Barb Henry is absolutely wonderful! She will sit with you & try to put the right combination of medicine to get you to an even balance! Nothing is ever forced, it is all weighed out! 5 stars for Ms. Henry!

I have had a great experience with this practice. Sessions are focused on your needs and unscheduled communication is very reasonably handled. I got help navigating starting medication to treat a diagnosis and then handling bad generics and good generic medications. Cannot recommend them more if these are what you need help with. I have not received talk therapy services through this practice so cannot comment on that.

Easily obtained a quick appointment. Paul Myers was very kind and helpful. Much easier than dealing with TriHealth. Not thrilled about video meetings. Very satisfied.

I have been calling the office on multiple occasions and never receive a call back. I just received a certified letter dismissing me from the practice for not following up. I work in healthcare and this is absolutely unacceptable. I was very pleased with Dr. Carpenter until this happened.

The doctors are fine. Appointments are fine. Telehealth so so. Not my favorite but I understand. The billing and the phone system I find ridiculous. As other people state in the reviews, no one ever answers the phone. The billing department constantly repeats look at your paper statement for information on how to pay online. I couldn’t tell you the last time I received a paper statement. You would think it would be easier to just give you the web address. I have never tried so hard to just pay a bill. It’s exasperating.

It is 10 a.m. on a Wednesday and Ive been trying to get a hold of the office for 30 minutes now with not an ounce of luck. They dont answer their phone and when they do they send you straight to voicemail or disconnect the call. Ive been on hold with the line to schedule for 20 minutes. Cannot get anyone to answer on the cancel or reschedule line. Ive yet to try the billing line. They didnt send out an appt. confirmation nor have I spoken to a person. This is very unprofessional and they will not be getting my business not from anyone Im associated with.

Dr Paul Myer is a compassionate, caring and knowledgeable Doctor that was able to identify the core issues of my problem. He was able to guide me with his experience, knowledge and expertise in his field to quickly help me find balance in my situation. He helped me put in place self care, boundaries and rest to recover for my illness. I am thankful for the services provided. He is professional and has empathy. Qualities that are hard to find these days.

We tried MANY times to pay our bill to psych BC. No one would return our phone calls we even let the therapist know we were trying to pay the bill. The Doctor we were seeing just stopped communication with my husband. I can only hope under this new name they have better service. The girl who FINALLY answered today was rude when I was trying to figure out what was going on. I don’t recommend going here unless you just want to deal with a headache or Doctors who quit communicating.

No one ever answers the phone. Takes over a week to get a return call. Then when you make an appointment online, they leave you a message cancelling it (I know, it’s happened to me TWICE in a month). Then an employees admits to me they are understaffed and that’s why it takes forever to get a call back. They also suggest a therapist that isn’t qualified to see adolescents that’s over an hour away. I’ll be looking elsewhere. I work in healthcare and this would be 100% unacceptable where I work.

The providers and front desk are fine. The billing, intake and records department are not very fast or helpful. I called and left multiple messages and the calls are not returned in a timely manner. I wish I had a better experience this office. Luckily, I found another provider better suited to my needs.If billing and records could give me a call, thatd be swell.

Ive been going here for over a year now and I see Paul Myers. Seeing Paul has been nothing other then positive. From the start he has made me feel welcome and comfortable. He is an amazing listener and he take the time to make sure every aspect of my life is going well. All around he is a great guy and does an amazing job! The office staff is very nice as well. Overall my experience with this office has been great.

Psych BC is a place that I would recommend to individuals, families, and couples many times over. They actually care and demonstrate their compassion to their clients which is refreshing and they take a holistic approach in combating mental health issues pairing medication with therapy! Kudos

Life Stance Health and my psychiatrist Dr PM are a blessing! This company as well as my doctor are compassionate, thorough and are always available for questions and advice. My sessions are from the convenience of my own home via tele health. Even if I am having technical difficulty, on my part not theirs, my doctor will call me without the video part where with my experience most doctors will not. I highly recommend this health company. I was referred here from my PCP. I first saw Dr. Carpenter everything was fine and then I received a letter dismissing me from his care stating I didn’t keep my appointments and was not taking the meds I was prescribed. This is NOT true. Then I saw Dr. Henry. Same thing happened. Now I need a refill on a prescription. I’ve left 3 voice mail messages with NO return call. I have an appointment with a new doctor on the 7th of May. I’m on hold right now with PschBc. It’s been 20 minutes. I have to talk to someone about a refill on a medication I’m out of. This makes me very unsettled because we psych patients can not go without our meds. It’s now been 30 min. I don’t dare hang up because I know my call will not be returned. I’ll also be looking else where for a psychiatrist. I can’t trust this place!!!!

