Also competent, able and efficient mechanics!I took my car to them after it started struggling to gain speed and taking on a burning smell.Talking to a few different mechanics around town, I knew one of the possibilities was an issue with the engine that was going to cost thousands to fix. However, when Dave’s looked at it, they determined it was actually a brake issue. He quoted me ~$500. I agreed on that price and the work they would do. What really impressed me was that after they had done the first stage of the repair (replacing the brake hose), they checked and determined that that fixed the issue completely. I appreciated that when the repair cost ~$200 instead of the ~$500 repair we’d agreed on, they didn’t consider doing the unnecessary repair just to charge me more. They were only interested in fixing my car correctly.And not a week later I took the car on a 300 mile road trip with absolutely no issues, so I can attest to their work!I will go here again!

Great service!! Another repair shop said my truck needed an upper ball joint replaced for it to pass inspection. This was my first time going to Daves. They fit me in their busy schedule the next day after I called to diagnose my AC as it stopped working. Every where else I called couldnt fit me in until next week. I really appreciated this. I havent had any work done yet as Im trying to decide whether or not to get it fixed. They only charged me $62.50 to find out the issue. They were very helpful & professional!

Brought my car up to fix a tire that has consistently been going flat for over 4 months. Have brought it tp three other shops who said they fixed it and no problems. Daves found a hidden nail and fixed it in a jiffy.

My new car dealer offers free oil changes for two years but I choose to stick with Dave’s and support his business because he is more honest than a dealer. I once had dealer tell me I needed new brakes. I priced brakes with Dave’s. He said I still had 60% left. I’ve been with him ever since. Highly recommend.

Staff was very pleasant. They called before doing anything additional beyond what was requested. I dropped my car off earlier than appointment and they had it finished in a timely manner. They offered to come pick me up so I could retrieve my car if I needed them too. This was my first time at this business and I do plan on using them again.

You can also see results to their inspections along with pictures of their findings. With that theyre completely transparent and honest in their work. We wont take our vehicles anywhere else.They also give military discounts. Thats uncommon in Blue Springs.

We have used Dave’s for years way back when they were North of I-70 and they are still just a hometown honest repair shop.

Took our truck to Daves because it wouldnt start. They replaced the starter in a timely fashion and at a fair rate. During casual conversation, I mentioned to them that we were taking the truck on a family vacation. Dave and his team inspected the truck overall to ensure everything was trip ready. Found some wiring issues with tail light and after-market headlamps. They fixed the issue and now have all lights working. Great team of honest people.

Take your car anywhere else. Got my car back with brake lights that no longer worked and less than a week later had a check engine light appear after they had it for a week to fix a coolant leak. $500 for what? A car that cant pass an inspection. Ridiculous.

I own a small landscaping business. I have a 92 f250. The truck has a fuel issue. Dave had my truck for almost 3 weeks. Was not able to fix or diagnose the issue. The truck sat for weeks and no call or information came of it. I was returned the truck today nothing was fixed and no answer about the issue. I was then charged for the truck $160 for replacing the spark plugs but the spark plugs were checked before the truck was brought to Dave. The plugs did not fix the truck. I was taken advantage of. Dave agreed to a project he could not resolve. As a small business owner myself I would never charge a customer for a job I was incapable of doing. I should have not been charged. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
