Beautifully done!We reached out to Blooming W,S & F because our old wooden fence was falling apart. Old, broken in places, and held up by steel beams in some areas where strong winds had pulled it down. We worried our dogs would manage to escape if something got worse.The team was great! The entire process was amazing. The quote process was thorough, literally walking and measuring together, making sure that we knew exactly what we were asking for. I never felt like we were being up-sold or pressured in any manner.We ended up going with a chain link fence. Once installation began it was completed within 1 day. I waited several weeks to post a review to see how the posts settled and everything. There were zero problems and I feel like we got exactly what was discussed during the quote process.

We reached out to Bloomington Windows, Siding & Fence to get a quote to install a wood fence around part of our backyard. Stephen responded with a day and set up a time the following week to measure and provide a quote. He provided a quote after measuring the fence path, and the price was acceptable, so we scheduled an install at his next available appointment. This process allowed us to install a lot faster than other companies. Stephen was responsive throughout the process.On the install day, the install team arrived right when they said they would and got to work quickly, despite some issues with the utility marking. There were also two discrepancies in the fencing plan from when we were quoted - the measurements were short in two areas and there was a gate missing in the design (therefore the team didnt bring enough materials). The install crew was able to bring in additional materials and complete the job in one day, working late to do so. Although the extra gate was already included in the quoted price (and simply left off of the plans), the additional length was apparently not. Stephen came out two days later and confirmed that the error in measurement was on his part, so the cost was as-quoted.Note that the install team for wood fences uses a dry set install method - i.e. they set the posts in dry concrete and assemble the fence. In this case, they didnt wet the concrete afterwards, and indicated this would come from ground moisture - it was raining while they installed, so this is possibly different than if the weather was dry, though not adding water is different than any post-setting concrete instructions Ive ever seen. Nonetheless, it requires being fairly careful with the fence for several days after the install to avoid movement in the posts.Overall the fence looks great, it flows nicely with the elevations in our yard, and we were pleased with the quick and professional experience. We plan to use this company again for some windows and sliding doors we need to replace.

He’s organized and his presentation at our first meeting was beyond impressive! The fence installation started on time and was finished within the the time frame he said it would be which frankly isn’t all that common although it should be.The fencing professionals were wonderful! Aaron and Wyatt worked efficiently and diligently. In fact, they had more done in 4 hours on the first day than the installers working on a neighbor’s fence did in 8. Then, even though the forecast called for rain, they were back and hard at work the next day while the neighbor’s fence sat unfinished. They continued working even after it started to rain - then came back to finish in the rain on day 3! Throughout the build, Aaron explained the whys and hows along with do’s and don’ts to help our fence last for decades. Super nice, super professional, and you’ll want him and Stephen as your go-to contractors for everything (and your BFFs) by the time they’re done! HIGHLY recommend!

Very comprehensive evaluation of the needs of our house. I felt that the explanation of the products that they use made” sense”, and the materials are comparable to any other company that we had researched. The ability to finance is available, and the costs are presented upfront, with an explanation of where trouble spots might be identified. In our case, we did have a bump, I was notified by the carpenters/ installation team what they had encountered as soon as they found the additional problem (meaning more time intensive and more materials/ cost) but assured me that they could do the work needed to both evaluate and fix the problem. Steve (owner)immediately came out to give an estimate to move forward. Tom and Chuck are the coolest guys and work like a well oiled machine! I admire their talents and how proficiently they work together. True Pros! Very communicative regarding any questions, or even my second guessing some choices that I had made. We hired them to install vinyl siding, soffit, trim and gutters. Our house is now the most lovely home in the neighborhood. The installers, Chuck and Tom, are perfectionists, who do beautiful work. We had an 8 foot privacy fence put in with a double gate. We are very happy with our fence, it gives us a lot of privacy. The fence looks great and weve gotten several compliments from our neighbors.The installers were a husband and wife team, they were fast and efficient. The fence was custom made and assembled on site. Our backyard is on a hill, the fence follows the slope of the land nicely. We did have a small miscommunication with the length of the fence on the left side, but it was immediately fixed so Im very happy.I would definitely recommend Bloomington Window Siding and Fence. I met Stephen on a chance encounter when I sold something on a yard sale site to his wife and he had the been the one I had met up with. He came in his work vehicle and I had asked him about his business and that my husband and I had been planning to replace our windows in our home and although we didn’t know when we would make the expense I was still keeping a look out. He gave me his card told me to call him when we were ready. No pushy sales pitch no harassment that you sometimes see from those big names. Fast forward we were thinking about getting ready I looked up his website checked reviews and gave him call. Again not once did I feel I was getting pushed into a big purchase, we scheduled a time to meet and as planned he arrived on time and ready to hear what we wanted.Our house was built in the 70s and had those windows you change from season to season or are “supposed” to, they were very drafty where we froze even if the thermostat said 73 degrees. Amazing customer service. When rotten plywood decking was found on the siding installation, Steve covered the unexpected cost of replacing the plywood. We purchased new windows for our house after meeting Stephen at the Bloomington Home Show. First reason I chose him was because he was local, second reason was because of his personality, third was because you really got the feeling that hes honest and trustworthy. He came to our house and pitched his windows which are beautiful and high quality. He was a joy to talk with and wasnt pushy and he didnt try to oversell us on something we didnt need. The impression we got that day was great, he seemed like a very trustworthy guy who honestly wants to do a great job and build a great customer base. We purchased 7 windows for a great deal. They offer their own financing which is very nice. Installation day came about a month later; they had a busy schedule after the home show. The two installers, Tom and Chuck, were super friendly and wow, they were good at their job. They were efficient, fast, professional, friendly and they never made a mess. I shared some venison summer sausage with them for lunch, which brought large smiles to their faces, and they got everything done and cleaned up in about 6-7 hours. As they were packing up my old windows, Stephen showed up to inspect the work and make sure we were very happy with his service. Ive dealt with contractors before and most leave a lot to be desired. I just wish more contractors operated their business like this one. We are very happy. Unfortunately, now my wife says everything else on the outside of the house needs to be replaced to match the nice new windows...

