Dr Roof is amazing. He saved my border collie Roxie from cancerous tumor 3 years ago. He currently sees my two dogs , my brothers dog and my moms fly’s in from Maryland for her two dogs to see Dr Roof. Everyone in the office is beyond friendly and helpful. They truly care about every animal they see and explain everything. And anytime my dogs have been sick they have always fit me in even if fully booked. Highly recommend Dr Roof and Dr Hughes of Pet Medical Center of Boca Raton.

We moved from Tamarac to Boca, so we had to look for a new vet for our beloved cat and Husky. I did a ton of research to find the best vet who was also affordable because our vet in Tamarac was absolutely amazing and we accept nothing less for our boys. I was so impressed with Dr Hughes and the staff are great. They’re affordable compared to other vets in Boca.Professional, personable, and affordable. Highly recommend!

I took my dog to see Dr. Roof as she was having many health issues. He was so compassionate with her and when I had to make the difficult decision to put her to sleep, Dr. Roof and his staff were so amazing, kind and supportive through the entire thing. I chose this facility because I was able to go inside with my pet and Im so glad I did. An amazing doctor and staff. Ive since brought my other dog to see him too. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

I lost my beautiful pup 3 weeks ago and I cannot tell you the compassion I felt in this office at the most difficult time of my life. Before he passed Dr Tim tried so hard to see what we could do to save him. They were kind, compassionate and empathetic. I wish I had found them sooner. I highly recommend this Vet and his competent office staff.

My experience at Pet Medical Center was amazing from start to finish. I took my cat Stella there for a teeth cleaning since my regular vet was closed because of COVID.Coming in as a new client was easy. Sarah and Will at the front desk helped me with everything I needed. The office was clean and sanitized, and all proper social distancing measures were in place. They scheduled appointments in such a way that the waiting room was practically empty, although their exam rooms were full.In addition, Dr. Roof is a gem! He was so calm and gentle with Stella and and answered all my questions. He did end up having to extract one of Stellas teeth, but was 100% transparent about pricing from the beginning (no hidden costs, told me an extraction may be needed from the beginning, and relayed costs ahead of time).I recommend this vet to anyone. You will receive excellent customer service and receive no surprises on your bill.

If you are looking for a vet that has the health of your pet in mind and is not money driven in, PET MEDICAL CENTER is where you should take your babies. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Both of the doctors are just incredible.

We recently had a procedure performed by Dr Roofto remove a growth from Onyx’s neck. The procedure was very expensive. There was a similar growth on his left shoulder just beneath the other growth. One would assume the dr would remove the other growth at the same time, or at least give as a choice, instead he cleaned his teeth while he was sedated . We are now considering another Vet to finish the job and remove the second growth which will cost us another large fee. We have been going there since 2014.

I’ve brought my cat there since I found her as a kitten. The doctors are both sweet guys. At first I was turned off by them pushing their insurance plans on me but after examining them & the cost, it made sense. I took the silver plan & it included spaying which accounted for half my plans yearly cost. Definitely worth it. Every visit & treatment after that was also included. After my year was up I decided to renew. I like the peace of mind that if my cat suddenly gets sick, my appointment is free. Plus all needed upcoming shots are included. I’d definitely recommend.

I have been going to Pet Medical Center of Boca since they opened in 2016. Dr. Roof has been caring for my frenchie now for the past 5 years and it has been everything from allergies to eye issues. The plan has come in very handy for my frenchie baby. I also had a cat that was older and Dr. Roof did not recommend the plan for him since he wouldn’t be going to see him as often as my Frenchie. I cannot tell you enough how amazing this veterinary office is!! They are very thorough and never tried to up sell or do unnecessary services. I also work with a couple of rescues and they also have been taking their animals to them for various services from neuters to check ups. I had another frenchie who was attacked and scared of people, Dr roof and his staff did not force the animal to be touched or held if it was not needed. Dr roof & Dr Hughes take care of all of our friends and families pets. They are all so caring and compassionate and I highly recommend them if your looking for amazing veterinary care for your fur babies.

