I needed new tires and had a specific tire in mind. Ray spent time with me going over my options without pushing any sale or timeline on me. He was very patient and explanatory. He even went the extra mile in finding a better priced tire with a different seller. Mark also helped out with scheduling and getting me squared away with additional options. Service was quick, and I appreicate the rental car option.The only disappointment:Employees at the front desk not wearing a mask while multiple clients and employees were in the store. This is disappointing on a day with record breaking infections, hospitalizations and deaths. Please wear a mask.

Best in the Twin Cities! I have been to Poquet Auto, Bobby and Steves and many of other shops and this is the best! You get an oil change and they dont leave oil stains on the door handles, under hood, nothing! I bring my classic car here and could not be happier!! Highly recommended!!!!

I had been looking for a new auto shop I could trust after having a bad go of things with another shop. I discovered this place did all auto services after stopping in there to buy tires for my wifes car, and decided to give their mechanics a shot since I had such a good experience. I then later had the brakes worked on our other car, and the experience again was top notch. These guys are absolutely great! Their customer service is some of the best I have ever had at any auto shop. Mark and Dave are both super friendly, and informative. They were communicating with us through all steps of the process, and made us feel very welcome and secure about our decision to choose this shop. I also have to give a big thank you to Kevin. He did great work. I spent 12 years in the Air Force as a jet engine mechanic, so my standards are pretty high. I often find that I nit pick other mechanics craftsmanship a bit, but not with Kevin. The quality of his work was excellent, and when a problem was discovered with the vehicle he even took me back to the garage to show me what was going on so I again felt secure about the whole process. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing work on their car.

I was referred to this facility by a friends trusted mechanic and I am sure glad I made the call. I was unable to get into my normal guy but I might just have a new place now! Not only did they squeeze me into their busy day but they also fixed the problem and then diagnosed another all with a price I was actually happy with. I also just got a thank you card from them in the mail!!!, That kind of personal touch is something you just dont hear about any more. Highly Recommended!!! I was told that there is new ownership and I definitely did not see what the old reviewers were saying.

I had been a long time customer of this shop, right up to the moment they broke my car and made me pay for the repair.First they left me to sit in the waiting area without telling me what had happened. After an hour and a half I asked the guy working the desk and he went to check. Ten minutes later he came back and asked me to come back into the shop which is where he showed me that the mechanic had broken the dipstick and dipstick tube on my car. I asked what they were going to do about it and the mechanic mumbled something about plugging the hole. I told the desk guy that was unacceptable and that they broke it so they would fix it. He went to talk to the manager leaving me to stand there for twenty minutes. The manager finally stepped out and told me he talked to a Volkswagen dealer and was assured that this is a common issue and that they would not pay for the repairs (estimated at $40 by the manager). After about ten minutes of going back and forth with this guy I asked if there was anything I could say to change his position and he said that there wasnt. At this point I figured I need my car so I told them to fix. I then walked the three miles back home as they didnt even have the decency to ask if I needed a ride. They called later that afternoon and I went to get my car. At this point the guy ringing up the bill tells me the cost will be $110. He shows me that the parts are $45 and the labor is $65. I balked at this and the manager conceded to comp the labor costs.I will never do business with the Twin City Tire again. In the past I have referred friends to them but that ended when a short sighted manager wouldnt repair damages caused by his employee. I can only hope that the mechanic flushed the oil like he said he would to get out any small bits that fell in the crankcase when he broke my dipstick and tube. I dont have great faith that he did. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere with some integrity.

These guys are honest and good at what they do. Helpful and saved me a lot of money. Not only were the prices fair, but also gave me a couple coupons that saved me some money. Owning a German car is not cheap to maintain but these guys rock!

I came in on my birthday to get an oil change and my tires rotated bought at Tire City. I was told when I presented coupon I could not use my own oil (full synthetic), I would have to pay $65.99 for the oil change. I will NEVER go back I will take my business elsewhere except for my free tire rotation!

Didnt pick up on a open day Saturday.

I got new tires here and there were no issues. I came back 3 weeks later to get my oil change.They came up and said oh by the way your tires were over 40, we lowered it for you(they made it seem like they did me a favor). Little did they know is that they were the ones who did my tires 3 weeks ago.My tires even say ON THEM do not put over 40....I drove like this for 3 weeks....what if I never checked my tires again for months?!By the way, oil change took 2 hours because 5 guys were working on this one customer and I was obviously not as important. Ridiculous.

I stopped in not long before closing (half hour). They were clearly wrapping up for the day but made time to inspect and repair my tire. Small nail, small job; big service. Ive been places where they just say cant get to it until tomorrow in this kind of situation. Not here. Reasonable price too. Ill be back.

Was not pleased with my experience.

Today in very slippery winter conditions a pickup truck did a slow 540 degree spin on the interstate in front of me. As I came to a stop with anti-lock brakes chattering but straight and true, I thanked Twin City Tire for their recommended General Altimax all-season tires, for the superb brake job and the 4 wheel alignment work they did. My 2009 Hyundai Accent handles better now than it did with the OEM equipment.

