Scott’s came and put in a French drain and retaining wall for us. They did the work when promised and completed it in a timely manner. The guys were hard working and cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy with the work they did. We will definitely use them again!

We hired Scotts Exterior Maintenance to replace some floor joists of our deck. They came to do the work and found that our deck substructure was rotted out. This was an unforeseen issue that popped up on the work day that couldnt have been seen at the time of the estimate. As a result, they were very upfront and honest about the situation. They informed us that it was not cost effective to replace the other several deck floor joists and that it didnt make sense to put the new joists into a rotten existing structure. As a result, they were able to only replace 1 of the floor joists because they had ripped the old one out already so there was no support on that section. They charged us the cost of materials for just that single floor joist and the labor to replace that. By being upfront and honest with us, they ended up saving us more than $1000 for that project. They could have just done the work and ran off with our money, but they didnt and thats highly respectable, especially nowadays. Before leaving, they even took the time to give us an estimate for building a new deck so when the time comes to replace the deck, we are prepared. Thank you for being upfront and honest.

I have dogs that are sometimes outside and they will call me to let me know that they are there or coming so I can let the dogs in. We have several large mulch beds/islands on our property; just had a spring leaf/lawn cleanup and mulch refurbishment of those beds. The crew did a great job with the cleanup and did take away all debris including the many ornamental grasses that were cut back. The new mulch looks fantastic. And when done, a good, final clean-up took place so that I could hardly tell they were here. I am pleased.

We had outstanding service from Scott’ Exterior Service. I explained to Scott in the early spring that we needed to have our yard in shape to put on the market. His team cleaned up and treated and fertilized our yard. The yard was looking good in no time, so green and lush. When we were two weeks away from putting our house on the market we requested Scott to have his team put down mulch and do some cleanup up of weeds and remove volunteer trees. Great work on removing two large trees in a difficult location. They expertly took trees down, ground out stumps, removed chips, filled with dirt and planted grass, and all in 3 hours. Price was very competitive, too. When done, except for the newly planted grass, there was almost no indication they had been there. Nice job!

Contacted Scotts over three years ago, wanted to keep my business locally. Scott was out within a day to review the property and provide estimates for removal of mature overgrown bushes and shrubbery. And the design of a stone retaining area for a hosta garden. We have been very pleased with the work that was done. We have continued to retain their services for all of our lawn care, fall and spring cleanup and snow removal. When ever there was an issue with the work preformed, a call or text to Nate or Scott, the issue was resolved quickly. I have also called or texted when the mowing crew or mulching crew has done a job that exceeded my expectations.

Took longer than expect but concrete was done very well. Grass never grew in and weeds took over. Would have like more direction on how to make sure the grass comes in.

Our Condo Association has used Scotts Exterior Maintenance for the last 2 years for lawn care and snow removal and have received excellent service. We appreciate the fact that they only mow the lawn if it needs it and the same for snow removal. In the winter they clean our sidewalks and entrances of snow and ice and provide salt for times when ice accumulates and there is no snow.

Scott worked with us to prep the ground for a shed installation as well as do the landscaping after the sheds arrival. Also did hardscaping around the house on short notice to be ready for some later work. The job site was clean, the work was high-quality, and the prices didnt exceed estimates without a full explanation and opportunity to say no ahead of time. Will absolutely be calling Scott again.

We wasted $127 of grass seed because Scott and Co. put down weed and feed instead of a starter, as requested. When I called Scott to question the bill, he started yelling at me and told me I didnt know what I was talking about. He said his receptionist doesnt know her job and just puts down weed and feed regardless of the service. I had to yell louder than him to get a word in and finally hung up on him.
