Came in for an eyebolt/eyescrew/U-bolt...something to hook my TRX bands to. Encountered a helpful, but not TOO helpful employee. He didnt talk down to me (a woman dressed in business casual) as I only wanted to confirm where the hardware section was in this particular store. After a few minutes of browsing, deciding on which eyebolt or U-bolt may work best he followed up and asked if I needed help with anything. I said I could use some more 3/8 washers, he showed me right to them and then let me be. In and out in 10 minutes with my items in hand and without feeling condescended.COVID-19 Note: Employees not wearing masks (loses it a star), but again didnt make any comments about my wearing one. They were selling masks on the front register that looked pretty high quality.

I come here for everything! Their staff treats everyone like their favorite neighbor. They are incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful whenever I come in looking for a solution to a problem, they are happy to help walk through the ideas and ways to go about them.I also just found the perfect bird feeder!

A great hardware store with helpful people.

Middle of a pandemic and this business lets an employee run around with no mask on despite having a sign on their door requiring them. Worst part is she doesnt even keep 6ft away from you. People tout them as neighborly but this kind of presentation shows you dont care about your customers health and wellbeing.

Helpful staff, but went there for its proximity to where I was visiting and paid the price $$$. While Im no stranger to shopping in mom and pop stores for convenience, the mark up here is a bit high. Glad to support them this time, but wont always be able to.

When I pulled up, Karen I think her name was came up to my car and asked if I needed help. She made my keys and sold me hand sanitizers. She was also a ball of joy. Sanitized my card and chatted a minute. I love this store. I’m coming back for air filters and fluorescent bulbs.

I love hardware stores and this one does not disappoint. Jammed into every nook and cranny are the most wonderful and some times (to me anyway) mysterious things. I am always met by happy people willing to help me find what I want and also willing to let me freely browse

Over the last three years I have shopped here more and more. It has become my first choice over the local Home Depot and Menard’s mainly due to the outstanding customer service I receive. The advice I receive from the staff is invaluable. Everything I have needed has always been in stock. I have had my lawn mower repaired and garden tools sharpened by PLTV and have been extremely happy. All in all a great local hardware store staffed by super smart, friendly people.

My go to hardware store, I like that its not crazy busy like the Home Depot. Always someone to greet you and answer any questions. They did a really good job tuning up my snowblower before the season, glad we brought it in!

Brought my lawn mower in to be winterized. When I picked it up I had been charged $90 dollars for them to change a spark plug, change oil, change an air filter, and sharpen the blade. The lawn mower was returned to me dirty. Full of this past summer seasons dirt. Most of it easily cleanable with a rag. My problem is when I had brought my lawn mower in the previous year for the same service. It was returned to me cleaned and looking immaculate. So expectations going forward were set. All they were willing to do i was take 5 dollars off the total invoice. I have no problem with the cost of the service but I feel that the minimum effort put into the service was a complete rip off and unprofessional.To be fair the reviews by others on this site are fairly accurate. I have lived in the neighborhood for over 4 years and I always tried to go to them first for things before I go to the big box stores. They have great customer service. You cant make it 5 feet into the store most days without being greeted by their hospitable staff whom are very helpful in getting you in and out quickly.There are plenty of hardware stores in the area I could spend my money at. So it is vital that if you set a standard. You uphold it year after year. Especially for $90. When the customer is unhappy and explains to you that your store performed the service better last time. Dont give them the cold shoulder and offer 5 dollars off. Earn my business. Give me a reason to keep going to you instead of the other guy just down the road. You will earn my business year after year over the other guy.Unfortunately for you I feel this is enough of an insult to not bother with your store ever again. Called and asked about renting a lawn airiator how the rental worked since they close in a hour, and they said it would need to be back at 8am tomorrows morning. I drove up there to rent it and now they tell me they cant rent it because they close this evening. Why didnt you tell me this in the first place? Waste of my time.

The typical old fashioned hardware store run by people with an almost unlimited knowledge of plumbing, gardening, and carpentry etc. Whatever little screw, bolt, tool, part you need they have it and know about it, guaranteed.
