I wanted to fly into Blythe airport and asked if the rental car company would pick me up at the airport. Yes they would, for a $75 gate fee. All of this for 7 miles right down Interstate 10? NO WAY!

I rented a car recently for three days. It was a family emergency. Thankfully A1 had one available. It was kind of mud splattered and dented on the outside and the inside was not to clean but we really needed a car. we took pictures of both the inside and outside for our protection.Before we returned said car we ran it through a full service car wash. on returning the car we were given a $20.80 credit refund after an employee checked the car over.About a week later I discovered a $100.00 unauthorized debit from A1 car Rental on my bank statement. I called the Co. and was assaulted verbally about smoking and leaving the car covered with chocolate.I contacted My Bank to get the charges reversed. The bank manager called and was told cigarette buts etc. were found under the seat.I have COPD, critical and acute From the description she got I would have either been dead or at least ended up in the hospital.Since we failed to take pictures under the seats I am out $100.00I have no idea how or if this actually happened. We didnt take pictures and neither did theySO my advice to potential customers is take pictures and protect yourself.
