We wanted to get all our mulch removed in our front and back landscaping and add brick edging and river rock in all of the landscaping. We looked into several quotes, and Changing Seasons was the most competitive and also got back with us very quickly as well. Our rep Brandt was really easy to work with, and provided all the quote modifications and answers to questions we requested in a timely manner each time. They quickly scheduled work for us, and got all the work done in about a day and a half. The end product was fantastic, they cleaned up quickly after work was complete, and the workers were quick to address any concerns we had as the work was completed. We highly recommend Brandt and his staff at Changing Seasons for any outdoor work you may need, and will definitely look at using them again for any future outdoor projects we might have.

Cant recommend these guys enough! Super quick response time and took the time to come out and learn about what I was wanting done instead of sending a generic quote with no information. Scheduled for April 6th install and the guys arrived right on schedule and had it wrapped up in less than a day! Couldnt be happier with the new pergola over my back patio and looking forward to spending a lot of time out there this summer. Looking forward to working with Changing Seasons again in the future for other projects in my backyard!

I have tried three different lawn service companies over the past 16 years. My lawn looked good, but I was never over the top impressed with the service. I called Changing Seasons and they immediately emailed me a fair estimate. I looked at their reviews and decided to give them a try. I was very impressed with their service guy, John. He was very particular and thorough with the application. I have been very pleased with their prompt and professional service and will continue doing business with them.

To put it bluntly, this business is nice (at the beginning) but their work is terrible and their customer service is even worse. My husband contracted them to work on our front landscape last year. Either the work poor in quality or they messed something up completely. For example, we wanted bigger rock so the rocks would not get in the grass and we wanted it sloped in a way that it would not be as steep. They used the wrong sized rocks AND the slope was just as steep if not more so my husband has to constantly pick up rock out of our lawn. One of the worse parts? He told them about the wrong size rocks while they were in the process of laying them down. Their response was to cover the small rocks with the correct sized rocks (we already had small rocks before) and charge us the whole bill. Part 2 of the worse part, they do not communicate well except for that fact they want us to pay them (which havent yet) and now they are charging us interest. They wont even respond to the BBB when a complaint was filed last year. We have now submitted another complaint to get the job right. I would SERIOUSLY stay away from this company if I were you!

Friendly, Brandt is super responsive and incredibly helpful. Fence looks great! They also do my fertilizer and weed control and are in and out quickly

Brandt was recommended to us by multiple people throughout Bloomington-Normal. He came out and quoted us for sod installation and a new set of stairs leading to our back deck. The price was fair and the project was done in a timely manner. We did have an issue with the staircase they installed.. and as promised.. they came back out and fixed it promptly. I’m so happy with our backyard and staircase.. would highly recommend. Brandt listens to his customers and doesn’t take any complaints to heart.

Jared was amazing! He was very professional hard working, and he answered all my questions. The other guy he brought with him the next was great too. I spent 17 years in customer service industry and Id say he has great customer service skills! Just wanted to share! Had a patio put in and Brandt was very professional and did a great job. Had some issues with the way the yard was graded and he explained what he could do. Something my kids and I love sitting on.

Hired for masonry repair. When I contacted Brandt with the dissatisfaction of the conditions my home was left in, he did not reach out to me himself - he had the subcontractor he hired to do the job contact me. The subcontractor asked us for more money because he said he was not fully aware of all of the work that we contracted with Changing Seasons. We received a bill much higher than our agreed upon price, I paid the full amount and sent an email indicating my dissatisfaction and never received any follow-up. I have damaged flowers and plants, and the brickwork is sub-par. Would NOT recommend,

HORRIBLE. Brandt is a joke. Never returns phone calls or emails. Did a quote then sent a bill that was significantly higher and didnt explain why or return calls or emails. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

We recently used Changing Seasons to spray the side of our house that had algae on it. I wish I had taken a before picture to show the AWESOME job they did. There is NO algae and what’s even better is unlike some other businesses they didn’t have to put any vehicle into our side yard. They left nothing behind and was even careful our our yew bushes we have on that side of the house. We will definitely be using them again to update our rock landscape and more!

UPDATE: The company continues to send me bills expecting me to pay when they StILL have not completed the job correctly. This company has 2 complaints against them. With the first BBB complaint, the company would not even respond to them. I doubt they will respond to you after you pay them. So the lesson here is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Also check out their Yelp! reviews too because it shows more of poor work this company does. Yelp, at the time of this writing has 4 reviews by various people and they are all 1 star. I would have given them no stars if that was possible.If I could give them 0 star rating I would. I contracted Changing Seasons to work on my landscaping bed in front of my house. The most of the work was done incorrectly and some was not done at all. With a few exceptions the remaining work was sub-par. I have texted and emailed for someone to reach out to me with no response at all...with one exception...a bill. I can provide a copy of the estimate to show what they promised to do and how badly they failed. The estimate summary 1) Edging- Installing fondulac. This was done and the job was okay. 2) Landscaping fabric- This was laid down but because the fabric was cut short of the perimeter rock/asphalt, I have an ongoing problem with weeds growing along the edges of the landscape bed. 3) Plant material- I received the plants but were told that they would be 3 gallon plants. Some could not possibly be 3 gallon plants because they were smaller than an individual bottle of water bought from the store. 4) Plant Installation- Done and good. 5) Rock Installation- This is a MAJOR one. I had smaller rock before and because of the slope of the land, rocks would end up in the lawn during semi-hard rain. It was a pain to get these small rocks out of the grass constantly. Due to this reason, I wanted 1 1/2 shadow rock which would not move as easily and even if they did, it would be easier to put back into the landscape bed. There was a miscommunication (according to the landscaping crew) and small rocks were being installed. I happened to be on a break from work, saw the mistake and told them to stop because they got the wrong rock size. I texted the office person and she replied that it was intentional. Two different explanations AND I was never told that small rocks would have to be put down. 6) Excavation- The ground was not leveled enough. When I told the crew in the middle of the project, they said it would cost more $ to fix it. 7) Dirt- I am skeptical that they applied 1 ton of dirt to the bed. 8) Seeding- Done but sub-par. 9) I reached out after the bill was received...again, no response!

Used Changing Seasons on a landscape project, things turned out great. Job was done in a timely manner without loss of quality. Highly recommend.

Outstanding work on my patio & fire pit. Little things that seemed above & beyond expectations. Id use them again without a doubt.
