Danielle was our wait staff. She did a great job while really busy. Got the Friday Fish Fry. The shrimp was good. The cod seemed like it was fried twice. Get the tater tots. Very crispy! Drinks are strong. There was a band on the patio. We enjoyed ourselves. Will probably try something not fried next time. Maybe Steak Thursday?

I was at the ashburys for a celebration of life we werent in the banquet hall upstairs and I was very impressed I would definitely like to go there for lunch or dinner sometime

Had my husbands Celebration of Life there.Was a great experience, food was execellent and all who attended where so pleased,and impressed with everything. Thank you so much for supporting our family in this time of sorrow.

Very good local place to eat with family, or watch a ball game. I enjoyed the wings, and my wife had the burger (which she enjoyed very much). I would like them to have a better lunch buffet because its only unlimited soup or chili. Another person I was with had the Fish Fry which looked very good also. They do have limited staff so please be patient and they dont have a lot of people there during the day either so go there during that time if you want to avoid crowds. They also have a private room upstairs that can be used for multi purpose events that can seat about 60-70 people.

Terrible and trashy staff. The only reason I go back is bc they have good food and for convenience. The attitude and demeanor of 98% of the staff is a joke, which all and all reflects on management. The 1 star is for the food, bc the food is good but out of the 40 times Ive been there Ive walk out questioning why I come back bc the experience is ruined by the staff. I wouldnt miss the place if it closed or burned down! 😬 Make way for something better plz!!!!!

Horrible experience last Friday in April . Rude Bartender with tattoos always on her phone doesnt wear mask all the time either. Food was awful, cold chili .Went outside to smoke a cigarette near parking lot and the smell of weed hit me in the face. Could hear what sounded like cooks swearing using racial slurs and coughing very loud could hear men talking about drug use while at work. Went to bathroom before I left mens bathroom to be specific and there was a white powder looked like drugs all over the top of the baby changing table. What a great family place would not recommend this place at all!! Bolingbrook park district what kinda people are working at this location. Never wanna bring my family there ever again....

Went for the fish fry. Lets just say that we wont do that again. Got pieces that were cold inside and not cooked all the way through. The young lady that served us was exceptional

I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this fine place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a superb evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for the outstanding evening. The stuff helped in a pleasant way, the meals were appetizing and my guests were extremely overjoyed. We shall absolutely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

We had our daughters wedding shower here and it was wonderful. Michelle was amazing to work with. She listened to and followed through with all my little details. Michelle worked on the menu with me and tweaked it as needed for our event. I was able to get into the space with plenty of time to decorate. The staff was so helpful with table placements and such. The staff that worked our event was kind, courteous and always present. Jake was helpful also and while the food was being served, he helped the wait staff so that we never had to wait long for food to be replenished. We had 51 people at our event, there was plenty of space and the view of the golf course was beautiful. The private bar and private bathrooms were a bonus as was the elevator for those who had trouble with the stairs. I would definitely have an event at Ashburys again.

This spot provides first-rate service and delightful meals. One of the best place in the area. The meals came out fast and the prices were affordable. Highly recommended.

Ive been up here for just drinks, or food and drinks, both alone or with a friend or two, several times, and have enjoyed it every single time.The bartenders are great: friendly and funny, and, even when its busy, attentive. Best of all, they know what theyre doing. As in they actually know how to make a mixed drink properly, as opposed to simply dumping the various ingredients in a glass. I *really* dont like drinks that are made too strong, but a weak drink is almost as bad. Thats never an issue here though: They neither overpour nor skimp on the alcohol.On a cool summer evening, sitting out on their patio with a drink is a perfect way to spend a few hours. The same might be said of being inside on a winter evening. Of course, you want a good meal before having a drink, and they have you covered there, too. Their sweet potato fries are the best Ive ever had, bar none. And the pulled pork is just as good!

I got the feeling that its a local place but of course, all are welcome! Everyone there was extra friendly and helpful. Not a disappointment whatsoever.. good choice for the Friday fish fry also!

I visit this spot a lot since I work nearby. I have to say their customer service is always good and they keep the place well organized constantly. Rates are reasonable and they serve sizeable portions.

Golf course restaurant & bar. Great place to stop after a game of golf with outdoor seating. Ive been there usually early afternoon to early evening & restaurant never seems crowded. However Ive had good food there. The bar is separate from the restaurant so it makes for a good family eatery. Good prices & nice wait people.Just visited for breakfast. Menu was very limited - but food & people were good. Prices were fair.

My brother in law host an annual golf outing each year. Staff is friendly, service is good. Course has always been in great condition for a nine hole. Not a very difficult course to play, I do recommend it.

Highly recommended Ashburys At Boughton Ridge. I was celebrating my graduation here and all the food we had was delicious. They even gave me a less because they said we order a lot of foods. Thanks.

Have been going there for years. Many positive changes and improvements. Sporty course well layed out. The outside patio area is awsum in summer. Friendly staff, good sandwichs, reasonable prices.HOWEVER, the food menu keeps shrinking, offering less and less of a selection!

