Do not use this company. I hired them for my daughters 1st birthday party today. I received a text cancelling an hour before the party. I tried calling and they refused to answer. I kept calling and eventually I texted. I told them this was a special day because its my daughters first birthday party. They finally responded back by saying that they found another Minnie Mouse, but the second mouse never showed. I have not received my money back and they did not show. They did not call. We had 20 little kids who were very disappointed

Bad service!!! Never showed up! I had booked them for birthday event and explained them everything the said yes to everything till I made the payment and that was 3 days before birthday and just next day they called and said they cannot arrange fairy princess and if I want then I need to pay extra 170 and I said no after long negotiations! Then they said they’ll arrange Minnie instead of fairy since Mickey was already booked by me earlier from existing reservation! So basically Minnie & Mickey were suppose to arrive at my son’s birthday party!!! And guess what? they never showed up! It was for June 16th event & today is 23rd and I still did not get refund! Be careful & very bad customer service when asking for refund!!!!

We just had our sons 8th birthday party with Chicago Party Characters. We chose a ninjago theme. We had about 20 kids ages 3-11, boys and girls. I was extremely impressed with the actors, specifically in how they kept all the kids at super high energy the whole time, engaged in every fun game, ninja training action or treasure hunt they did!The space is very cool and engaging, we didnt even need decorations. The kids could run, play, laugh and scream - in fact they were encouraged to! There was plenty of space for all the kids and adults, food and gifts.All in all, one of the best birthdays weve ever done (and we have three kids, so thats out of 18 birthday parties so far!).My only two criticisms at all were that we were only given 15 min for set up and clean up each, and that there is no fridge or freezer to store food. But those were easily gotten around to still have a fantastic time!Thanks again Chicago Party Characters for such an amazing time!

I NEVER write reviews on businesses, but at this point Chicago Party Characters- elmo has left me absolutely no choice. I will start with the one star because I would give them less than that if possible. I did an extensive search for party characters for my sons 2nd birthday party. After googling my area I came across Chicago Party and read through the reviews, based on some of the review I was turned off and decided to look elsewhere. I found a few places but none had the two characters I was looking for together. Against my better judgement I called Chicago party, i was told they did have the two characters I was looking for. Toy Storys Buzz and Woody. The price was about $50 more than what other places had quoted me but it was a last resort so I confirmed the information and paid $119 deposit. The day before the party Mr. Woody called to confirm the time and location and what the expectations were for the party (games, balloons, tattoo, etc.) I felt at ease after speaking with him knowing they would show up in costume and my son would have an awesome party. I rented a venue with a 3 hour party time frame. I scheduled for the characters to come from 2:00-3:00pm. The day of the party everything was going as scheduled until I got the phone call at 1:47pm from Mr. Woody stating they were running a few mins late, did I still want them to come. I said of course, I had already paid and my sons party activities were based around the characters, he assured me they were on their way and would be there shortly after 2:00. At 2:29pm I sent a text message will you be arriving soon? at 2:34 I received a response yes we just parked 10 minutes later at 2:45pm two people came into the party not in costume carrying what looked like a tackle box, went straight to a table and began balloon animals. I allowed the children to get balloons and quickly encouraged them to leave so Buzz and Woody could come back, at 3:10pm Buzz and Woody came to see the kids that waited around at the party. The costumes were NOTHING like I was shown in the pictures of the Actual Character to expect I had people asking me who they were supposed to be. Naturally they played with the kids, took pictures etc. They then left the party at 3:20pm. After the party I called customer service and told them what happened the woman was very apologetic and stated she would give my message to customer service and someone would call me back within 24 hours, of course Monday came and went no call, Monday night I called to follow up I was transferred to customer service where I was told my info would be forwarded to the manager Mike and he would call me right back, of course no call. Tuesday morning I called again, customer service again, who then told me well you paid the characters, what do you want us to do I explained that not only was this super unprofessional it was rude. and now I was out $350 for characters who showed up 34 minutes late to their hour booking time and were not even in the correct costumes. I then asked for a manager, I was told he would be given the message and Mike would call me back of course no call, this continued Wed, Thurs and now today Friday. My last called stated with customer service answering the phone saying they spoke to the Owner Mike and he said No refunds I told them to tell Mike all the information I had provided and that it was no way to run a business, if I did not receive so much as a courtesy of a phone call that I would have no choice but to let all 47 parents that were at the party as well as all of the Mom groups I am in on social media as well as reviews on the web know what they are getting into when working with his company. Again I received no response from him, I am now out $350 for two characters who showed up late in horrible costumes, and ruined the activities for my sons 2nd birthday party! Feel free to give Mike a call for all your party disappointment needs!!! Thanks Mike couldnt have let everyone down without you!

The entire process was seamless. Everything was easy! From placing the order online, to the confirmation call & delivery. The gentleman arrived on time set up & even help move some other things a round. The tables, chairs & bounce house was clean & as described. Our daughters mermaid theme party was amazing & one of our friends asked us what company we rented with because they love the different table sizes we chose. Next event will be with this company for sure!

