Honda recently, and is currently, advertising a 0% interest rate for their 2021 and remaining 2020 new vehicles. I am told this is a first for Honda. I decided to go to see about the details and if there would be an update for my 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L. Its been exactly 1 week since my wife and I rolled out of OBrien Honda in our new Odyssey and we cant have made a better decision! Ive always been one to hunt for the best deal which would have me going to either Chicago or St. Louis for all my previous cars. To anyone looking to do that in this market - please consider your options with local dealerships. That whole proces has grown to be entirely too cumbersome and overall - just a big time toilet.This time around I decided to start local. Working and spending most of my time in Peoria, I decided to start there. Between 3 dealerships and 5 salesmen over the course of 3 months, I found it difficult to obtain the information I was looking for. Frustrated, I turned to the dealers in my neck of the woods. I called in to Honda here since they had a few used vehicles (between Toyota and Honda) that I was interested in. The receptionist put me through to the first available salesman which happened to be none other than Mr. Phillip Clark. With 3 phone calls over the span of 2 hours Phil had provided me with much more information than I was after. He was practical in addressing my questions and he was the utmost honest salesman Ive ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. And a mere 48 hours following our first conversation, Phil had found our vehicle and we were well on our way to making our next vehicle purchase. What was by far the best part hands down - we werent going to wait 1 to 3 months to get our new car. Phil and the sales team at OBrien Honda somehow tracked our van down and had it at the dealership within 2 or 3 DAYS!!! When the van arrived I got a few texts from Phil with a walk around video that made my wife overly excited. From the first call with Phil down to our final congratulations from Karen Castronova (Business and Finance) the whole process was by far the easiest Ive experienced. Everyone we dealt with spoke to us with honesty and integrity all while making this process fun! And thats the way everyone should operate as a team in sales. I had such a good experience with the service department. My alternator was bad and my battery was completely dead. I was without a car and Patrick West in Service went above and beyond to help me get my car back to me as fast as possible knowing that I had no other means of transportation. He turned what was supposed to be a two week job into a 3 day job. Absolutely incredible and I am so grateful!!

Matt Couch is THE MAN - 10/10. I had a 2012 Honda Pilot and came in for leasing details for a 2021 Pilot (Special Edition). I came in around 12:30 during lunch and before I knew it, my trade in amount was given to me, the monthly payment of the lease was right around what I wanted and I was signing for the purchase of my very first, brand new vehicle. When going to ask for a salesman, ask for Matt Couch as he’s a patient man, answers every single question you may have with a smile and will bring around his demo car and give you the keys to it because it’s the exact one you want. It was washed and detailed within an hour after signing the paperwork and I was on my way in about 3 hours in my new 2021 Special Edition Pilot. Thanks for the tremendous experience, Matt 👍🏻

I have serviced my vehicles at this location for 6 years. I recently took my car in for an oil change and they always do a complimentary inspection. They give you a list of recommended items that need attention and the pricing. Some items on the list are based solely by mileage, some should be based upon physical inspection. On my recommended list of repairs were engine and cabin filters for $110 and Needs Immediate Attention. I knew they didnt physically inspect them because I personally replaced both 4k miles ago. Also on my list was 4 Service 4 cylinder tune up for $718. I explained they just did that service in April 2020 (only 8K miles prior). I was advised it was not in their system correctly and didnt show they already done it. Ok, things happen I guess. The reason I am writing this review is this has happened to me on more than one occasion at this dealership. I think they have some great mechanics but I have lost faith in their vehicle inspection reports. My advice is keep your own service records if you dont already it may save you some money.

My son was looking for a used Honda. We have had several Hondas in the past and had great luck with all of them. OBrien Honda had a large selection of vehicles. We looked at a used Accord that was in great shape. Our salesman, Justin Farris, showed us the car and without asking, provided the Car Fax and service report on the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and was not a high pressure sales person. He stayed on top of the purchase process which shortened the time spent in the dealer on the day we picked up the car. Justin answered all of our questions and has followed up with us after the purchase to make sure we are still pleased. We are very happy with our purchase and will definitely look at OBrien Honda again when we purchase another vehicle.

