Bicycle Garage made me happy with my old mountain bike again. I got a great tune up and comfortable seat. I rode to the shop with the intention of leaving the bike and getting done whatever it needed. They gave a solid recommendation regular tune up nothing fancy to get my bike ready and had it done fast.

Update: After speaking with Trek customer service, it finally looks like this issue will be taken care of once and for all.So the issue is with Trek, trying to be cheap about fixing a known warranty problem. The first time a warranty claim is made regarding the chain, they send a cheap plastic chain guide which does nothing at all. If it happens again (which it always does) they then replace the OEM chain ring with a narrow wide chain ring.__________________I bought an Trek Verve ebike from Bicycle Garage in Fall 2019. The chain kept slipping off, get wedged where only the shop could get it back on. This happened a dozen times throughout 2020 and Spring 2021. Summer 2021, after getting the bike back after yet another chain popping off, Bicycle garage informs me that Trek had issued a warranty repair concerning the chain issue and it was good to go.Yet not a month later, the chain came off again, back to shop, repaired (this time they replaced the chain and charged me for it), and you guessed it ... the next day the chain was back off. UGH!!!So this time, out of the goodness of their heart, Bicycle Garage came and picked up the bike to repair, and figure out what is really wrong. Meanwhile, I google Trek eBike chain issues and up pops the known issue and how to fix. Apparently it is a well known issue with a simple fix. What I have a problem with is that the post was from JULY 2020 just a few months after I first took in my bike with the problem.Right now my bike is still at Bicycle Garage and they are expecting the piece by the end of the month. They have had the bike since Aug 12.This is not the customer service I expected from Bicycle Garage.

There is no better bike shop in Indiana to purchase a bike or have bike services completed. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.This is the only bike shop I can depend on to keep our bikes safe and dependable.Thanks Bicycle Garage!

The people here are so friendly, there have been times where Ive had issues with my bike and I bring it in and they help me as best they can. Even when picking out a basket for my bike then explain the different attachments and didnt seem to be up-selling me. It also made my life a lot easier when they helped to attach the basket I bought since parts of the bike needed to be detached first.

Staff is always helpful and ready to help me troubleshoot any issues I might currently be experiencing.

It was a great experience! My kudos especially to Jacob for being a delightful person to talk to during the past couple of months of me deciding on the sick Bridgestone bike I purchased from yall. It rides well, was tuned up prior to purchase, and the team even helped a brother out by adding a quick release to the seat post, which made my life much easier when fitting the bike for my partner.

Quick turnaround on a tune-up for a very old Soma Cosmopolitan steel frame.The shifter cables needed to be redone, the wheels trued up, and the derailleurs tended to (they were pretty bent).It rides like a completely different bike now. Im stoked to use it on the commute to my shop.

I went in to look at some bikes and eventually buy one. OK, they were out of stock of the ones I was most interested in; but the sales rep was super unhelpful. He would just say well we dont have that; well we dont have that either; not that one either; no suggestion, no recommendation, nothing. I suspect they dont make a whole lot on selling bikes, and yes, I was interested in hybrid bikes which are not cool. But once I have one, I will take it to service elsewhere too, so they just lost a customer.Edit: the problem was not the unavailability of bikes but the customer service. I went to another shop in town that did not have bikes either, but they at least asked me what I was looking for, had some recommendations, and we had a good chat. I ended up buying a bike online that none of the stores around here carried anyway -- but I have taken it for service to that other shop just because they were *trying to be* helpful.

Came in looking for some help figuring out how to install a headset on my mountain bike. One of the guys there was able to pop off the cups that were stuck to the frame like cement and they gave me advice which led to me being able to fix the bike later that day. Awesome customer service and all for free!

Brad was super. Ordered an Electra Cruiser and it arrived in a few days. Brad had it ready for my test ride and made some adjustments. Installed a bike rack and attached a basket. Very patient. I am very pleased with the quality of the product (Trek Verve 3) that I purchased about a year ago. For a fatter tire bike, I was impressed with the smooth ride and handling. The guys at the Bike Garage resurrected my old hard rock mountain bike. It’s like having a new bike. I had problems with a shifter they put on . Having looked at it twice, they determined it needed a whole new shifter. Great people!

Bicycle Garage Inc. I was given a used Scott by my land lord from some one that had left it behind. I had not used a bike in about 25 years and had long for gotten even how to change a Tire. I have spent about 500 so far with upgrades , repairs and or general maintenance. This is not the only Bike shop in town . Yet this is the only one that gives a discount to those with Bloomington Foods . My experience is limited to shopping for parts to fix my own bike.In general, my experience has been positive. While Ive only been in and out for small things, they have helped me quickly and in a profession manner. I bought a tire from them, which was damaged within the warranty time and they replaced it free of charge (I didnt even realize there was a warranty).The hours are a bit limited, but I have no complaints otherwise.

I went to Dicks Sporting Good because it was Sunday and I NEEDED a bike tire.... bad mistake. They messed my bike up pretty bad to the point where the chain popped while I was full speed peddling and I flipped. Not a big deal... I got scuff, but was more pissed about the bike. Manager offered to have the bike fixed there, I declined. Their service sucked any ways. Tube blew sitting in the sun 3 days later, i.e. today while chilling out front of my house.My guy Jacob at The Bike Garage had my back. Hooked me up with a new tube installed and the chain popping issue fixed and tire and tube installed for 20. They rock.

Advice is always good (and in the best interest of the customer) and service is timely and always done right the first time.

Ive never been so unhelped in my life. I did tons of research while looking into buying my first bike that didnt come from a big-box store. When I went in the store to pose a few questions and explain what I was looking for the salesman pointed to the road bike rack and the hybrid rack, said I probably wanted to choose between one of those (which I already knew) and walked away. I walked out and wont ever be going back.

Was on the fence about BG until now, they really sold me.Dropped off my Trek Stache I had just purchased (secondhand) for a brake bleed. Long story short the guy had put the wrong fluid in the brakes rendering them useless. The guys at the shop did 2 1/2 bleeds because they were puzzled at first until realizing the issue. They were able to finish before I expected. (Dropped off Monday right before close got it Wednesday right after close.) They stayed late so I could get my bike and replace the brakes with old ones had and was able to get on the road for our trip to Michigan!In total charged me $20 for labor on im sure was a 2ish hour job.
