Distinctive Cleaning has a wonderful program that offers complimentary cleaning service to those struggling through chemotherapy. What a fantastic offering. My family had reached out and Jennifer was very quick to reply and get our home on their schedule. The ladies came out and were 5 minutes early to the scheduled appointment and did a great job with our home. We were very much appreciative! We recommend the folks from Distinctive Cleaning, youll be happy w them!

On Sunday May 31st 2015 My fiance witnessed a white van pull up to the side of my home and use my hose spigot with a hose from their van for about an hour. On the side it said Professional and Thorough Carpet and Upholstery cleaning but had no company name or number. She got a picture of the hose being run through our yard and of the vans license plate. I called the Chaska Police and gave them the license plate and they followed up saying it was a company called Distinctive Cleaning out of Apple Valley. The officer told me the owner had said that if their employees hooked up to my hose spigot he wanted to make it right. He also said his team was working on an apartment building to the south of my house and was hooked up to their water and not mine. Clearly he was not aware I have a picture proving that they or the owner are lying. When I called the number on the website for the Apple Valley location (which is the same as the Bloomington number) it was supposedly forwarded to some woman who USED to work for them. So I sent them an email and received no response. Clearly no one is taking me seriously or the owner has no interest in making it right. I will NEVER do business with a company that clearly has such low moral or ethical standards as to use someones private property without asking and then lie about it to the police. All Im asking for is an apology and some sort of follow up with the employees who clearly have no respect for someones private property.

I purchased a Crowd Cut coupon for 3 cleaning services on July 20, 2011. I left two messages to schedule services. The calls were never returned. When I got through the third time, on Aug. 22, I was told that they were booked out through Thanksgiving and that I had to schedule all cleaning sessions no later than Jan. 15. Since I only require monthly cleaning service, this was not acceptable. The manager I spoke to was very rude. She explained that the rules of use were clearly stated on the coupon, and that the services had to be used in the time frame identified. There was no consideration for the fact that they had obviously oversold their services and that the delay in scheduling was their fault, not mine. I have purchased many Crowd Cut and Groupon specials, and other merchants in similar oversold situations have been more than happy to accomodate the deal as long as the services were scheduled (but not necessarily delivered) by the expiration date.If this is how they treat their customers, I am more than happy to take my business elsewhere. I think they could use an education in customer service.

I bought a Crowd Cut and the cleaning did occur, unlike for other reviews Ive seen. They did an average job compared to other cleaning services Ive had. The reason for the low rating is that they have now fraudulently charged my credit card for a service they did not perform. I have twice called and been told it was their error and the money would be credited to my card within 5-7 business days. It has been close to a month and the money has not been returned to me.

This is the WORST CLEANING EXPERIENCE and customer service we have experienced from a cleaning company. I have an entire list of things that were not completed with attention to detail, including, but not limited to:- Kitchen Sink not clean (I am not sure it was even attempted)- Most small kitchen appliances not wiped/dusted- Kitchen counters not even cleaned beneath canisters or canisters wiped- Bathroom tub and sink faucets not adequately cleaned, nor soap holder in tub (which only holds a razor - so not a mess but has staining that comes off when cleaned)- Some floors that were mopped are a smeared mess- Stairs only vacuumed with upright, leaving back and side crevices dirty- Many places were not dusted well- And my favorite.... The floor play mat in a childs bedroom was left totally untouched, as was under the bed. These are wood floors that only need a dust mop or a vacuum to easily fit under a bed -- the vacuum never even went to that level of the home.My home takes a good 4 hours to adequately clean it. I have often had 2 people at a time put in 2 hours together (still adding up to 4), and have had wonderful results. I am not that hard to please, but I know what things look like when they are clean. I am not talking about spotless, but CLEAN. We received 3 hours of cleaning and even paid a different price than quoted on the phone, (more than quoted). The price quoted plus tax didnt even add up to final cost.When calling to complain and ask for an adjustment, my husband was met with all kinds of excuses and an Assistant Manager who would rather interrupt and talk over a person than discuss the situation, and said an adjustment would not be made because everyone can just say it wasnt done well. Honestly, we have better things to do than try to recoup an hours worth of cleaning cost if it was undeserved. The only option was to come back over and inspect the situation. Forget it, you had your chance in my home, and if this is the way they deal with clients, no thank you. Oh, and by the way, my husband tipped their employed VERY well for her time. She was lucky I was gone when she got ready to leave, because she would not have been leaving at that 3 hour mark, especially if I had been here to look around!Look elsewhere for a company that does great work, and has higher ethics than to basically accuse their customers of of trying to defraud them. My husband bought this service as a Mothers Day Gift, had I been involved I would have either used, Home Neat Home or The Cleaning Authority. Both of those companies have provided excellent service when we have used them. Too bad my husband did not know who best to call.Oh, and you know the saying, You only get one first impression, they called the day of my first appointment to reschedule.

They destroyed my paint with bleach and never repaired and threatened to take my house and child when i wouldnt pay.

They were cheap, but didnt do a great job and put a hole in the wall taking their carpet cleaner up the steps