The only problems I’ve had is with the absolutely dreadful billing department. Paul Myers and David Moss have been very communicative and I appreciate them both greatly.Working with the billing department is like trying to capture a unicorn however, which is to say impossible.

I have been having sessions with my therapist virtually and it has been great! I love my doctor and PsychBC has been truly amazing Everytime I have spoken with them. Very helpful team! Would absolutely recommend! 😊

I have only been into the actual office for my first 2 visits before the Covid came. Now, im loving these virtually visits!! I hope they are here to stay. Commendations go to my Nurse Practioner, Mr. Paul Myers, for being so kind, professional, knowledgeable and caring. If he can take care of me and my crazy insanity, he can take care of anybody! Tried to make an appointment/do intake this week and have not received a response and no one seems to ever answer the phone (read the other reviews, Psych BC at the corporate level should handle this....never should a patient that need psychological counseling have to wait a week to even speak to a person....gonna be a lot more people that just needed help now that are going to have to call 9-1-1 because what once was just a problem with now be an emergency.I will thank all the others who left a review....I had selected Paul Myers as a possible best fit for me but after seeing the other reviews about his lack of empathy or concern of patients...I’m glad I didn’t waste my time!

Even though the counseling services with my therapist goes very well. The billing and customer side of this business is horrendous. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Their billing department is the worst I have ever seen of a major company of this nature. After repeatedly calling and never being able to reach a person and leaving messages it took them three months to finally call us back. Again I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I saw Paul Myers and everything was pretty okay up until Covid. He and this office have completely dropped the ball and treat my care like an afterthought. I didnt know what a telehealth appointment was and they told me its just over the phone so I understood that as a phone call. I informed my employer that I was expecting a call that I had to take and was ready for the call. He called me right on time and proceeded to belittle and insult me for not understanding something that wasnt properly explained to me. He then took my medication that I was getting in 3 month refills down to only one months worth and made my next appointment over a month away and denied a refill so I was forced to go a week without with no taper-down period. Im going to be finding a new psychologist and office because he completely lacks compassion for the people he treats.

I have had nothing but good experiences at this location, as has my 9 year old at the Beavercreek location. Barb Henry, DNP has truly listened to my concerns and after 25 YEARS of medical doctors misdiagnosing and ignoring my symptoms, I have finally gotten the help that I needed. I could not recommend her more.

The staff at this place are very efficient, respectful, and cordial. Whenever I ask a question, they respond with correct information or at least a good explanation. The counselor is responsive - meaning that she listens to my soliloquy and responds in ways to let me know that she has heard me. Very important.

Ive gone to four different psychiatrist. Someone recommended Dr. Carpenter and after just one session with him I knew he was the perfect fit. Amazing guy with great character. Thoughouly explains things and why they happen and doesnt force any prognosis or medications on.

Intake is absolutely terrible. I have been trying to schedule an appointment for a week now. When I call, I can’t talk to anyone, have to leave a message. They don’t call back same day. They call next day and I have missed the calls. Call back immediately, just to leave a message and have them call next day again. I will be going elsewhere.

I could not recommend the staff at PsychBC Blue Ash enough. I have been seeing Paul Myers for awhile now. Paul is available via email if I have an emergency cancellation or need to fill him in on something significant. The support staff at PsychBC are fantastic at returning voicemails or fitting me in for appointments. As the country had to shift to virtual visits—PsychBC Blue Ash made it seamless with the app. I had a few issues on my end transitioning (I am not tech savvy) and when I’d call the support staff for help (minutes before my visit) they were very gracious—even when I was having a “moment” of stress to ensure I made my appointment on time. I’ve recommended this office a number of times to various people I know, especially when the topic arises of mental health. Thank you to PsychBC for pivoting to virtual healthcare so seamlessly! And doing it gracefully! (I accidentally put this under Kenwood’s review!) OOP!

