Car broke down yesterday (Sunday) and we are new to the area with no garage established yet. We were working on it! Facebook post has multiple recommendations to take car here. So we took a chance and had it towed to the garage. Needed new alternator. Contacted them the next morning. They were able to fit it in their schedule and have it ready early afternoon for pick up! They were amazing and a blessing in a stressful situation. The staff is amazing and so friendly. Im happy to say we officially found our new garage! 😁

This is my go-to auto service in Bolingbrook. The guys here are nothing but polite and professional. A little pricey but you get what you paid for. They give you a warranty on what they fixed and always are very accommodating.

I had an Allen wrench in my tire. The crew was about to go home when I showed up. They stayed and fixed my tire fast. And a good price too. I just found my new to go place for repairs. Thank you for being there for me.

I have been using GTM now for over 2 years. Originally I went to them because they are close to my home, so I can walk back to my place after dropping my car. I have been VERY pleased with their service. They are fast, honest, and fair. Can’t ask for much more when I comes to auto repair shops.

Great, honest service at a fair price.

I had an oil leak. They found the leak and gave me an estimate of the cost and time it will take to repair. They gave me transportation to get home rather than waiting there. When I went back to pick it up Mark explained what they did. They also warranty their work and stand behind it. I have been going to GTM for many years and as long as I live here they will continue to get my business.

I took my Honda in today for a repair and Fred was awesome. He explained the issue and how much it would cost. He also told me about another issue that needed attention but not urgent. I really appreciated his professionalism and knowledge. Anthony did a great job and had the car ready in a couple of hours. My family has been taking their vehicles to GTM since 2013. They have an exceptional track record with our vehicles. Once an issue is repaired it’s done. I highly recommend GTM.

Very Happy with the Great Customer service and work that was done on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. Mark and his staff went the extra mile to make sure the repairs to our van were done and that everything was to our satisfaction. Mark kept us informed as to what needed to be done and even offered us a loaner if we needed it. Cant say enough about GTM and the way they treat their customers. I Highly recommend GTM.

Great, fast and honest service. Went to the dealer and told me I need to replace the power belt because it’s showing cracking and signs of wear and tear. When GMT technician checked it he said the belt is in good condition without any signs of wear and tear. I would bring my car here all the time for any service. Nice to have such a good honest mechanic close to home.

This is the best place for repairs, the prices are just right, I highly recommend. I have been bring in my cars since 3 years ago when I found this place, the service is great and of course prices are right.

Very high price for a simple job.6 months later, the hose fell off of the item they “fixed”Very disappointing!Luckily when I had it fixed again, my new mechanic fixed it for $100 versus the $500 they charged me.

I stopped in this morning to get the rear brakes serviced on my car based off a recommendation. I took my car here and had them inspect the brakes, they came back and said theres plenty of life left on the brakes. Showed me everything and recommended rear tires (were down to the wear strip). They would not sell me the brakes and did not recommend it. Although I did not get tires today, I will be back. These are honest honorable people, I will be back in the future to get my car serviced from them. Thank you very much guys!

Fred is Hillarious, and he also walks you step by step, to wats going on with ur vehicle. He showed me the damaged parts and explained in DETAIL, About everything pertaining to my problem..... Bottom line he got the job done. I love his spirit, and they are a TRUE TEAM!. THIS WILL NE MY NEW MECHANICS.

I was leaving for a fishing trip about 7 hours away and had a low tire. Stopped by GTM at the recommendation of a friend and, while repairing the tire, the guys discovered a radiator leak that I suspected I had for quite a while but my own mechanic said did not exist not two days prior. They needed 4 1/2 - 5 hours to replace and right about that time later and for a fair price I rolled out and made it to my destination that evening. I didnt catch a musky that trip though so Ill have to talk to GTM and see if thats covered under warranty.Definitely a 5 star company!Chris

Been going here for years. Great service. Theyve told me a few times that I DIDNT need repairs done when others said I did. Once told me my battery would be under warranty so it would be cheaper to go through the dealer than through them. Only once made an error but corrected immediately and gave me a free oil change next time. Great to have a reliable mechanic like this

Wonderful service! I stopped by late in the afternoon, they diagnosed the brake issue on my VW 2002 Passat, ordered the parts needed for the repair, and had my car ready by noon the following day. Their work is top quality and very thorough. Highly recommended.

I live out of state and was in Bolingbrook, IL on vacation when my vehicle developed a problem. GTM Automotive was the closest shop I could find that had at least 4 stars and after taking my vehicle in there to get repaired, I can see why they have such a high rating! My experience was fantastic. It was ultra fast, fixed correctly and very reasonably priced for the repairs. They had me back on the road in no time! If Im ever up here again and develop car issues, I know the first place I will call.

Very happy with my experiences here. Im now a two year customer. I took my car in for an exhaust leak last year. After the initial service, my vehicle developed another issue that required a costly service immediately after. Ill admit that I thought that it was too soon to be coincidence, and thought I had been scammed. After speaking with the owner and explaining the situation, he agreed to handle the second repair for no labor charge. One year later, my car developed another exhaust leak. I scheduled an appointment, and they handled the repair in one day, completely under warranty. I appreciate a company that will stand by their work, and will go the extra mile by mailing in rebates/warranties, etc. I will be back for my future car needs, and will happily refer others here.

They are great they work on all my cars. They fix what needs fixing and the explain what else you car is in need. NOT scamers like other shops ! They got me as a loyal costumer for life.

Fair and honest guys.

Had an estimate done on a muffler repair. The quote was ridiculously overpriced. I went and had work done elsewhere for less than 1/3 of the price. Wont be going back as Im sure other services will be just as expensive

I had some exhaust work done about 6 months ago. I heard some noise, brought it in. They quickly looked at it and showed me the problem. They were quick, responsive, and very helpful.

Been taking my older truck here for years. They do great work and are always very fair. Never feel cheated by them.

I brought in my car for basic maintenance.Next thing I know is my engine light is on.I bring it back. I ask to look at it in while they are inspecting my carNo! No! no you cant come in. Five minutes later owe now I can come in here and look at it. Five minute ago you sent back like a bomb was going to blow. Now a few minutes later hey come right in. Odd to me. My car engine was destroyed. I suspected foul play. I was vocall about it. One of the other workers couldnt even look me in the eye. When I was saying how upset I was about someone tampered with my car. Cannot prove but strongly suspectThey tampered with my car. Now my engine is destroyed

Usually I get my oil changed at Hyndai for $27.95. I recently started going to Bob & Todds in Bolingbrook where I pay $31.00. I trust Bob & Todds and they are much closer than Hyundai. They were too busy to do my change this last time and because I was long over due I went to GTM. I had a coupon for $24.95 but when I got the bill it was for $36.00. The excuse was it took an extra half quart of oil and my filter was larger. I mustve had sucker written on my face to fall for it especially with a coupon.

Fantastic people working here, and seriously the most honest and fair auto mechanics Ive ever dealt with.
