Im thrilled to see that The Formulas treatment plan combine therapy, nutritional coaching, customized fitness plans and life skills. I firmly believe to successfully overcome substance abuse and mental health issues treatment needs to be focused on total wellness –healing the body and mind together. I wish there had been a facility like The Formula back in 2011 when I first got sober. After admitting myself into rehab and attending AA meetings regularly there was something missing. I was simply surviving my life by staying sober but I wasnt really living. The missing piece came together for me when I began incorporating fitness, nutrition, and meditation into my life. I found that a balance between mental and physical health enabled me to create a life where addiction no longer fit. It took me a long time to figure this out and I am so happy that there is now a facility that teaches these practices first and foremost.
