My computer running XP finally died, and I needed a used or refurbished one to replace it. I could not spend the money on a new computer. I called Computer Medic based on his wonderful reviews. I was very impressed by his gentle and considerate manner, because courtesy is very high on my list of standards when choosing a vendor or contractor. I told Ronald I would bring my computer to him, but he instead suggested he come to my home so that he could make sure everything was satisfactory and running smoothly. He set up the PC and gave me a brief tour Windows 10.I had to call him a few times to ask questions after everything was installed, and he was gracious and professional.I highly recommend Ronald and his company.

I was disappointed with Computer Medic On Call. Things went awry on multiple fronts.I emphasized in previous correspondence that I needed to minimize time without my computer (its my only computer -- this cant be a rare trait of their customers). They showed little respect for that, or for my time in general. For example, yesterday, I was told I needed to bring the computer by so that they could doublecheck which battery needed to be ordered. I thought that meant I would show up, they take a quick look (perhaps open up a panel), then send be back home with my computer, and call me when the new battery arrives and theyre ready to do the repair.I said Id come by late morning. I called when I arrived because I couldnt find the location, and was told to drop the computer off. Huh, I thought? I explained I cant be without my computer for a couple hours. Response: I wont be there for a couple hours.So I asked the guy to contact me when he got back to the store.That was yesterday. Still no call or email. One wasted drive to a computer store.I would not recommend this company.

I called on Computer Medic awhile back for assistance. My laptop was running very slow. This call was very late in the evening and he picked up and was able to fix the problem. He logged into my computer remotely. He ran test and fixed the problem. My computer had viruses. He explained where I picked up these viruses. I recently called him again for another issued. My computer was not recognizing my external hard drive. Again this call was on a weekend. He ran tests and the end result was my external hard drive is bad. He recommended me to unplug the hard drive and will help me transfer my information to my new hard drive when I buy it. Bottom line, I like the service provided and he was very knowledgeable.
