Over night stay is welcomed here. I believe u have to leave in the 🌅 Ng but u can come back in the evening around 6pm.

I waited for hours in the rain on the porch wearing a rain poncho trying to stay warm and dry. I filled out my paper with my information on it to get into the place for the night. A man came out and told me he saw me cuss out one of the staff members. Which is a complete lie!!! He told me I couldnt go into the shelter for 90 days!!! I had to leave and walk in the dark rain and find somewhere to go. Horrible experience!!!

I stayed here about 10 years ago when it was under a different name. While I was there the staff helped me to enroll in college, as well as help me gain full-time employment. Ten years later and even with the covid pandemic, I am about to graduate with my masters degree. Life doesnt always go as planned but keep your head up and things will happen for you. I am now happily married with three beautiful children.

This is a blessing on cold nights and the workers are saints No human should have to put up with what they do any given work night ! And for those of you who say they dont help anybody get a place Thats because u have to do that .This is a stepping stone!THANKFUL!!!GRATEFUL!!! FOR A WONDERFUL PLACE!

If you need assistance with temporary housing for the night Friends Place has clean beds, great staffing and a caring atmosphere.
