Great boat rental, I dropped to 4 stars cause no stereo and the pontoon was a little barebones. But very logical and setup for a beginner to have success.We rented the boat to go to Mound Key and we did, it was very cool! We couldnt get our sailboat Dragons Lair into the shallows but I wanted to see the estuary!

If I can give this place a zero rating I would, as soon as we stepped in to this place this one guy that works their by the name of Andy was extremely rude. First he overcharged us for parking, $50 per car and on the website it says $25 per car. When we were getting on the boat he referred to our group as these people and we came to notice that he referred to our group as these people because we are Hispanic. As we arrived back and explain to another employee the horrible experience and the overcharge there was no apology at all. We will never go back to this place and will definitely make sure to tell my friends and family to never visit this place. Andy should not be outside taking care of people because In America you will have different people from all over the world going to your business.

It was a bad experience for our family. They tried to overcharge us for extra car we brought, and treated us like we were not welcome. Although it was understandable that they were frustrated this morning, a staff member stated aloud that these people think that they can do whatever they want. Until now, we wondered what these people meant and even thou they were frustrated, they have no right to say that to customers. From the moment we arrived, it was not a welcoming staff. We have rented many times boats around this area, and this has been the worse service we ever experienced. Sad.

I was not going to write a review about this place because my family and friends were already writing about our horrible experience but I changed my mind after I received a phone call from this company.First, as soon as we got there they were super rude and intentionally overcharged us for the extra cars. Our sitter fell through last minute so we had to bring two kids which brought us over the limit of people. We understood and had two adults leave because of that. It should have ended there but as we were getting on the boat, Andy said these people think they can do what they want. I am not sure what he meant by calling us these people.Today, instead of calling me to apologize for their rude employees, they called me for an apology! He wanted to know why we were so upset and why did we get on the boat if we had a bad experience! If he would have called to apologize for his staffs behavior and the fact that they overcharged us then I could have asked my family and friends to remove their review. I will not be asking them to remove it and I will add my apology to this review.I am sorry that you do not know how to run a business.I am sorry that you hire incompetent rude people.I am sorry that you do not know how to fix a situation when you are at fault.Finally, I am sorry that you chose the wrong person to call and ask for an apology.

Nice boats for a reasonable price. Its great exploring Bonita Bay, watching dolphins and sunbathing at the beaches of Lovers Key. Next time were going to rent 6 hours to even reach Sanibel or Pine Island.

Great place to rent a pontoon from. Parking is limited but the employees do a good job of making room for everyone. Boats are in great shape and run very well. There are maps right on the boat to help you with navigation. Our day trip was perfect with these guys. We would rent from them again no problem

Family had a great hassle free time. no previous boating experience but was simple to operate. 5 hr trip with fishing was a blast on private boat. bought shrimp from the rental co for $5/doz. will definitely be back for next special occasion.

Rented on May 10, 2019. Great experience overall! The staff is very nice and helpful when needed. The price for a full day (6-7 hours) is unbeatable. Very nice and well kept pontoon style boat, it ran great and was easy to operate. Estero Bay was beautiful and easy to navigate. Bonita Rentals provides a very nice chart with buoy markings and places of interest on it. This made it so simple to get in and out. We saw dolphins! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good value and a very nice day on the water.

We rented a pontoon from this company for 4 hours and had an excellent experience. The operators are knowledgeable and friendly. The boats are in good condition. They give you a huge map in front of the steering wheel that shows the routes and channel markers showing you where you can go. The bay is super shallow so you must stay between the canals between the markers. We saw lots of dolphins and birds. Our dog came with us and slept the entire time on the bench. Our time was from 8AM - 12PM on a Tuesday during the Christmas holiday. The period from 8AM-10AM was magical as we had the entire bay to ourselves. Then it started getting really busy out there. The cost upfront was $225 and it included everything - boat, gas, taxes. They ask for a tip at the end so bring some cash.

Andy and Pat took care of us at the last minute. I would never ever go anywhere else. These guys will always get our business. Word up!

Family of seven, five kids. Live here year-round, and have found this is so much cheaper than owning a boat. For as often as we want to go out, this is perfect. Great for seeing dolphin, light- fishing, or exploring sandbars. If you have a dog, the dog beach is a must try! The real tip is lovers key, though. Great place for a picnic, some sunning, or a good swim.These guys will set you up with a great pontoon, make sure you know how to use it, and where to go... couldnt be easier! My number one recommendation for people who live here, or on a short trip!

Nice job by Bonita Boat Rentals! Pontoon boats are large and comfortable, and the 4 stroke engines are great, absolutely no smell and they are very quite. Also, the map they mount right on the dash is excellent, you cant get lost and you cant run aground. With other boat rental places I spent a lot of worry just trying to figure out where I was, which is stressful. No stress here!

We only spent 2 nights there. But we loved it. We are planning a family vacation there in the future. Plenty of room for 4 or 5. The kitchen area was great they had plates and silverware pots and pans, and several cooking utensils. Stove, refrigerator coffee pot, toaster and microwave. The place was as clean as any 4 or 5 star weve stayed at. And being right across the street from the beach I would have not been surprised if it had a musty oder. We stayed at a couple of 4stars next to the beach that did. Well be back.