I love my NP. Shes very good at her job. Shes intelligent, understanding, attentive & knowledgeable. Ive NEVER had a bad experience with her. However the intake dept. called to schedule me with a therapist. I asked several times is she paneled under my insurance? They said yes several times. I get into my 3rd appt. with her & she told me she couldnt see me because she isnt paneled under my insurance. Then they had the nerve to bill me! My current therapist Aimee is very good though. If it werent for Barb the NP I wouldve went elsewhere!

Dr Carpenter is the BEST! He is so caring, and listens inventively to what you are saying, & genuinely wants to help you. The staff is friendly, environment and office area very clean and organized, wait time is very low. Highly recommend this doctor and staff.

Shambolic organization. THEY cancelled a DR appointment on the morning of, and rescheduled it to a later date with a NURSE without mentioning that minor detail. When I had to cancel the rescheduled appointment due to illness, I was told there would be a $75 charge. I guess they want you to come in so they can bill you even if you are sick. Given the current covid-19 pandemic this policy seems even more irresponsible than usual. Patient care vs. profit: I think their priority is clear.

Dr. Barbara Henry is very informative and gives plenty of time at your visit. She has offered several options for my health care. Scheduling appointments are always in a timely matter.

My therapist is Aimee. I don’t know what I would do without her. I have been with her at PsychBC for a little over a year following a tragic event that I knew I couldn’t recover from. Tear by tear Aimee has helped me walk this journey and I could not imagine my life without her.

If I could give an absolute zero, I would. Paul Myer’s, Licensed NP is a no. Per my experience, he is not at all concerned with the patient; only the pay. On our very fist visit for my son, which was a zoom appt., about 12 mins. into the visit, we were disconnected a couple of times and or had audio issues. I asked Paul if we could just resume via telephone. Paul stated to me, and I quote, “Perhaps another time as I have a busy schedule today.”......? I’m sorry, aren’t initial assessment appts. at best 1hr. in allotment or are they 12 minutes? I was floored and called the Ombudsmen line and left a message. No one ever called me back to speak with me. A month later, I received a message from the Ombudsmen that I will be charged for this visit. I guess this is where my credit takes a hit! I absolutely refuse to pay for a service my son did not receive. Makes my heart very sad.

I came in with constant anxiety and wanted to obtain tools to help me cope with this. I had recently retired and was having trouble adjusting to all the free time. My counselor was good at listening and offering suggestions to control the anxiety. I feel he really got me.

I have experience with 2 different providers in this practice. I can say that both Aimee and Diane are exceptional therapist’s and we have had nothing but excellent treatment from the admin staff, billing department, and of course the clinician’s. This hasn’t always been the case in other practice’s.

After my doctor left the Beavercreek PsychBC location I attempted to transfer to this office. Beavercreek was fantastic, but this office is horrible. I called to let them know I was on my way to my appointment with Paul Myers but was running behind. When I arrived I was told by the receptionist that I would need to reschedule because I was more than 15 minutes late. Nothing was said about this policy when I called to inform them that I was on my way, if I would have known I would not have wasted my time driving over a hour to get there.Then, they billed me for a no show for that appointment. Really goes to show how caring they are.

Everyone that works here is so friendly and welcoming. The office is very clean and cozy. I cant speak for all the counselors, but the two that I am currently seeing are amazing.

I had to give up on these folks. A couple of days before my appointment, someone left a voicemail claiming that they needed more information. This was accompanied with a warning that if they didnt get this information, my appointment would be cancelled. I made six calls over two days and left messages but could not reach my point of contact.I felt that this likely represented the service I would receive from PsychBC and decided against working with them.

I have been going to Barb Henry, NP since 2017 when I felt like my world was upside down. I have felt nothing but support, guidance, and excellent response time, especially when I needed it most.

In terms of scheduling, accessibility to a live person, and communication skills demonstrated by the office & corporate staff- this is by far the worst practice Ive been to. Im shocked by the number of positive reviews.

