I came in close to closing but they were kind enough to still take me. I had a short wait but i did come in close to closing lol. They have a assortment if nail designs they do. They explained the price before working on my nails. It turned out really nice

September 30,2021, I went to nail studio and got my nails done and pedicure. My nails turned out terrible I got all white nails. They were shape poorly and looked bumpy. When I checked out I asked if they could be fixed I was told they couldn’t be fixed. Then as I explain how poor quality they were the person I believe to be in charged fix three nails instead of all of them. She also was rough with shaping them and cut me several times. I do not recommend anyone to come to Nail Studio. Especially if you want coffin shaped nails or any other shape with acrylic. I wish I could give them no stars.

Had to speak up alot about shape of finger nails. However technician do oblige. Pedicure was fabulous and they use plastic liners in addition to sanitizing foot tubs.

Ive been here twice, the first time the lady was very friendly and picked out a wonder color for the top coat of my sparkle gel polish. The set was a little sloppy but it wasnt terrible. The second time i brought my 5 year old in she has her nails painted a diff young helped me this time she was kind to my daughter. This time i did dip powder! she kind of cut into my cuticles and made them bleed but it wasnt a big deal to me. My nails look fantastic she got the length perfect and the shape as well! i will be returning a third time!

Nail Studio has been so good to me. Tina witch is the owner is genuine, and a great nail technician. They offer many different selections for pedicures and manicures. Prices are fair depending on what you’re having done. I highly recommend!!

I went in for a removal of my acrylic nails with SNS dip powder. Instead of soaking the nails in acetone and then removing the nail that way, the man took one of the acrylic nail tips and slid it under the acrylic and brute forced them off of my natural nails. This is a super dangerous way of removing them which can lead to taking off a whole nail or several layers of nail. Furthermore, it hurts to have them ripped off this way. If I had known they were just going to rip them off in such a manner, I would have just done it myself. I have been getting acrylics and sns for awhile and I have never had a salon do that before. Please go somewhere else to get your acrylics removed !

I don’t recommend this nail studio, people are not nice, I had my worst experience manicure… the man so rude and and not polite.

I wanted a French manicure on my own nails. He did a great job with trimming around the edges and cleaning up the area around my nails, but I dont like the white tip because I dont think its even and as bright as I would have preferred it. From a distance, my nails look very nice but up close, I can see the lack of neatness. I go there frequently; they have very nice staff and they do a good job on my eyebrow waxing. I love when the mother of the owner does my pedicure because she gives a great massage on my legs.

Very rude! Kept asking my sister and I if we could hurry up and pick a color they didnt have time to wait while rolling her eyes. She also sneezed and it came out of the side of her mask, definitely not wearing mask properly.

Horrible Experience. Worst quality. I took my sister to get her nails done with me before vacation and got charged $218 for 2 gel manicures and 2 gel pedicures on our natural nails. OUTRAGEOUS. Only for them to completely start chipping and cracking not even 24 hours after getting them done. My sisters were bumpy and some not even painted on the sides. They also randomly airbrushed white onto the tops of her blue polish without even asking her and then charged extra for it. It’s now been a little over 1 day since getting our nails done and we’ve already lost polish on several fingers.

Worst nail salon i have ever been to. she told me she could do a sunflower set for me and made them look like a child did water color on my nails and i said no i dont want this so she took if off and she chose air brush for me and I wanted a dark sparkly blue for accent nail and reg dark blue for the rest. she did my accent nail first and then the reg nail color she said wouldnt come out of the air brush gun so she went ahead and used purple on the rest of my nails without asking me and then wouldnt take off the blue accent nail and let me choose a purple to go with I walked out without paying bcuz she told me she wouldnt change it and told me to go somewhere else. the other customer that was there beside me walked out as well bcuz they cut her and the guy screwed up her nails as well and they were just reg paint no fake nail. pathetic if you ask me.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I left there dripping blood from two fingers due to the butcher job he did on my cuticles. One of my nails is crooked, several are bumpy and wavy. Terrible job.

I got a full set, with 2 stickers on each hand. The gentleman that was doing them kept grinding at my cuticles. To of which bled and is clearly visible. I paid 60$ for crooked, and for blood. Customer service was okay...

I went in for a full set of acrylics and they did a horrible job. The nail tech used a file to do my cuticles which resulted in me bleeding. I was never asked how long I wanted them and the shape is different on each nail. They did barley two coats of polish and I left with a bleeding cuticle and thinly painted nails. I do not recommend this salon.

I got a set put on with polish and the nails look terrible. It’s all bumpy and the paint isn’t even over my whole nail . The coffin shapes aren’t anywhere near similar and the nails are thick. A waste of 55 bucks , literally go anywhere else . Terrible

Got my gel polish taken off and my nails look terrible. Did not even take it all off and charged 10 bucks! Most places do it for free. I’m never coming back.