Steve and the team were all very professional. And we LOVE our new fence which is a combo of black chain link and one side a shadowbox. It was super easy to make a couple of modifications and when the team was in site they explained everything! Couldnt be happier!

This is a follow up to our five star rating from last year. We are reducing our rating due to a very large amount of warping of the boards on our wooden fence, The installation was excellent and survived the winter with no frost heave, etc., and it was reasonably priced. A short time after installation we had some warping and Stephen was kind enough to provide replacements even though he was not required to per terms of the contract. However, now after one year, I estimate about 40% of the boards have some degree of warping (some minor, some more noticeable). If you search the internet it appears warping is a common problem for wooden fences, however, in our case it seems to be excessive. The boards did appear to be better than what your get from the big box stores (thicker) so perhaps we just got a bad batch of wood that was not properly dried or stored. Ironically, the junky old big box fence we removed did not have much warping at all.In any event, we still think this company is good, but if you are going for a wood fence my advice is to ask questions about the wood.Les WadzinskiYou have all been there, you make an appointment with a contractor and he never shows up. Or, he shows up, promises to get back to you with an estimate, and you never hear from him again. Or, even worse, you make a deal, his crew shows up, does half the job, and then disappears for two weeks. You wont have any of those problems with this company. We used them for a new privacy fence and are very satisfied. They show up, do excellent work, dont leave until its done, use high quality material, and are very professional.

We had a 6 wood privacy fence installed. The owner was able to measure my property and give me an estimate on the spot. He was very clear about what we should expect over the course of the project and did a great job of communicating. The fence installer was professional and courteous and his craftsmanship was excellent. Every aspect of the install was explained in detail. Great work all around.

We recently had a custom 6’ wood privacy fence installed. I called a few companies for quotes and Stephen is the only one who came out that same day to meet with us and give us a quote. We showed him some ideas of what we were looking for to see what we could afford. We had him quote our dream fence thinking it would be way above our budget. He priced three different fence styles and worked with us to help us realize our dream fence. He was very thorough in explaining how the process would go and made sure all of our questions were answered. My wife and I can’t say enough about Aaron and Shancy who installed the fence. They were very professional and pointed out some issues with our fence design that would cause structural issues down the road. They communicated these issues with Stephen and then worked with us to get the same look for our fence but at the same time allow it to be structurally sound. In the end we liked the final version even better than our original design. The quality of the final product was amazing! I would highly recommend Bloomington Window, Siding, and Fence for any fence project.

I cant recommend Stephen and his crew enough! He was so professional, personable and helpful with showing us all of our options and giving us multiple estimates, as we had no idea what we wanted beyond a fenced in back yard. Even during a busy time of year for him, he was able to get our fence installed within two weeks of our estimate, and he personally came out to check on the fence upon completion. His crew who installed our fence was absolutely wonderful. They did such a great job that we had neighbors ask them to also install their fence -- which I think is the ultimate complement to the quality of work youll get!

The guys did a great job at a good price. When we recieved our new baby widow after they put it in they found a flaw and without question they ordered us a new one.
