Working with Ashley about finding financing was great. Everything else was sub par. Communication was horrible. No drawings (even though requested) created problems during construction. The project was ultimately completed to my satisfaction, but it took staying on top of things every moment. I would not recommend this business to anyone not familiar with construction and willing to do their own quality control.

Frustrating... made an appointment for a Saturday. They were a no show. They sent an email to confirm our appointment and because I didnt respond, they just didnt come. I called to ask why and was told that they dont usually work on Saturdays and it was a special accommodation. I said, I didnt cancel the appointment so assumed you would be here. On to other contractors.

I would give this company a minus review if I could. It took them 5 months to do a job that should have been done in 1 to 2 weeks at the most. They did not guarantee their work. I have had to spend over $,2,300 dollars having repairs done to the work they did. After a month or two the grout in the shower cracked and the tile on the shower walls begin to fall off. The front entry door and screen door would not close or lock due to them not replacing the header over the door. A permit was required to widen the door in a load bearing wall, they did not get one. I found that HFG is not licensed to do business in Overland Park, KS. Debris was washed down the drain and clogged the sewer pipe. Ashley McCarter was rude, offensive, and unprofessional. Beware if you consider hiring this company. If they took advantage of an elderly, handicapped person, they would do the same to anyone. The company is under investigation. I see that several of the 5 star reviews are made by Ashley McCarter and her friends. I did not know you could review yourself. The company does not have a physical address. It is ran out of a P.O. Box.Ashley McCarter, I am sorry that you are having difficulty remembering who I am or HFG having done a home modification at my home. You were here at my house several times during the work being done. There are hundreds of emails between you and me. Numerous people have knowledge of the project and the work that was done here. You have a signed contract by me. If you are suffering from a memory loss, I suggest that you consult a physician immediately.

Ive never been so impressed with a contractor The craftsmanship was top notch and they were easy to work with. Highly recommend!