The Pet Medical Center of Boca Raton is the best Vet Clinic ever. Dr. Roof, Dr Hughes and their entire staff are caring, compassionate people and they know their stuff! There is never a long wait. You are taken into the examining room with your pet immediately. The doctor sits on the floor with your pet and plays with them for a moment, totally relieving any anxiety or stress my dog may have. The doctors are gentle but thorough and they do not rush you. They answer all and any questions you may have and the cherry on top is that their prices are very fair. They even waive the $45 office visit for new clients! I refuse to take my dogs anywhere else!

Dr. Roof and his staff are wonderful! One of my dogs needed surgery, and after asking around at other vets, Dr. Roof gave me the most reasonable and affordable estimate. He performed the surgery the following day, and now my dog is perfect, happy and healthy again. I left my previous, over-priced vet, and switched to Pet Medical Center. Both of my dogs are happy and healthy, and services are very affordable. Dr. Roof explains very patiently everything, never tries to overcharge or do unnecessary procedures, and he’s extremely skilled and knowledgeable. I’m so happy I found them!

Our first visit to this office and we were so happy to take our baby there. Dr. Hughes told us every thing about what was happening. We didnt have a vet since we moved here and so we didnt know what to expect. Staff is also great and costs were very fair. NO pressure to do additional treatment. Went home happy!

I cant say enough great things about this place! Everyone was super professional, friendly, and willing to address any concerns I had about bringing in my 12 year old cat for his first vet visit in forever. Dr. Hughes was very gentle and extremely helpful. I have found my new vet! Prices were extremely reasonable and service was prompt. The fact that they have 41 google reviews and only one isnt 5-star should tell you all you need to know about Pet Medical Center. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

We have switched vets many times because we have moved a lot. After my dog Dexter tore his knee ligament my mom recommended I bring him to see Dr. Roof at Pet Medical Center of Boca. I am so happy I did. Their prices are super reasonable. Dr. Roof’s approach his very compassionate.The whole office staff is so friendly. They made me and Dex feel like family. I have never been to a more caring veterinary practice.

This place is amazing! Staff is so friendly and accommodating. It is very easy to tell that everyone really cares about your pets health. The facility was extremely clean and bright. Dr. Hughes is so kind and was very detailed in his explanations and follow up calls.

We took LILO to see Dr Hughes last week. I felt that he was very caring and passionate. We took Lilo back today for a dental procedure. Dr Hughes called us right after the procedure to let us know that LILO was done and recovering. Everyone at the office was super nice and very helpful. With 3 dogs and 3 cats Im sure we will be back before too long.

I found Dr Hughes to be the most pleasant doctor ever! Very prompt, sat on the floor with my little Gi-Gi , took his time explaining everything and prices are great! I will definitely keep him as my doctor!

I am so grateful to Dr. Roof and his nurse, Bianca, who literally got out of their cars and reopened the office to take care of my dog who, I thought, swallowed something. I had never been to their office before and they cared enough to help and provide the care my boy needed....on a SUNDAY!!! Dr. Roof took a lot of time with Frankie to be sure he was ok to send home, even though he was already in his car and done for the day. So grateful for him and Bianca 🐾🐾

Dr. Hughes is by far the nicest, most understanding, informative vet Ive ever taken my furry daughter to. He spent a substantial amount of time with me discussing my fear of heartworm meds and I cant say how much I appreciate that. He doesnt push meds, vaccines or tests at all and I feel very comfortable trusting him with my girls care. His fees are very reasonable and the office spotless. The staff there is also wonderful. A big thumbs up!Update: I dont think this is a horrible vet clinic but the doctors refuse to get on the phone with you, even if youve been there recently for a visit and spent a ton of money. They insist you come in for another visit when you just have a question or two. I also think they just dont seem to care enough. There is much needed room for improvement. Prices are reasonable and doctors are polite though. I think my furry daughter and I will continue to look around for a better fit.

They will be nice if you spend your money, otherwise they will treat like nothing. bad customer service. if you call 300 times, 300 times they will give you different information. stay away from them. if you live in broward call to broward county animal care. They have affordable prices and they really care about your pet.
