Nice venue with LOTS of space. Options for catering, DJ, and quantity of people. Enough tables/chairs/linens for a large wedding. Staff is nice and Mickey, the manager, is friendly and funny.

Beautiful couple got married, but venue was horrible to them. They took money for an open bar and then refused to serve guests the amount agreed upon. Continued to ask for more and more money even during the wedding when everything was squared away months ago. Run away from this venue...better off in your backyard.

Bring your invoice to your event. They will dispute charges at your wedding. I encourage others to find another venue.

This has got to be the worst experience renting a venue I’ve ever experienced.First- we sat down with britney in December of 2019. She offered us a package of $2500 for our wedding since we were only using it for an event from 7pm - 12am with an $1000 Deposit that would go to the bar after all paid. I paid $3801 in total in March 2020 way before agreed date for payment plan. After the first of the year we never heard from Britney again- only Mickey. With a pandemic at the foot of our wedding we had questions.. as would anyone. He told us if we had questions to see Jackson county health department for information... well I didn’t pay Jackson county Health department I paid the Cotillion.. at any rate- we were told we would have this projected sign on the dance floor with our names on it- Mickey took a very long time to respond to any email and we were too late ordering our plate. We did a walkthrough a week before our event to cross the T’s dot the I’s.. where he then told us we owed taxes— it’s September I paid in full in March.. what? Went home found bank statements and contracts where said taxes were paid. Sent them to him with no response. He then tells us well we only had $500 on the open bar option.... my now husband emailed him as well as Britney to have everything in writing with again no response. We thought well he didn’t respond to the tax bill and that was taken care of maybe he misplaced where Britney had told us our package— Before signing our contract we were told we would have a wedding coordinator on site as well as a bartender, however our wedding coordinator and our bartender was the same person. We were told once we hit $950 Someone would come up and ask if we would like to put more money on the consumption bar or go to a cash bar.30 minutes into our wedding we were told by a guest that the bar was no longer open it was cash only. My nephew was charged six dollars for a sprite. Make sure you go over how much everything is at the bar as well. As my husband proceeded to lose his mind Mickey told us he was going to contact the owners came back and said it is what it is. Said he would get back with us with the owners information. It is now the Wednesday after our wedding and still have heard nothing.This was extremely embarrassing and ruined the first hour of her wedding. I suggest if you rent this venue for any event you get absolutely everything in writing. The venue is absolutely gorgeous minus the leaking of the AC unit all over our guests and into our drinks. But the people who run the thing are the absolute worst. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I was there for a moment and it appeared to be a nice clean place.

Britney was great to work with and the venue itself is incredibly beautiful. We were able to set up for our wedding the day before which took A LOT of stress off of my husband and I! I just wish the bar had been stocked better. We were told there would be juice, fruit, and other things to put in the drinks and there wasnt and it seemed like they were out of a lot of alcohol.

I was really happy with the service that i received from The Cotillion. The manager did a good job in keeping track of what needed to be set up and determine last minute details. The hall is absolutely beautiful, and doesnt really need a lot of decor because of the amazing detail that it already has. Besides the elegance and great service it provides, it is also very affordable. This hall exceeded my expectations. I really recommend it, its a choice you wont regret!

Poor attitudes all around of staff. Venue itself is okay, time for owner to clean house.

The Cotillion hands down is one of our favorite venues in the metro area. There is no doubt that the space itself is amazing, but the staff is incredible too. I have had the honor to work with Britney for many years. She is top notch and will become an invaluable asset as you work together with her to execute the details of your event.

As a Pro-Wedding DJ (The Dance Factory - Kansas City), I perform in Wedding Venues across the region every week from the Uptown to Arrowhead Stadium, and I can say with complete qualification, that this is a great place for Couples looking for a nice venue that well-fits almost all Wedding Budgets, is easily accessible by interstate, has great service and parking, and a very supportive staff. It can easily seat over 150 guests, offers bar service, and are an unbelievable bargain compared to many other venues of similar design. The Wedding we performed at there last weekend was exceptional and just perfect for their needs. Keep up the great work Cotillion!

This is a very nice place. My granddaughter had a banquet dinner there for her competition cheer group this year. It holds a lot of guest, dance floor and a area to serve food/drinks.

My nieces wedding was held here and it was a dream come true for her. Not as spacious as other venues, but the hospitality & great service there was awesome.

I had my wedding there on November 4th, both the ceremony and reception. The space is beautiful, Britney was great to work with and answered all of my questions and the rest of the staff was very helpful and nice. I highly recommend this venue. :)

Class reunion held here. Nice space although ceiling fans would help.

Room rental here was spacious for the event and their liquor was not that bad.

Beautiful venue little cousins graduation party was there it had a bar kitchen and several entrances and exits

Our daughter was turning 21 and she wanted a Real birthday party with a live DJ. So we put the plan in motion and just happened to be driving by The cotillion.I believe it was Britney who just happened to be there and gave us a tour. The place is amazing and conveniently located. Very spacious and elegant for any occasion.

Could not have asked for a better venue for my reception!! Britney is awesome and works with you in every aspect you would want her to. All I can say is that it was PERFECT for us!

The Cotillion was the perfect venue for our retirement reception. The space is large and the layout is great. Brittany was great to work with and everything went smooth. I would definately recommend the Cotillion in Blue Springs for any of your event needs.

The facility is fantastic. The layout is perfect, the place is impeccably clean and elegant. Britney was extremely helpful in getting everything set up for us and very accomodating when we needed to make changes. The price was great for the size, service and length of time given to use the facility. Britney explained everything very well and did not try to talk us into something that we didnt need. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone for any occassion.

Facility was ok but had issues with audio making a portion of the event awkward...video no sound. Bar was good with quick service.

Go there for weight watchers is always clean
