Rita was very friendly and professional. She colored my hair exactly how I wanted it. I also brought my daughter in for a couple of highlights. Rita was very friendly with my daughter and let her help pick out the color. The salon is very highly recommended.

Im pretty terrible at explaining what I want when it comes to hair, but Rita asked all the right questions and looked at pictures with me. She was able to understand what I was going for and work with my hair type to make it happen! Plus, shes a great conversationalist, tries her hardest to fit you in if she can, and helps you understand the techniques shes using. I found Rita 3 years ago when I had a hair emergency. Even though she was booked for the weekend, she squeezed me in to fix the mess another salon had created. My hair has been through several colors over the years, and she has mastered every one. My naturally dark hair is very difficult to turn blonde, and she is the only one I would trust when I was blonde, because the color was amazing and natural-looking.I moved to Indianapolis a year and a half ago, and still drive down to Bloomington every 8 weeks to get my hair done here. She is so worth it!

When I came to Ritas salon my hair was damaged and dried out from bleaching my hair to blonde when Im naturally a really dark burnette. The place that cut my hair before did a sketchy job. They didnt know how to cut hair that is thick. Rita made sure that when she cut my hair that you couldnt see the cut lines once my hair is dry and it now blends together wonderfully. Which just as a side note it took several hours to get my hair cut and layered just right to not show those cut lines. She has worked hard to get my hair back to the long length that I love and has even worked harder with me to get my hair back to the healthy and silky looking hair that it used to be. I have never had a bad experience with her. She doesnt rush anyone who comes into the salon, she makes sure to have light hearted conversations with everyone ,and strives to make the experience relaxing and comfortably for everyone who walks through her doors.

Horrible experience. She was rushed, rude, did a chop job, and pushed me out of the chair with my hair still dripping wet. All the while she spewed rhetoric about right wing family values, with some racism in there too. Pfft. Lots of amazing stylist in Btown, no need for this mess,

Horrible experience. She cut off 6+ inches of my hair when I asked for a healthy trim. She rushed the experience and didnt even dry my hair. Never going back!