The office staff has always been courteous and efficient. My individual Counselor, Diane, is wonderful for giving me practical and effective advice and insight to my issues.

Go elsewhere! Very unprofessional and doesn’t listen. Dr Jeremy Carpenter doesn’t care about his patients, my 9 ur old daughter has some issues that require constant treatment. Not empathetic at all! A waste of time and money! I don’t understand how he is able to treat patients! My daughter has to suffer due to his incompetence!!!!!

Called and made an appointment. It two 2 months to get one. I go to the appointment and they had given me the wrong location. The counselor was at another location. Unfortunately, I missed the long awaited appointment because they gave me the incorrect information. They gave me another appoint a couple of weeks later. I called to check to make sure they had given me they right location the day of my appointment. The location was correct, but they had changed my counselor to a man without my knowledge. I canceled the appointment and am going to another group. Very bad customer service.

I absolutely love the staff- they greet me when I first come in- intake matched me with the perfect Dr— very private and safe feeling.

I went to one appointment and it was suggested I try out a specific medication that I had had good results with in the past. One of those meds that you’ve got supposed to start with a little dose, work your way up to the bigger doses. Reverse the process if you are gonna stop taking.One month in, Ive been trying for a week now to just have them call in the refill. It’s just not happening. Def the worst experience I’ve had with any sort of health care office.If I could give zero stars I would. I do not recommend.

We used to go until they changed management. It used to be a small office with staff that knew you and could help. Now it is a part of a big corporation and when you need something you may be talking to a person in another state or hours away.

Dr. Goodwin has done an amazing job helping its with our son and our son loves the the help and treatment he has received from her. She is outstanding with children!

My NP has been working with me for months with starting new medication and has been more than helpful, he has also listened to all the concerns I have and customized my treatment to fit those concerns. The only complaint I have is that it is very hard to get in again if you have to move an appointment.

I agree w/some of the reviews. Since changing to the PsychBC I cannot get in touch w/my NP to discuss the meds she started me on. First trying to get the script was absolutly a nightmare. I called many times and was given a different answer as to why the script wasnt at the pharmacy. Everything from it was sent and recd, they should have it then I will make sure she gets the msg then she should have sent it in and finally well she does have authorization to send it electronically. In the end I had to go up to the office to pick up a script. All this was more than a week of calls back and forth.NP told me to let her know how much I was actually taking by the end of the first script. I called for a refill and asked that they tell her about the dose I needed. When I finally got the refill it still had the lower dose and quantity. I called to get the next refill again giving the information and asking to make sure it is included in the request. Now I wait for who knows how long before NP gets the msg and sends the correct dose. I will be out of my medicine and will go on vacation without any. Not sure if I will continue with this group even though I have a long history with the practise.

Wonderful practice

Scheduled my first appointment for the 10th of April. Upon arriving I was notified that my insurance wasnt covering the visit. Got frustrated as any person would. Stepped out for a minute to make a phonecall. Came back in and attended the appointment.At the end of the first visit is scheduled the following one for the 17th. My psychiatrist, being legally blind had a very magnified calendar up while scheduling. Not only did I watch him input the date and save it, but I also input it into my phone. As I was leaving he even gave me an appointment card with the time and date.On the 17th I arrived for my appointment but was told We have no record of you scheduling an appointment. Even the appointment card wasnt enough to prove I had scheduled at that time. Fast forward to this morning. I now have a $75 no show charge applied to my first visit on the 10th. For the appointment I attended.I can only assume they applied it when I got frustrated and stepped out to make a phonecall to my wife that day. This is not how you run a business folks. Let alone care for people in need. Wouldnt recommend to anyone seeking help.

Wasnt put with the doctor I was told I would see. Then he decided to cold-turkey me on an essential medication. THEN he yelled at me and kicked me out. Dont waste your time and money.

Stay away from this practice . They have y lost some of their best drs they are now using nurse practitioners who are taking u off your Meds . U will goThru withdrawal I was lied to and notTold my drs replacement was a nursewho immediately started cutting myMeds. I said I am going somewhereElse. Stay away.
