a completely different size tire and told her it was the right size. It caused permeant damage to her transmission and they refused to even correct their mistake... I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to this business

Having a college student at App State Boone tire and auto repair has been my go to place. We are located in Raleigh so no chance to do repairs myself.Drew and the rest of the guys there are topnotch and they charge a very fair price on repairs. We had a front support arm on a 2001 elantra that broke coming out of the state farm parking lot and this latest issue on a 2005 Elantra with battery power cable on starter attachment stud that broke off which would not allow the car to start so new starter.. $250 bucks P&L.When replacing parts be sure to ask about auto zone parts.. they like to use napa, which is good stuff but a bit pricy but does include a 12 month 12k miles parts and labor warranty.. Not really worth the extra expense most of the time. starter at napa $250, starter at auto zone 133 life time warranty. I like life time over 12 months -12k coverage.So just need to get through to june 2020 (graduation) and home free.. :)

Terrible. Long story short: Had my truck towed there by AAA for a timing cover gasket. Got it back with a loud metallic scraping/grinding noise coming from the front of the engine. Was dismissed multiple times when I took it back to have them check it, and constantly lied to (Its the alternator, its the fuel pump, I cant hear the noise at all! Its normal valve noise, new parts come broken! were all excuses I was offered). In the end, they opted to kick me off of their property instead of checking their work. Frauds of the highest level.

More than just a tire store!

Everyone was super nice and went above and beyond helping us when our car broke down.

AAA towed my car here after the timing belt snapped. These guys found out the problem and let me keep my car on the lot until I found a shop that could fix it. Once I was ready to have it moved, I called a few minutes after 5pm and even though the person working was headed out the door, they still answered the phone and waited to answer AAAs confirmation call. They didnt charge me a dime and Im really thankful they took care of me while I could sort everything out!
