Wow where to begin with these people? I guess when we signed our lease and were fooled by the fake professionalism John showed. Thinking we were in good hands we signed, BIG mistake. Weve lived under their management for 3 years and the amount of maintenance issues that have occurred in that time are unccountable! From clicking sounds in our ceiling to a rusted out air conditioner they refuse to replace giving us the run around of theyd have to contact the building owner. Not only that, but a main water line backup that occurred four different times, flooding my bathroom and kitchen with fecal matter and eventually mold growing on top of it. When we requested PROFFESIONALS to be sent to clean and sanitize they sent their untrained maintenance guy who pretty much just spread bleach around and did not clean it whatsoever. I questioned him, pointing out the obvious buildup still clearly visible, and he said yeah, theyre gonna need to send proffesionals. Then he left and we never heard from them again, blatantly ignoring our new requests to actually fix our problem, even their maintenance guy said They dont want to spend any money to fix anything. Well it couldnt be any more obvious, given the washing machine thats been out of service for almost a year now even with different tenants moving in and out. Im not the only one here with issues like these, i speak with the other tenants and they have similar problems in their units as well... will anything be done? Probably not. But will they continue to jack up rent prices and include all utilities, without a doubt. Save your money, save yourself the stress, and sign with someone else. Trust me, dont be fooled like I was, youll be stuck in a living nightmare!

Steel valley homes has done an awesome job managing my property! John is very understanding and willing to work with you. They work hard to care for our property with us being out of state landlords and do their best to keep the tenant happy. I cannot say enough nice things about them!

John and his staff are very professional and seem to manage higher end apartments throughout Boardman and other nearby cities. Just a quick tip it’s easier to set up an appointment directly through their website versus calling. I think they get a plethora of calls and this seems to be the best way from our experience. Also, all the tenants they have seem respectful and working professionals in the area. Just my two cents.

Great overall experience. The properties were all clean, my unit and all of the units I was shown had new appliances, new carpet and new paint. The pricing is spot on. I could not be more pleased. The entire rental process was simple. And my neighbors all seem to be good people. Very pleased.

Make sure you check the fine print, was told it was a one year lease, got talked into signing a two with the promise of being able to get out whenever, however they dont tell you you wont get your security deposit back until your ready to leave and out $700+.

Been a tenant here for over three years all of a sudden i get a notice to be out in thirty days because they want to remodel and taise the rent over 200 dollars not to mention i have a child and had to come up with the expenses to move in a matter of three weeks this company is ignorant and could careless about anything when somthing breaks dont expect anything to be fixed they rent to section 8 and could careless about the activity that goes on! DO NOT RENT from these people!!!
