I went to Boca TV & Stereo Repair a month and two weeks ago with a Panasonic TV set that was not turning on. I brought the TV in, paid the $30 Non- Refundable fee and they said they would call me back to tell me the problem. Three days go by and they didnt contact me, so I contacted them. They answered the phone and told me that it was a faulty power converter and told me the price to fix it, which was fine by me, and I agreed to it.A week goes by and no contact has been made to me, so I wait until Monday and I contact them again to see what was going on, They said they had to order a part on back order. I was ok with waiting so I wait another week. They dont contact me again so I decided to wait for the weekend again and contact them again Monday, I got the same answer. This goes on for a month and two weeks where I contact them every following Monday because they never contact me.I let two weeks go by to where I did not contact them and decided if they dont call me by then Im taking my TV back. Sure enough, they never contacted me.So I went to the store and asked for my TV back, and asked if they had the ordering form for the part.....They never ordered it.Basically what they told me was that there are too many customers for him to keep track of and a service like mine was not worth the money to prioritize. And that Ordering parts take this long all the time. I told him I was not concerned about how long it ultimately took, but the fact I have received poor customer service, and that the lack of effort to even contact me shows you do not care about your customers. He then asked me what my job was because He wanted to see if I even knew how these stores operate I told him Ive had electronics repaired all the time at varies intervals ranging from weeks to months, and theyve always tried to contact me. I asked if I would be able to receive my $30 back, in which he scoffed No very quickly.I dont know how these people will remain in business with such poor customer service at such prices. TVs are cheap enough to be replaced if the customer feels its not worth putting up with the hassle.

These people will take you to the cleaners! First there is a $50 non refundable charge just to look at what you want fixed. They say it will be applied to your bill if you choose to let them fix it, but when you get their estimate you will see that you just lost $50! I had a small console record player that I paid $30 for at a thrift store. It had a small tube amplifier that powered it and everything was working, the only problem was when you tried to switch the speed on the turntable it would only stay on one speed. They called back with the estimate..$350!!!! I told them that was insane, and the lady on the phone asked me if I was just going to leave it with them? Yeah, I paid $30 for it, then I gave them $50 to look at it, and now that I am $70 into it, they were wondering if I was just going to leave it with them! SOME NERVE! After picking up my turntable from these crooks and taking it back home, I plugged it in and found that now it did not work at all! The tubes on the amplifier were no longer firing up and now the turntable would not even spin! When I called them back to tell them that it was not even working at all now, the guys reply was that he could hear a loud clank as I threw it in the back of my car and thats probably why it wasnt working!!! That was just a lie!!! I placed it carefully in the back of my car, and he was still in his store with the door closed and I was across the parking lot! I told him he must have bionic ears and he agreed that he did. These people have no cuth or customer service to speak of. The reviewer who gave them such a high review was either a friend or family member that gets realistic pricing and service. I cannot express enough how outrageously priced and rude stereo fixers are. So if you like throwing money down the drain, and love dealing with people that will try to put the blame on you...these are your people.

Ive had BOCA TV REPAIR perform several repairs .Now Samsung led/lcd TV, excellent service . Fair prices, quick and friendly. Will continue to recommend them to anyone in need of television repairs.