Good food and good golf for a 9 hole

Played 9 holes and then had the fish fry. All you care you eat with fries and coleslaw. Great price at 10.95. They also offer fish and shrimp, all you can eat for 13.95. Miller Lite draft, 16 oz was 3.00. Good food and reasonable prices. They also offer full menu option as well. This restaurant is part of the Boughton Ridge golf course facility.

Usually good food, but with a price. Last Sunday I came in after a long day. They had run out of hamburger...thats ok, I can understand that. So, I ordered a Reuben with sweet potato fries. What I received were left over fries and a burnt Reuben. My wife took it all back since I had given up on the day. They told her the kitchen was closed, but she persuaded them to reopen and make it all right. They did, but Im sure they werent happy about it. Too bad I cant post the picture I took off this mess.

Ashbury’s has been a favorite luncheon place with my retired friends after our Pack & Ship for the Troops each month. We have always looked forward to eating there and one of our favorites has been the Pecan Blue Salad with the maple vinaigrette dressing. We were all very disappointed today when we saw that their menu has changed once again and favorites are missing, including the meat loaf which one friend commented was her husband’s favorite and a favorite wrap was missing from the new menu. I ordered a burger with “kettle chips.” I thought they would be their usual homemade chips but to my dismay they were obviously bagged chips. Looks like we’ll have to find a new luncheon home next month.

We enjoyed a very pleasant dinner with family. Excellent service and food.

We had our daughters bridal shower here on 7/23/16 and it went beyond a wonderful experience! We had so many compliments on the INCREDIBLE service, the tasty food and the immaculately clean and pretty venue. Michelle, the catering manager was the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She was responsive, courteous, friendly and dedicated to fulfilling every tiny detail that we threw at her to make our event special! We are beyond grateful!! Charlie, our head server was always attentive and on-spot with everything and Biani(?) our waitress, the same...also always with a friendly smile even though they never, ever stopped running! There was also a lovely girl there who did our omelette station (so many of them to do!) and she was so friendly. It was truly an amazing experience and our guests definitely let us know they thought it was wonderful too!

No reason to go back!!! Went for the Fish Fry, oh my gosh horrible.. Fried to hard.. Asked for seconds b/c you were only given three small pieces to start when it was listed as All you can eat . Thought the second batch would be better, NOPE!! You got two more pieces as if you were a child eating not an adult. We ordered Chicken Tenders for an Appetizer. I kid you not they were a kid portion.. New Management!! Yeah right!!!

The food is good. The only problem is they have 1 waitress working the dining room, about 20 tables. Once you get your order, you will have a hard time getting the waitress again.

I went there this Saturday and had a nice time on a double date with our kids. If thats not enough the waiter and servers treated us very well. Even brought out a last minute Birthday treat for my son.

The party I attended was great. The room was nicely decorated and the staff were very friendly.

On May 5th 2018, I attended a prom send off for my friend that was booked at this establishment and paid for. From the moment we arrived, the manager was blatantly rude and racist towards the everyone who attended. Everyone there was respectful and was not causing any trouble. There were simply there to celebrate. Majority of the crowd were: teenagers, parents, friends and family members of the two individuals going on prom. The manager was out of order and he did some things on purpose to get a reaction out of us, but he didn’t get it. We had our own music there and instead of asking us, he came and turned down the music himself. He also started to remove items that were bought for the prom send off. He was doing all of this to try to start chaos. He called the police and told us we had to leave. However, when the police arrived, they simply could not understand what the problem was. All they saw was young kids who were celebrating their friends going off to prom. There was no threat to the manger or the establishment. To be honest it was just too many African Americans for him. The manager was disrespectful towards my friend who was going on prom. The manager was getting all his in face telling him he needed to move and go out there! While his father, a Pastor and another gentlemen, tried to fix the situation. However, he wouldn’t cooperate with the parents to figure out a way to handle the problem. I’ve never in my life seen racism at this magnitude. The blatant disrespect towards the parents and the young teenagers and everyone who attended was very inappropriate for a business manager and it was very obvious that he did not want our kind there. Thank you the Bolingbrook Police Department who step in and we’re calm and understanding, unlike the manager, that it was just a family-friend get-together of two young people going on their high school prom and just being themselves and having fun and the Manager of this place tried to destroy that!!!!!!!

Considering this is just a pub, their prices are much too high for meals and drinks. One bartender to cover full bar AND restaurant area, so service tends to be slow.

I attended a prom send off that was booked and paid for on 5/5/18 and for 2 hours......The manager was clearly racist and rude towards the entire crowd which mostly consisted of high school kids and their parents and grandparents. He didn’t want to honor the contract and was disrespectful to everyone every chance he got(saying (you people) have to leave before our 2 hours that was paid for was up, bring us dirt glasses(saying well next time bring your own glasses) as well as telling elderly handicap women to get the hell out the bathroom) not to mention the entire crowd of people were all church folk and kids who sing for the souls children of Chicago(a gospel singing group for kids). Like this guy really called the police on the souls children of Chicago....the parents tired to talk to him as calm as possible to solve the situation before the police were called and the police told him he had to honor the contract. The police were even telling the parents the guy was racist. Like it’s 2018.... things like this shouldn’t be happening.... it’s pretty ridiculous because he almost ruined these two kids prom with his antics. Thanks to the Bolingbrook police department for keeping things peaceful and forcing the Manger to honor the contract.