I went to test drive a CR-V. I was hoping to buy either brand new or a couple of years old. Made an appt with Jason at 1:00. He had a used CR-V all ready for me to test drive when I arrived. Jason talked to us about the newer vehicles and their prices, warranties, etc along with the used one that I test drove, so that I could weigh the options. The .9% financing Honda is offering is fantastic, so off to Karen to help us on the financing side! She was also terrific answering all my questions about the extended warranty. I recently purchased a 2021 Honda Pilot Elite from OBrien Honda of Bloomington! It was an awesome experience. I worked with Jason Goble- he walked me through all of the options, discussed pricing over the phone and they delivered my car to my drive way. They even picked up my trade and drove it back to the store. I had to sign a few things which took 15 min. Definitely a great experience and so safe/convenient.

We stopped on a cross country drive because the splash shield beneath our civic was dragging and making a royal racket. Even though we had no appointment they did their best to fit us in promptly. The service staff was very friendly and helpful and kept us updated. They didnt charge to remove the shield. Although we were just passing through I was really impressed.

He had our Odyssey ready when we first arrived, showed us all the features, and took his time with explaining and answering all our questions. Elijah at O”brien Honda was so helpful in the process of leasing a new vehicle and spent a lot of time with us to make sure we got exactly what we wanted.

I used their service department twice. The first I had all the fluids flushed. At the end of the appointment I get a message saying I need new wiper blades, battery, cabin filter, and engine filter all for $700. Interesting fact is that I have K & N reusable filters for both cabin and engine with a sticker staing the fact that they are reusable. Yet they still tried to sell me new filters. Windshield wipers were bad and they did need replaced but not for the $223 they quoted me for. Second trip they hit me with around $800 worth of work for cleaning the fuel induction service and cylinder cleaning for $830. I asked the reason for this and they said it just needs done.I asked to speak to a manager from the professional lady working the front desk and she proceeded to a counter with an older man behind the counter with a younger man leaning on it talking. I observed from a distance the two men look at me and then must have told her they didnt want to deal with me. The lady went to the back as the two men looked at me again and laughed. I mentioned this to the lady who claimed to be a manager who shrugged it off.I will not be getting my vehicle serviced there again and would advise customers to verify the work done before leaving. There was even another gentleman at the location that had issues and I over heard the manager say to him that the technican looked at it at the wrong angle which made it look worse. Be very cautious when using the service department.

I just came in to sit in an Accord Hybrid and see if I fit, but from the moment Patty enthusiastically greeted me at the front door I found myself on a whirlwind tour of all that Honda had to offer, and ended up getting a 2020 Honda Insight. Not only was I impressed how well I fit in the car considering how enormous I am, but it really took a special salesperson like Patty to convince me to break my lifelong streak of exclusively driving police cars/old man sedans. Thanks for all the help!

Great service! I had car troubles driving through the area during a heavy snow storm and called on my way to say I was coming. Unfortunately, I arrived after the techs went home for the day; however, the service advisors stayed late to see what they could do. I had been looking for a car for a bit before I stumbled across a 2011 Camaro at O’Brien Honda. Checked it out after hours and came to know it had just been traded a day or two before. I went the next day to test drive it, and was greeted by a nice fellow - Elijah Simpson. Elijah was a great salesperson from the start. After test driving the first time, I felt no need to hurry and purchase the car. There was no pressure whatsoever. After test driving the Camaro a second time, I made up my mind that I wanted to drive it for the rest of my life. This was my first time buying a car, let alone buying from a dealership. It was a decent price but no steal, as expected. I greatly appreciate Elijah’s time, and I have to say it was a bit fun. I did not drive the Camaro home the day I signed papers, but that was my fault. I found the car before they even inspected it. OOPS. The car was indeed worth it, though.Thanks again Elijah!!
