Did repair truck......missing part of battery cover. Asked to find it or replace it. Said it wasnt on battery when brought in. Come on. Im not stupid but they thought I was. $25 part cost them my business and a bad review. $700 worth of repair says I can write this review.

The brakes went out on our work truck and they were able to get our truck in and fix the brakes. Plus, they were the only place that would give me an idea of how much it would cost and they were on the money. Great company with honest people, i would recommend this company any day of the week.

I had my 2005 Volvo tuned up here, service was very fast and I was back on the road in a day. It was a little pricey for 2 coils and spark plugs, but thats my fault for having an old Volvo. The staff were very very good at explaining everything that my car needed (and it still needs some things fixed). If you want a trustworthy place that will get the job done right, I think you should give these folks a try. As with most places they will recommend some repairs that might not be a need but they didnt pressure me to do repairs or try to make me feel like the car was going to collapse if they didnt work on it. I liked this shop and will probably use them again in the future.

They are expensive. We replaced the motor in my husbands truck. They wanted $5000. We got it done elsewhere for $2700 and his truck runs great. Also, while the truck was up on their rack, I walked by the manager to use the bathroom and he stopped me and rudely told me that bathrooms were for customers only. I told them that they had my truck in their shop and he said I guess you can use it. They offer financing so I guess if you dont have the cash to pay for repairs up front, it would be an option, but you will pay a lot more for the work.

I have been a customer of George Mccorkendale Auto Service for years. I have never been disappointed by their outstanding service. This business employs highly trained technicians. Ask them about their extended warranty parts. George and Cheryl are honest and they stand behind their work. If you havent given their business a try, do yourself a favor and visit them when your vehicle requires service.

I have been going to McCorkendales for a long time. They are the most reliable and honest auto service facility that I have ever gone to. I have taken all my cars to them for regular maintenance for at least 10 years. I was not born yesterday and have gone to other places and not had the special care that they give me. I have moved away from Blue Springs and live in Columbia, MO and still return to Blue Springs to service my car!! All I can say is keep doing what you are doing!!

Have gone to McCorkendale for several years and they have always been truthful and trustworthy. You should always check with them before having any repairs done!! They have literally saved my wife and I thousands of dollars that would have otherwise been charged by the dealership.

After boycotting this repair shop for years after being treated like s#!t by their owner, I mistakenly decided to give them another try. After redeeming a AAA coupon for a full service oil change, I spent over $600 at this place, getting my strut mounts replaced, along with new struts. They didnt bother with the balancing of the tires, or even drive the car after the repairs. If they did, they would have noticed that the car still had a wobble. I returned to have the problem diagnosed, and they wanted to charge me an additional $50. I dont think so...TOTAL RIPOFF ARTISTS!!!Dont let them fool you into thinking they are honest. They probably submitted the kind reviews themselves.

Had appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon arrival, I asked about getting new headlights and was informed they offered a headlight service, which would clear up the opaque lenses. While they worked on my car they found a nail in one of the tires which, unfortunately, couldnt be repaired and had to be replaced.Im so grateful they found the nail as I have a roadtrip coming up. They saved me from getting stuck on the highway somewhere with a flat.I consistently get great service at McCorkendales. They are friendly, run a clean shop, and take care of my car like no other service center ever has before. I recommend them to everyone I know and plan to continue bringing my car there for all its planned, and unplanned, service needs.

Brought a car in for an alignment and it needed new ball joint one side and tie rod end on the other side.All to be done for an additional $490. Take car to dealer and they look at me stupid like when they get it on the lift and want to know why I want it replaced. Turns out there was NOTHING wrong with anything. Probably why there was no waiting and only one other car in the place to be worked on. If it were the last place left on earth to get you car worked on Id probably start riding my bike, at least I trust the guys at the bike shop not to hose me!

Bottom line is they made things right and will have our business for a long time.We took our 2012 Jeep in because of a check engine light.We fixed the suggested issues. However we found other issues later and took it in and they quickly went to work on the new problems. Later to find out that we needed a non-OEM part put on the Jeep they replaced it with no problem.

The people at McCorkendale Auto did a great job. They explained exactly what was wrong with my car, gave me recommendations, and were very polite.

Have used McCorkendales for years for quite a few family cars and within the past year even had a complete engine replacement and transmission replacement. I have noticed a disturbing change. ITS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY !. Dont get me wrong, their service is good, and it will be done right....BUT.......be prepared to pay 30%-40% more and have more mysterious costs and procedures suggested and added in than many other places. They have gotten ridiculously expensive. If you allow them to supply parts.....the part costs up to 50% more than if you buy the part yourself . If YOU buy the part....mysteriously the bill goes up to where it wouldve been if THEY supplied the part. LABOR? $75 labor charges end up with questionable math being about $90 PLUS per hour. The counter man cant explain all the various labor charges.They are very nice people with a very nice and squeaky clean shop........but be prepared to open your wallet ..........WIDE. I have spent $10s of thousands of dollars there over the years.....but not any more. Go somewhere else and check others prices before you have your car done there.....and the described ABS diagnostics were described to me to need a total ABS system replacement at $800+. Meineke found the problem to be the rear speed sensor and fixed everything for $144. Definitely get a second opinion before you agree to their prices.

McCrookendales. Know four different people who have been hustled by them. They each had second opinions, which resulted in $7000 of work that was unneeded. Brought in a car, asking a service light to be reset for previous completed work, and they billed me $100 for breaking an alternator on a test drive, and refused to even reset the light, the ONLY thing I asked them to do. How do you “test drive” to reset a service light?

Mechanics are pretty rude, but the office staff are polar opposites. The work they do is excellent.

I was surprised when checking my log book and found that I was a little late in getting my oil and filters changed. So I got on the phone and called the man (in this case woman and co owner) to make an appointment.