I come here every time I get the chance, and honestly never disappointed. I usually come as a walk-in in the morning and I get seen within 5-10 minutes. Always a pleasant experience with any of the nail technicians Ive had. The best part is, my gel manicure will last about 3 weeks without peeling, lifting, or chipping. Ive also done acrylics here with gel on top, and my nails looked fabulous. Always felt welcomed and well taken care of.

My first visit to this salon, and I am totally impressed. I have NEVER had a (gel) manicure last a full week without chips, peels, etc. It is now 2 weeks, and my nails are still perfect! I can’t believe it! What is their secret? I’ll be back!

This is the worst nail place I have ever been to. They had no idea what they were doing and ruined my nails. I would never come back here even if someone paid me.

I live nearby and run, drive, and walk past the salon regularly. I havent had my nails done in years due to my person moving away and Im very particular and loyal about who I go to for services. Once I find someone I like and trust then I dont go anywhere else.I decided to try this place out and am so glad that I did!I walked in and there were a couple women getting pedicures as well as another 2 getting manicures. I was immediately greeted by a woman who asked how she could help me. She asked me to sit and we got started.I went in for a full set of gel nails.She was fantastic! She did an excellent job. She was efficient with great attention to detail. I am very happy with my results and will be back.

Great service, beautiful nails, whats left to say? Amazing! The service was great even though we (a large group) arrived a few minutes late for our appointment, and they didnt rush us out even when it was their closing time. Its a little tight when its crowded, but you really cant go wrong here.

My daughter and I came in, she got a full set mani. I got a mani pedi on natural nail. They charged me $140. For both of us. I think they over charged for the service we received. They use the dremel too much. My nails are thin enough.

Love that they are open on Sunday.

Ive been to Nail Studio several times now and Ive been impressed with all of the staff. I have very difficult nails to polish as I am very petite, have very small hands and feet, and keep my nails super short for work reasons. I also have very sensitive nails and cuticles that can bleed easily if not treated delicately. Technician is meticulous and very gentle. I usually get gel french manicure and french polish on the toes. Both usually last for 2 weeks or longer, even with a demanding job where I am on planes traveling daily with large luggage where my toes and nails get hit regularly.

Truly awful. The man did not know what he was doing. I came in for a fill, and he completely destroyed my nail bed and my cuticles. He cut me twice with the filing bit. He packed on a ton of acrylic, even onto the nail bed. I’m assuming he was thinking to put too much on and then file it off, but he burnt me while filing. The paint job was horrible, getting it all over my skin, and not evenly drying. They are super nice, but it’s not worth it. I ended up having them taken off because as the nails grew, the extra acrylic became sharp as it was against my cuticles and he could necessarily file it all of. I have a nail bed close to my cuticles that is so thin, I can’t really even touch it, and it is so red. I will never go back again.

They are awesome!! Extremely personable and fun. Take great care doing manicure and pedicure - attention to detail. Just moved here and have gone twice.... they will be my nail salon from now on!

I usually come here. Trying to set up an appointment over the phone never goes very well. I normally end up waiting anyways. Great work but after I sat down for my pedi, a bridal party came in so I feel as if they rushed me that time so they could get to all of them but other than that everything was fine and my toes look great

I went in for a full acrylic set on Monday here it is 6 days later and I have one nail broke off and 5 or 6 lifting off on the sides. I did change the polish yesterday hoping to hide the lifting. The acrylic is so thin you can see right thru them. My nails look like they need a fill already! I will not go back.

Was amazing! I wish I lived closer bc it would be the only salon I would visit. I made an appointment same day 2 & a half hours before we were going and it was super easy to get ahold of them and to schedule the appointment. We had a party of 5 for pedicures and two acrylic nail sets, we arrived 35 minutes early and they took us almost as soon as we got there no problems. The owners were amazing, very nice and helpful and treated us like special guests. Everyone was very satisfied with what they got in our group!! Will definitely go back if Im in the area again!

Went in for a fill-in and by the next week three nails easily came off. The male who did my fill-in seemed in a rush which is probably why. I had to tell him to file the nails because you can clearly see where they filled it in. Terrible experience, probably will give a second try, probably won’t.

The last 2 times i came in for gel were bad experiences. The first lady didnt look at my nails as she did them and they all turned out uneven not smooth. The second guy cut my finger with a regular nail file, thats how hard he was doing it. Then he ripped my natural nail off while trying to clip off the fake nail. I got charged 5 dollars extra for i dont even know what.

Inexpensive and can be a pretty quick trip if desired. The quality is pretty good. They dry you out under lights+air which seems to dry faster than just the air. They are open earlier than any other salons in town as well, if you need/want nails done in the morning.

