I had several spools of 8mm movies. Assorted movies of kids and grandparents. At 40 years old and no way to view. Confident like our color slides, we were loosing color quality. Time to save family memories. Turned to Chris and team to help me out. So pleased with the results, it’s time to get 3 different types of VHS tape to them.

Chris helped us transfer our early family movies from VHS and miniDV cassettes and then edit clips into a wonderful documentary of our son growing up to be shared with family and friends at his graduation open house. He was incredibly patient with the editing process, even when I gave him 32 notes for changes after the first draft! Due to COVID, my dad and sister couldnt fly in for the party, so being able to share the video with them was really special.

Beyond Expectations! Brought in a smashed 8mm tape with the tape hanging out of it and snapped, this thing was destroyed. Chris was able to not only repair the tape and transfer to a new 8mm case, but also recovered the entire video and transfer to digital. We did not know what was on the tape so it was a mystery. After Chris repair, we were delighted to discover that it was a very rare family moment from 23 years ago, captured on video.
