I cannot say enough great things about this shop. The staff is kind, educated, and engaging. The store is well maintained and has a great selection, including some lovely PRS Guitars (PRS makes amazing guitars!). Had an older Fender Princeton Chorus amp that was DOA and needed some work. Backstage Music brought her back to life!!!! She sounds amazing... and the work was done at a really fair price! I highly recommend Backstage Music.

Backstage repaired my cavaquinho (a small 4 string Brazilian instrument) recently. At first I thought they weren’t even going to be familiar with that instrument but they knew all about it and guaranteed they’d have it fixed. A few days later my cavaquinho looked as good as new, they even replaced the strings which I’d typically order online. Excellent service and kind people!

My son needed to learn jazz guitar, and we sought out Backstage for assistance. We are so pleased with the expertise of the staff and their flexibility to meet his busy schedule. He also plays trombone and recently needed a trombone repair with a tight window due to an upcoming performance. The staff beat our deadline with a quick and professional turnaround. In a world of online shopping, its nice to know that true customer service still exists!

Backstage came to our rescue. Our daughters tenor sax was badly damaged and she desperately needed it for her schools upcoming musical. Backstage drove it down to the repair person in Fort Lauderdale and it was repaired and returned within a very short period of time. We are incredibly grateful for their willingness and ability to get it done so quickly. The instrument is as good as new and you would never know there had been a serious problem. Thank you!!

Great place for musicians and students alike. You will find here q great music store with pricing competitive with internet retailers. You will also find an experienced staff there to help with your selection.Beyond instrument sales you will find great music teachers. I have two children studying there and they are the fastest advancing students in their school bands and orchestra. Both kids have developed a love for music and therefore are creative and having fun , and they dont consider practicing a chore. My children are playing songs and learning the music theory behind their instruments, and their school music teachers have consistently extolled their virtues.In conclusion I assure you that if your children are so inclined you will find the experience and inspiration invaluable and irreplaceable.Barry

Small store with limited quantities of product. Although if they should run out of a product they are able to re-order any product you may need. The store was out of French Horn Standard Essential books but they were able to order one for us and have it available for pick up the very next day. Customer Service is great and prices are reasonable - received a text message from Backstage Music when the book arrived in store and was ready for pick up.

My 6 year old grandson enjoys his music classes, says it is so much fun as soon as he walks in. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff, could not ask for better instructors.

Awesome place to take your kids for music lessons. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable. They greet every customer with a big smile and a warm hello. Their rental rates are very reasonable and its an easy stress free process.

My daughters ukulele was missing a screw up top. I had already run to Lowes and Home Depot to no avail. After 3 minutes in the store the ukulele was repaired, I was on my way. Much appreciated! You made this Dad look good.

Was looking to purchase a ukulele and they did a great job providing me with information to make the right choice and set me up with lessons. I absolutely cant say enough great things about Backstage Music! Jackie & John always have what we need in stock. All of the instructors have accommodating schedules & my son is progressing by leaps & bounds in piano & tenor sax. They have the best lil furry cutie to greet u when you walk in! So much better than Sam Ashe!!!

I went here for lessons during my middle school years, and now almost graduating college, I am glad to see Backstage still greet you with kindness as you walk in. They are there for you and work their hardest to see that you succeed. They treat you like family.

Went there for advice and potentially a new guitar and the girl who helped us was more than knowledgeable and friendly. Gave great advice and showed us around the guitars. Love the place and experience!

I’m seeing all of these fantastic reviews, yet my guitar I took in came out of the setup in about the same condition than before, except with new strings. There are still issues like fret buzz and a faulty bridge pickup. The action was set up inconsistently, with my high E string choking out when I bend it higher than a half step. I’d never try to talk down on a small business like this, but this was just the case. With my poor review being an anomaly however, I’m sure that my guitar was a fluke or a bad day for the tech. No disrespect or hard feelings towards him.

This place has Been very helpful, they give good lessons to kids and is a great environment for family and learning, I suggest buying your instruments from them

Went there to get my violin tuned. The ladies there went above and beyond in helping me. 10/10 would recommend this place.

I took my chronically broken French horn in for a repair and it came out playing beautifully. I have been to other music stores and had gotten repairs done but my horn always fell apart again afterwards. I think this time it will be fixed for good.

Lessons here are absolutely wonderful. Everyone here is helpful and polite. I couldnt imagine going anywhere else.
