Steam Master has been fantastic to work with! Kim, Jan, Kelsey, and all the staff there have made my job easier several times. They have helped in a pinch and Ive never had any no show. In a flooding emergency theyve found time to take care of us! Being a Property Manager it is extremely important to have companies to rely on.

Weve used Steam Master a few times in the past few years. Always very happy with the work they do, actually amazed the first time we had them come. Fast, efficient and very courteous.

Although this company gave us the cheapest quote it is certainly the worst customer service experience we have ever had. The tech that cleaned our carpet never introduced himself and gave us the impression he was annoyed just by being at our home. Being friendly, polite, courteous and informative is everything in customer service..We got none of that. After spraying our stairs and carpet with scotch guard he left 2 huge puddles of scotch guard in both entry ways. Instead of cleaning up his own mess he turned to us after grabbing our check and said You might want to watch your step in the entryway. He never took us to down to show us the job he did and I if it wasnt for me asking him how long it took for carpet to completely dry so we could put the furniture back, we wouldnt have been told that information either. He never even said goodbye. The icing on the cake? The carpet looks as if he never even cleaned it. I would never use this company again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I had this company come out to clean the air ducts in my little two bedroom house with a basement. What a waste of money! I wish Id asked more questions ahead of time.What they did: The tech removed each vent cover (10 in all), stuck a bristle brush on a wire down each duct and agitated it, then he shoved a commercial vacuum hose down the duct and wiggled it around. To clean my main line he cut two holes in the duct work in the basement and used the same brush/vac technique. I say cut because he didnt actually use a metal saw, or tin snips...he used a CHISEL AND HAMMER to punch holes in duct work!! Then he duct taped a piece of flashing over the hole. I also had him clean the a-coil and furnace. Honestly, Im not sure what he did to the furnace, but cleaning the a-coil consisted of him vacuuming it and spraying something on it for $45.This $190 service was a complete rip off. There were no agitator brushes that cleaned every corner of my 60 year old ducts, there were no cameras to see what they were cleaning, and despite being a steam cleaning company, there was no steam to sanitize the ducts. What there WAS, was furnace filters that are just as dirty (including big clumps of debris) as they were before I had the ducts cleaned. I seriously wonder if this service only served to stir up dirt, dust, and germs that have laid dormant for decades.I do NOT recommend this company.

I have had my carpets cleaned in the past, but never had I received such exceptional service at such a great value. Steam Master beats their competitor pricing by almost half the cost and their technicians are experienced. My carpets never looked so good, my friends and family were all impressed and I will continue to call upon their service.

We just had some of our carpet cleaned and they did a fantastic job. Alex was the guy who cleaned and he did a great job.

Jan & Kelsey are a joy to work with, and they dont have any hidden fees. We recently had our dryer vent cleaned and its like we have a new dryer again. The $55 we spent to clean it was saved in electricity and wasted time waiting for clothes to dry. Well worth it!

Probably the worst carpet cleaning company in KC. With a name like SteamMaster you would think they take pride in their work. Do not use them! I live at an apartment complex that uses their services. The so called carpet cleaning consists of a grumpy old man mumbling under his breath and doing a half assed job of going over your carpet as quickly as possible. I witnessed this guy cleaning an apartment for a new move in and was completely shocked at what they consider carpet cleaning. Judging on the other reviews, Im not the only one disappointed in their services. There are plenty of other carpet cleaning companies in the metro, just skip this one.

Should of realized that if it take u under a hour to do 5 rooms and a hallway its probably going to be mediocre. When I used a RUG DOCTOR, I spent atleast 3 hours on my place and my carpet looked brand new. All the places that were darker on my carpet are still there clear as day. Very disappointed. Why do apartments want u to use a professional ? When they cant even get the dark spots out of your carpet. Waste of money.

DO NOT USE! Use to work there and they do not abide by guidelines. They feed you a line of crap just to get paid. They DO NOT clean air ducts, lol they send a technician in there with basically a vacuum hose and tell the homeowner its within the Missouri state guidelines but I can tell you first hand you could literally clean them better with a hand brush and dust pan. Jan Banjuelos is the owner and the most crooked SNAKE Ive ever met! You would literally get better results with a rug doctor.. TERRIBLE PLACE!!

Warning - I used this company a year and a half ago and now they want to charge me an additional $100 for the same service because they would have to step on a ladder. Shady to say the least.

3 days later the carpet was still soaked. Called them and they had every excuse under the sun! Will not use again.

Steam Master came to clean my carpet after some water damage. The apartment I rented gave Steam Master a key to my apartment, and they were to lock up when they left. Over 8 hours after they had been by to clean my place, I came home to find my front door wide open, with all of my belongings and pet open to the anyone or anything that wanted to come in. The second time they had to come, they were 3 hours later than they said they would be, and I took off work to be there the entire time, so that I could shut the door behind them. Beware!
