This is absolutely the best salon in town. The ladies there are the nicest, most professional, caring souls that you could meet. I have recently had a manicure and pedicure with Julia Meadows. She did such an amazing job on both of my visits, as well as my husband’s pedicure. She took her time making them perfect. I will definitely be going back to her! The wonderful ladies of Halo make me feel so spoiled and pampered on every visit.

I had a very good experience at Halo Salon. I am 67 and was looking for a stylist to give me a haircut that would flatter my face and cut my hair taking advantage of my natural waves. Julia did just that! When I walked in, I wasnt exactly sure of the style I wanted. Julia spent some time with me, didnt rush, and I ended up with a cut I just love. Basically, wash and wear hair. She also highlighted my hair and added a toner for a beautiful, rich and natural color. I am really happy I chose to go to Halo Salon and especially happy to have had Julia as my Stylist. I go to Melissa for wax services. It was very difficult to find a salon that does hard wax but they do! Very inexpensive & quality work!

This salon has to be the most professional salon I’ve EVER been too. All the ladies that work there are nice and do amazing work! If you are ever needing your hair, nails, waxing done this is the place to go to! 5 out of 5 stars! Highly recommend ❤️

I have used Melissa K. at Halo salon for years for my delicate post-chemotherapy hair. She does an amazing job every time. you have to call early because her schedule fills up fast, but she is absolutely worth the wait. Even though I now live out of state, I always arrange my visits home to coincide with my next need for color refresh!

Pd 400$ to go from caramel to silver. Wound up with ash blonde hair with smokey roots. Took her 11 and a half hours. Never again. Dont go there for a transformation. I saw other unhappy ppl walk out if there as well. Heres a before pic and a pic of what I wanted. The last pic is after

Their door says walk ins welcome and they told me that they do appointments only. There were literally zero customers in the salon and two hair dressers doing nothing. Just needed to get my sons hair cut, would have taken them 10 minutes. Their loss, I always tip well.

This is a great salon. I got an adorable pixie cut & I was honestly a bit nervous going from longer hair to such a short style. Jessie made me feel very comfortable! The prices can seem a bit high, but if you find the right stylist for you... it’s worth it.

I moved to Bloomington in August, and I was incredibly nervous to find a new hair salon since Id been seeing the same hair stylist for over a decade back home. However, after doing a ton of research, I decided to try Halo Salon last fall. Melissa cut my hair, and all of my anxiety about finding a new salon vanished.Since that initial trim, Melissa has cut my hair several times--each with slightly different styles--and permed it once. Ive been incredibly happy each time I go to see her, and I think a part of that is because she takes time to talk with her clients and understand what theyre looking for before diving into the cut. Shes an expert, and shes honest: Shell tell you what will work or what wont, and I really appreciate that. Melissa is also super kind. While waiting for my most recent appointment, I watched her help an elderly client into their coat. Its evident that she cares about her clients.Additionally, Ill note that Halo Salon is always a welcoming space. The building is clean, well-lit, comfortable, and fairly home-y. Theres always good music playing, and everyone is friendly.
