Honestly the best therapist for your kids/teens. She has a great way of connecting with them and getting kids to come out their shells. Great educational experience and her play therapy room has amazing toys!

Leslie is great with teens, little ones and their families. She gets them to open up and on a fast track to healing.

Well she had came recommended so I had an open mind about it. I felt good about our text and then she scheduled an appointment for us to come in and be seen. Well after i confirmed the appointment the day of , she responded with an obvious text that suggests that she was super busy and at my convince could schedule a phone call instead if it was best for me. I responded whatever works best for you. She responded yes a call would be easier and then pushed the call an hour past our scheduled time at that . The call lasted about an hour and a half . mostly just history and why i think my kids should be seen. No mention that I was veing charged for a phone call no mention of a later called intake call that she said runs at 120.00 per kid but my insurance cuts it to 50.00 per kid for Medicaid and Medicaid pays for it . so i already had a red flag by that statement of her complaint or stated fact that she doesnt get a full 120.00 . keep in mind the intake per child ran about 20 minutes of talking about each child with no mention of money or that it was infact an intake appointment. I was under the impression we were to be seen and talked with just earlier that day. Well moving on the next day or two after she had texted me saying that there was an issue with my insurance saying that it wasnt primary and that bcbs was primarily responsible. However , I assured her it is not and that id fix it asap. A few hours later she texted me asking had i done that yet . I responded with no I hadnt gotten the chance i was in the middle of a project for school to start and that i would do so in the morning . I woke up at 8am just a few minutes before actually and already had a text from her saying she had gotten the information for bcbs from Medicaid and billed them for the full amount on each child . I said i told you that wasnt my primary thats through their dads work im responsible for medical and it is primarily Medicaid. I was upset that did that before i had a chance to even wake up and call them to fix said problem. I mentioned that I hadnt even been given the chance to do so abc that it would have started issues between their father and I and asked why she didnt just wait for me as previously agreed apon. I was feeling like she was very unprofessional and raced me to it. So , she then replied by saying well i would have needed to know if you had two insurance anyways because they talk to each other like what she did was justified or blown off and disregard me all together then said i dont think were going to be able to do buisness together and i can refer you to another theripist if you like otherwise i wish you well. I was in shock! So i called the insurance . they stated Medicaid was primary and that the secondary one was bcbs like i said it was. So my take away from the entire thing from how she complained about not getting total cost because i had Medicaid to racing me to the call was that she chose secondary to get a full amount. After expressing that it would cause issues between their father and i and asked why didnt you just wait i just woke up i told you id call them today. There was no other response . she was very unprofessional in every single step of the process there was always something off or hidden . pay attention to the red flags with this one . You should build a clients trust and keep youre word on things and inform people of every billing step. You should have let me deal with the issue at hand as agreed apon , the entire process was just a flop honestly. Never did she express an actual care or give a damn about anyone and was very quick when called out on the issue to drop us . id say she is all about the money and not your child . i as a mother wish i wouldnt have wasted my time. Thats my experience with her . good luck to you guys.
