I had a company break one of my light fixtures while delivering my furniture. CLEARLY THEIR FAULT! They didn’t have enough out of the till to pay me for the damage directly so we had to go through this place. I have been trying to get in contact with PATRICK CURRY for MONTHS now!! He clearly does not care to actually do his job at all!! If I could give this company negative stars I would!!!

Long read, but a Great readNever never go with this place if you dont have to. If it was possible to give this place 0 stars I would.. I had a injury at work that needed surgery. I never heard word back for around 3 months. I kept calling and leaving messages with the receptionist who would promise (which was always a lie) that my case worker was in a meeting and would call me back in 24 hours. Needing to have surgery through these past 3 months when I finally got a hold of my case worker with these concerns she told me to just get the surgery and use my insurance and sedgwick would reimburse me. When I went to schedule my surgery, the coordinator at the clinic let me know, what the case worker from sedgwick said was highly illegal. I waited another month, at this point my injury has gotten way worse, and finally hear back that they denied me. They have no cause to deny my case. Now its so bad that I have to have emergency surgery. Not only all this but it took days to weeks to hear word from her and when I finally did it was during off hours that I already informed her of and she would leave a voice-mail.

I had an insurance policy with Sedgwick with $2,000 worth of coverage for items in a storage unit. In July 2013, my unit was broken into and items collectively worth more than $4,000 were taken. Evidence was captured on video, a police report was filed, and the detectives report concurs that the evidence indicates the items were stolen and they were mine. Although the insurance certificate did not mention requiring documentation of ownership, the company demanded proof of ownership before settlement. My items were in the storage unit because my home had been flooded (as documented with FEMA) and almost all my records had been lost. Sedgwick nevertheless demanded proof. The company finally offered a settlement of ~$160, claiming that the items for which I did provide proof of ownership were subject to depreciation when they determined value. However, the insurance certificate clearly stated that items would be valued at actual cash value or the cost of replacing the items. I provided the Blue Book value of the items, but Sedgwick depreciated the items 80% (so a $461 item was valued at only $92, 20% of the actual value). I rejected the proffered settlement of $160 for the >$4,000 worth of items, but the company has yet to compensate me. I strongly recommend against using this company.

I have also been calling Sedgwick so many times and have not gotten any response. Left several messages and no call. I see I am not the only one that has this problem. I think Sedgwick does this so u run out of time and they dont have to pay for everything you go through. My shoulder hurts all day and worse at night Sedgwick can you call me back so I can go back to the doctor.

I have been given a claim number to get my injury claim started, but no one from sedgewick will return my calls. I have called for many days and always get a recording. I have injured my upperarm-shoulder while under the employ of dshs as a caregiver. I am in much pain and it is only progressing!Do you really exist or do I have to get an attorney to represent me? My injury occured the end of november. Do people ignore you so that you will give up and stop asking for the help that you need so that you can get healed and go back to work. If this goes on too long,I my not be able to ever work productively again. Please Sedwick, have the decency to return my calls!
