Tony arrived 30 minutes after I called. Very professional individual with outstanding leadership skills. He towed me into West Virginia then back into Virginia to get some parts and helped me out in a pinch in a parking lot. I would highly recommended Bland Street Auto Center to anyone in the area! We had our car overheat on a Saturday evening on the expressway and Bland street auto came to our rescue. The tow truck driver was Very helpful and courteous. Our vehicle was repaired Monday morning and held for us to pick up on Friday. Overall an excellent experience.

All the staff I dealt with were courteous and professional. The service provided was to repair a tire that had a slow leak and preform a WV state inspection. They took me in without an appointment and preformed the services while I waited and completed it within the estimated time they gave me. This was my first visit but I will certainly use Bland Street Auto Center again.

Quoted a price and had to pay more than double after completed service. Also tried to upsell my with more service that wasnt needed. Took 4 to 5 hours for a job that should of been done under 2 hours.

Absolute best shop I’ve EVER been to. We broke down on our way back from Niagara Falls, NY. Wheel bearing was fried. They got us picked up with their 24/7 towing service. They got us back on the road by noon the next day. They even picked us up for free to get our vehicle when it was done being fixed. 100% honest and most affordable shop we’ve been to on the road. Had work done 3 days went by started leaking from the exact same spot would replace part for another new one but still wanted to charge for labour again

Their wrecker with Tony showed up to handle my crisis which was a flat tire. Then I went to garage where they repaired my problem of corroded valve stems and sensors in tires. They explained fully, and replaced in a timely manner. I drive from Roanoke to get them to take care of many problems such as replacing tires.

I cannot recommend Bland Street enough. Recently my car would not start and another mechanic at another shop tried to take advantage of the fact that I was a young woman inexperienced with cars. They tried to sell me an engine rebuild, but Bland Street Auto looked at my vehicle and gave me a second opinion and told me what was truly wrong with my car. They were upfront, honest, and did not try to take advantage of me. The manager Wes was extremely kind and made me feel like a valued customer. They had my vehicle fixed in less than 24 hours and were incredibly responsive in their communications with me. If you are looking for a mechanics shop that is reliable and honest, Bland Street is the place for you.

I was towed in from the I-77 interstate with a broken serpentine belt. We arrived 25 minutes before closing time. They were willing to look at it, and then fixed it, putting me back on the road in less than 30 minutes.I am TOTALLY pleased with this shop and recommend it to anyone!

Towed my truck in with broken window, locked in their storage yard and did not cover open hole. Stray cat made home for the night. The time of arrival was great in get my vehicle, but once they took possession did not take care of the problems of open, broken or missing glass to guard from animals.

Sorry service get quoted one price by the time its over its some crazy ridiculous price! Then they offer services that arent even required just to rob you. Just horrible do not take your vehicle there.

Gave me the runaround for almost 2 weeks. Took my Ranger in to have the slave cylinder replaced. I was told by the tech that they would start on it the next day, and then I could pick it up the day after that. So when I didnt hear from them, I called, and was told the guy who does that had been out sick. Fine, so I was quoted a couple more days. Well, driving by, I could see that my vehicle had not moved since it was towed in. I called in and was told they would work on it Saturday, and it would be ready Monday. Guess what? Monday came, the car had not moved. I went in and spoke to a manager who apologized, but had no explanations for their complete lack of communication. He told me it would be ready by end of week. Then they called me in a couple of days to come pick up. When I came in, they said, great news, the slave cylinder was fine, just needed to be bled, cost me $77. I paid and left, highly sceptical of this, but happy the truck was driveable. Well, all the hydraulic fluid leaked out of the bad slave cylinder, and left me stranded again. So two weeks, a wasted $77, I took it to another shop. Guess what? Slave cylinder was bad. Replaced in two days for less than Bland quoted me, and still running strong. Give this shop a miss if you expect to know whats going on with your repair, and/or want it actually fixed.

I was traveling to Ohio via 77 and noticed that I had a bad spot on my rear tire at rest area. I called Bland Auto and I told him that I needed a tire for my van and was on a tight time schedule. They got me a tire delivered before I got to the store and rotated/ changed two tires in less than 45 minutes. Good quality tires at competitive price. Highly recommend them for service.

Had some work done on my truck and needed to pick up my granddaughter from school and they provided me one of their personal vehicles to pick her up until my work was completed. Took my truck there a year ago. Took a month & a half and $1000 later I got it back. Month later I was back cause it didnt seem to be fixed at all! They said they fixed it the first time and there was nothing more they could do! My truck has set in my drive way Broke Down since! Yeah they fixed it alright... Id never take Nothing to that Place!!!

So had a stoke of misfortune and had my fuel pump go out on 77 just crossing over from Virginia to West Virginia. I got towed to this shop and they were quick to identify the problem, provide a solution, and give an estimate. The part was not readily available but John and his team were able to expedite the shipping and it got hand delivered. I was back on the road way faster than I thought was possible. The cost (which was close to other quotes from just talking around) was well worth the value of service provided by Bland Street Auto Center.

This place is great! The guys at Bland Street Auto couldnt be nicer, and they get the job done quickly and efficiently. I was on a multi-state car trip when the alternator started failing on my car, and I worried about getting the repair done en route. Thanks to Bland Street Auto -- recommended by AAA when I was freaking out in my hotel room -- the alternator was replaced with no problems. (They even let me bring my two dogs into the waiting room at the shop.) Cant say enough good things about the people who work here. They treated me with respect and kindness when I was in trouble, and helped me get back on the road again. Highly recommended.

Beware! This place was recommended to us from someone at the college my son attends. So we trusted the information and called this company to have the car repaired. We were told the car needed a new engine and repairs would cost a little over $3K we agreed to have it fixed in WV, instead of having the car towed back to our home in MD. The car was at the shop from December 2018 until January 21, 2019. We called once every two weeks to check on the status of the car and each time was given a different reason as to why the car was not ready. January 19th, we called and was told the car was finally ready. We drove back to WV from our home in MD to pick up the car and was planning on making a few stops in VA. We were headed to Salem, VA and the car began leaking fluids. We called Bland Street Auto and was told to take it to a shop in Salem, VA and they would come and tow the vehicle back to their shop and would let us know when it was ready. We called every week from January 21st until February 12th and was told the car was finally ready. We picked up the car on February 18th and began to head back to MD. However, as we started driving, the car began leaking fluid again. Called the shop and was told to bring the car back and while waiting around for a few hours was told the issue was fixed. We headed back to MD and now the car is gushing fluids, we called Bland Street Auto and was told by the person on the phone to take it to a shop in Laurel, MD. Once we made it to the shop, we called and the owner of Bland Street Auto gets on the phone and tells us they are not responsible for the damages of the vehicle. We now have the car in MD at the place in which we were told to bring the car and now waiting on the diagnosis of the issue of the car. Bland Street Auto Shop is a straight rip-off and really need to stand behind their work or if they dont know what they are doing, say that. We are really disappointed in how this was handled and out over $3k. Disappointing! Disheartening!

AAA referred them when my granddaughters car broke down. I had it towed to them. I was first told may be a fuel filter, then I was told no it was the timing belt, after that I was called and told it was the fuel pump. The last call I received from them said it was the catalytic converter. The price increased with each phone call. I told them to leave it alone, they changed the spark plugs after that, I went got it and had it towed to another mechanic. Very disappointed in them especially since a preferred AAA shop. I am notifying AAA about my experience.
