Legally blind and unable to drive, I needed to get to and from St. Louis for a business trip in June 2021. I am grateful to have found The People Taxi. Jeff offered a safe, reliable, friendly and trustworthy transportation experience. I will use Peaps Taxi for future in and out of town trips. Recommending this Service for parents whose non-driving children need to get to or from college or anyone who needs to use public transportation.

Just great! I am a female truck driver and although Walmart is close I didnt feel safe to walk. The owner was friendly and didnt make me feel bad for having to go such a short distance. It allowed me to shop and get everything I need. I will be in the area often so I will be using the services again. It was strange calling and leaving a message. I was a bit skeptical (first time using this service) of him calling me back in minutes but he did!! Best taxi service around!

I used Peaps for the first time on yesterday, Oct 11, 2018 and it was a wonderful experience! He arrived in very a clean, fresh smelling, comfortable limousine and was on time if not before the expected scheduled time. I was alone and had not taken a taxi in years, but once I got in the cab and was met with sincere pleasantries and professionalism, I instinctively felt safe, and I ended up having a great conversation and laughs! All while getting me to my destination on time to pick up my car from the shop before they closed. I highly recommend this company! Great service! I called while at a wedding to arrange a ride home so that I could enjoy the wedding without worrying about driving. They were quick to respond, the price was very fair and they were there to pick me up right at my requested time! Enjoyed a great conversation on the way back to my hotel and got a great food recommendation as well which we tried in the morning. Great service and will definitely use them on our next trip to the area!

This cab company has given me a wonderful experience. They are always on time very clean vehicles. Very friendly they are my daily transportation to and from work. They always get me there on time and get here fast when I am ready to go home very reliable and rates are not through the roof. They differ in other taxi services because they actually seem to care about the people they are transporting and they make their passengers feel comfortable and welcome. I definitely recommend peaps over any uber lyft or Any other taxi service.

The guy was very nice and helpful at first. I used his services a couple times. Then he just said he would be there the next day and just never showed up. Wouldnt answer calls. I think a professional would have the courtesy to tell someone if he no longer was able to drive them rather than just not showing up or calling.

Great experience due to technical difficulties with my vehicle I called him and he was there within 10 minutes like he said he would be taking me to the parts. Place so I could continue my travels he was patient with all the places needed to go and the Conversation Throughout the trip was very good. I couldnt find my car keys. I needed to pick my daughter up from school and get the two of us to an appointment in Lees Summit. Peaps picked my daughter up within 10 minutes of my call, came and got me, and delivered the two of us to our final destination within 30 minutes of my initial call. Warm, friendly, prompt service in a clean, comfortable car provided by a local-family-owned business. I will definitely call on them again when I have a need.

Jeff with Peaps Taxi was a complete surprise. It’s been years since I’ve hired a taxi service, but last minute I found myself needing a ride to a concert in downtown Kansas City from Lee’s Summit. I first tried Uber (never used them before) and it kept scrolling looking for a driver, plus I needed a scheduled time. So I called Peaps due to their great reviews and the reviewers were right!! Jeff was great to travel with and was funny and kind. I was riding in style and I had Jeff pick me up too. It was front door service. I felt like a celebrity. Ha! I highly recommend Peaps Taxi service and will certainly use them again.

I waited over an hour after contacting two different services for a pick-up. One called back, which was my medical transportation and told me they would have no one until 7a.m. So you know this is at 12:37 a.m Im getting this info while Im waiting in ER lobby in a wheelchair in a lot of pain for a hour already. 2nd company yellow cab/10 10 taxi kept telling me to call back in 5 minutes.I finally start searching the internet for local drivers. Called one no answer, called second one and YES got an answer. Told me he would be there in 25 minutes tops and get got there in less than 25 minutes. Nurse and I were impressed it was a luxury comfortable seating car. The trip to my home was pleasant, courteous, family orientated and professional. I was given assistance with my walker and given encouraging well wishes. I called the ER when I got settled and told them how wonderful it was. They told he horror stories while I was there of discharge patients waiting for hour for a taxi, one even waited 13 hours. Im so blessed that good, safe service is still out there.

I was in a really tough spot and running late. I called around and no one else would even answer. Not only did they quickly answer but got to me and my destination rather quickly and super friendly. Really saved the day!!!

I hit a pothole on the interstate that blew my tire out. My son called this service to get me to a motel. Never have I been treated so kindly by a total stranger. Amazing!

Normally a decent service, however they dont answer when I called twice for a ride for a coworker in 4degree weather, no one should be walking in. Just a mile and a half drive but they left her hanging? That is why they get 3 stars.