Nail Studio is absolutely amazing. I’ve been going there for the last year. Tina does the best work in Bloomington. I’ve been to almost every nail place in Btown. She and her team are the best. She does all of my festival nails and slays them every time. Think twice before you go anywhere else.

Prices are more cheap than most places on Bloomington, the technical skill and attention to detail makes it worth it. Today, they worked magic on my nails - and fixed one that was cracked and looked awful.When I left, my nails felt and looked amazing.

I do not complain at nail places. That is not my norm. Coming here; however, I had to ask the man to stop in the middle of painting my nails because I had polish all over my hands. I wish I could post a picture of the end product. I have extremely long nails with an acrylic overlay. They are not difficult to paint. I came in for a fill. I was not asked if I wanted my nails cut down. I was never allowed to wash my hands during the process. It was so rushed. Typically when I get a fill, it takes around an hour. Today, it took 20 minutes. The messy polish was cleaned up by filing my nails afterwards. I definitely did not leave with a professional looking job. I could have done a neater job painting my nails at home.

This is my go-to nail salon in Bloomington. Aside from maybe needing to wait a little while for a walk-in, this is exactly the experience youd expect from a nail salon. The prices are average for the area, and I have always been pleased with their work!

Unless you want to get crooked nails and get charged $5 to reshape your nails then go here. Ive had bad nail experiences but never had anyone fix my nail by removing the first nail she applied with nail clipper almost yanking it off with my nail & then mess it up the second time exactly how she filled it the first time. The woman left almost all my nails badly shaped and did not even color the nails properly. I was left with nail glue all around my cuticle and $33 later I walked out with nails that girl in beauty school would not leave you with. They offered to fix my nails but at that point all I wanted to do was leave. If it wasn’t 7pm I would’ve had them removed because that’s how unsatisfied I was.

Ive worn acrylic nails for close to 20 years. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon to have a pink & white fill in. I had one nail that needed to be replaced. The man in the salon took off all my nails, then handed me off to a young woman whom he said, She does great pink & white. I have to say, this is the absolute worse job I have ever seen! She had no idea what she was doing, the white is very inconsistent, it doesnt even cover the underneath tip, it took her over an hour to smooth them out, then she put regular top coat on them and set me under the nail dryer! The man must have told her that was wrong, as she came and got me, removed the top coat, put on the gel coating. She had my hand under the UV nail dryer for 30 seconds and then she wiped the gel off. They were not dry and the coating came off! She only charged me $35, so she knew it was a bad job that I was very unhappy with! Ill never go back!

The staff is very nice and willing to make your experience as pleasant as possible. The nails are great.

They do a great job with pedi/mani. I only get the basic clean em up, paint em & go so I cant speak for their fancier services. They massage your calves, feet, hands.

I read some of the reviews , they were mostly negative however I read a tip about . I decided to give this salon a shot . I called on Monday , and scheduled an appointment for a regular pedicure with at 2:15pm .I got to the salon at 2:13pm and took me to one of the pedicure stations right away . She did everything perfectly ! I was in pain for like 2 seconds , because she said I had an ingrown nail . I allowed her to remove it . During the cuticle cutting , she did not once made any cuts or caused me to bleed . For the polishing , she did an awesome job ! I would come back for pedicures .

I kept hearing around town that this place is the best place for nails in Bloomington. As for me trying to find a great nail salon in Bloomington for over 3 years, I am finally very satisfied with my nails. The owner and the employees were very friendly and helpful with great customer service! Their gel nail polish selection was amazing with many different colors, shades, and tones. They even offer a great selection of nail art, such as crystal stones and ombré if you want to be more fancy. Overall, I am very happy with my glitter coffin shaped acrylic nails, and will definitely be back in the future!

My gel does not go to the cuticles, and when i asked for the color to go closer he ignored me. I got a dark color and my nails look like i got the gel done weeks ago. The service was horrible and I would recommend doing your own nails before you go here.

Im lucky I didnt get a foot fungus. It was the most unsanitary nail salon Ive ever been to in my life.The people were nice though, if that counts for anything.

1 week & had an acrylic literally crack apart! No hand massage, they were obviously more concerned with making $85 n 30 min than my mani-pedi experience & results!

This was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a nail salon. Not only did he mess up my nails and make them bleed, but I asked them to take them off and they insisted on giving me new ones without paying. Sure enough, they tried to charge me double what a fill in would have been and I said no. WORST nail job I’ve ever had.

I have tried this place over & over & over again hoping for better service....It’s awful😤 Had to wait for ever, then my pedi and mani was horrible but I still had to pay full price???😳 don’t recommend this place to anyone.

My gel nails look busted. Do not go here. I basically had to tell her how to do everything otherwise my nails wouldve looked even worse. The tips are so thick, its unacceptable but it appeared I was bothering her everytime Id ask for her to fix something. She seemed to be in a rush and I went in the middle of the day.