They called the day before to confirm all the details, without me reaching out first.Showed up right at the scheduled start time, setup was quick and professional.Picked up rental on time, and without any assistance needed from me.Definitely will use again, and recommend.Oh, and the bouncy-castle was loved by all the kids.

Alicia did the decor for our wedding reception. Everything turned out lovely and we were very happy. Guess even commented on how elegant our decorations were. She was able to work with our budget to find something we loved. Highly recommend her for your event!

Booking this reservation was so simple and they had the best rate of all the vendors I searched. They were friendly and early for the drop-off which worked out great. Will definitely use again!

Have never had the pleasure of writing one of these internet reviews of how amazingly awesome my experience with a party entertainment service provider was... unfortunately in the past it was the extreme opposite experience of the usual not so good show that you get more often... However, I am pleased to write that an extremely gifted kids party character entertainer named James from this most impressive childrens party entertainment service and his supporting characters named Samantha and Josh who were the other 2 birthday party characters that worked with him entertaining had not only the kids enthralled but even the adults laughed and raved about them all at my kids big fifth birthday party bash this past weekend in Chicago These entertainers altogether put on way more than just birthday party entertainment but real live action cartoon character entertainment shenanigans more sophisticated than kids could see at childrens theater or on television... and it was all in my back yard for my son Ben who was made to be and especially feel like the superstar he is at his party by James. I could not possibly imagine being more pleased with what James and they did for my kid Ben as he and all the kids at Bens unforgettable birthday party enjoyed the entertainment so much more than I could have hoped for when I hired these truly professional party performers. They were all led by James who for over 2 hours in a beautiful but obviously heavy and hot elmo costume kept the energy not just up but non stop (and OMG he even had the voice pitch perfect!) through every age appropriate game he led and the funny comedy magic show he performed that had all the kids and many adults at the party in stitches... and all the wonderful balloon-making and sculpting and the hand and face painting they all did for all the kids and even some adults at the best kids party I ever had thanks to especially James and also the other 2 wonderful birthday party characters and entertainers. Obviously I could not possibly recommend James and his extremely professional party entertainer assistants from this awesome kids party entertainment planning company any higher!

Diana helped my husband & I with all three days of our wedding celebration with the stages and decor. We got alot of compliments on our stages and centerpieces. Chicago Party Characters elmo delivered each day in a timely and professional manner. They were very easy to work with.

Had a great experience. Decided 2 days in advance I wanted a jumper and they accommodated without issue. Delivery was early and pickup was right on time. The jumper was in great shape and super clean. Second time Ive used them and would again.

These folks did everything they had promised, communicated with me throughout the process, and their prices were the best in the area. I would definitely use them again. We did supply own own tablecloths.

Customer service was nice. The timing of delivery and pick up was perfect, the driver even called to let me know when they were 5mins away.Overall from the ordering process to set up and take down I was satisfied no issues.

Another birthday, another great review! Michelle (aka. Ariel), came again this year, and like last, was a perfect compliment for our party. The attention she adds, not only looking like Ariel, but playing the part extremely well, made for a very fun time for my daughter and her friends. I cant recommend this service enough. They are professional as well as talented. Minor things, like parking a block away so no one sees her getting out of a car, to always staying in character, and adding extra time to make sure all the kids get full attention, make this service easily the best! This is our third year using this service, my first review was the original year where we had Elsa, the last two have both been Ariel, and the same actress too (Michelle). I think seeing the same Ariel shows how well they are treated and how well they love performing for the parties. Yet another positive for this business.

I would honestly rate this much less if I could. I had booked a princess for my daughters birthday party and I never heard from her. I called numerous times to customer service and left plenty of voicemails. I never received a call back and the day came, she didnt arrive. They said theyd offer me a refund, but it doesnt make up for the disappointment my daughter went through. This company is unprofessional.

So, on 6/31/18 we ordered (Reservation Information (WRSA-11RWZN)) an Ariel princess (HER FAVORITE) for my daughters 9th birthday party coming up on 7/9/18, on the Friday night before the party at 8pm 7/6/18, I get an E-mail saying sorry you have been canceled thats it, no reason or explanation, I have to call them to find out what is going on or what happen, which was just one excuse after another (none of which makes any sense, cant even get them to replace Ariel with another performer, ANYONE OF THEIR CHARACTERS at this point would work, something is better than nothing right?).... at 9:46 pm on Friday night, no other place is open to make emergency plans to cover for their total lack of even caring. I am just screwed and they honestly didnt even care about their part of the deal. oh... and yeah WHERES MY REFUND OF THE $185 prepaid reservation fee, since I seem to have to demand that back to cause they didnt want to give that up without a fight... it is now 7/25/18 and they still have not returned my money, I either get we already returned it or I put the order in and you should be credited in 3 days Better Business Bureau has a long list of complaints on them for pretty much the same things I have had to deal with, they just pocket money hand over fist and dont bother about the complaints or answer for them.

This company is so unprofessional I cried they called me the week of my son party And tell me that they have no PJ Masks available after I booked way in advance then they did not refund me my money until the day before my son’s party so my son did not have his character after I told him and all the guest that there was going to be a special guest I told my son cat boy will be at his party Whatever you do don’t book with them