The only place to bring your vehicle! It doesnt matter if it is a 1929 Ford, or a 1964 Oldsmobile, or a 2015 Mercedes! These guys know how to make sure that your tires, steering, suspension, and engine are in great shape! They know their stuff and know what it takes to make the vehicle right, and most importantly they know how to treat their customers!

I had a coupon for a $17.99 oil change. They said that only included 4 quarts of oil. So the oil change ended up costing me $24.99. The mechanic who did my oil change forgot to put my oil cap back on. They resolved the issue by cleaning the oil mess, topping off the oil, and giving me a refund. Next time I need an oil change Ill go back to Firestone for the $19.99 oil change. For mechanical problems I go to Erics repair, an honest mechanic!

I trust this place 100% Kevin is always so patience and welcoming. Will always bring my car here and I will always recommend this place.

I have gone here off and on for many years. A few years ago, they had pretty good customer service and seemed very knowledgeable about tires. A couple of years ago, they charged almost $600 for a repair that did nothing (and that I later found out they should have known was not causing my problem). I took it back and they wanted to do the exact same thing again. More recently, I called for a potential tire repair and was unimpressed with the customer service. An overall lack of interest in my business and a rude tone in response to my questions. I will not be going here ever again.

I brought my 1971 Chevelle in for an alignment and was very pleased with the service and quality of the work.

Good prices and great service...they topped off the Nitro in my tire with no questions ask. This is the 2nd set of tires I got from these guys and I will be back again.

Went in for tire rotation, and was told the car needed new tie rods and ball joints and new seals. (They has noticed it leaking a little oil.) .Took it to two other shops, and they said that it didnt need all of the work I was being quoted. And oil leak was coming from engine, not seals. Saved myself $850 by getting two separate opinions.

Machines are completely inaccurate or they will straight lie to your face. Its a disgrace and and shocking. I grew up in Bloomington and thought they were reputable. After an actual experience there this is a warning.I was asked to go to Twin City Tire for a 2nd opinion on my alignment by Paul, from Twin City Auto Body.Backstory: Twin City Auto Body repaired my car after an accident that bent the back frame of my car. I went there to ask if they fixed the alignment because I recently got new tires and they said the back alignment was off and not something they can fix. They also said something major would have caused this i.e., the accident that bent my car frame. At the same time I had been getting estimates to repair some damage to the side of my car. I went to Twin City Auto Body to get an estimate for the side and ask if they fixed my alignment when they fixed my car. Paul looked at my records and said no, then asked me to go to Twin City Tire for a 2nd opinion. He said he would call them to let them know I was coming and why.The info Twin City Tire gave me didnt even come close to the info I was given when I got all nee tires or the info from the other body shops. It did however match a conversation he would have had with Paul. TCT even tried to tell me my rim was bent. I couldnt have gotten new tires put on if that was the case. I told the guy Paul talked w/at TCT I didnt believe him and asked for a computer prinout. I left there and got a third opinion and it matched the first computer anlysis exactly.That was a massive use of my time - running around proving which information was accurate. The way Twin City Tire and Twin City Autobody handled this was shocking and very biased - by saying the rim was bent and trying to blame the other body damage. I called the place where I bought the new tires and they said if that wheel was bent they would not have been able to put a new tire on it. The kicker - I already asked the other body shops I was getting estimates from, before going back to Twin City Auto Body, if that side damage would have caused the alignment to be off and they all said no. Such a shiesty way to handle this.

Not sure about the Edina location... But the people at the Bloomington location have been nothing but wonderful to me in the 9 years I have been going there.My father has always recommended this place to me even though he works as an estimater for Key Collision and can usually get a labor discount through his own work.While they do not by any means have the cheapest oil changes/labor rates they always have provided my 92 Cadillac and I the best service anywhere down the Lyndale block(Holy crap theres a lot of Auto Service places down the 2 mile strip of lyndale)Best part is they dont try to shove all the extras down your throat. Do they ask? Yes but it takes a simple no and they dont push it. In my experiences the extra 5 dollars I spend on my oil change is completely worth it and has lead me to come here for all my car repairs as well.Before this location I was a Jiffy Lube customer and after all the BS they put me through with charges for work they never even did, It is nice to have a place you can trust to bring your vehicle.

This place was horrible. I had a distributer cap and rotor fail and they charged me 415 for the whole thing without labor. I went next door and they have the same one for 250. It was a 30% mark up. I know they need to make profit but dang! Thats way overkill! The guy who I spoke with didnt even care. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Just them doing a diagnostic is a flat fee of 109. Its horrible! 109 to use a meter for a minute and charge 109. Its pathetic!! They lure you in with the 10% AAA discount but it only saves me 16 bucks out of 610. Do not go here!!!!
