I had never been here but tried them because our normal placed was booked up. I liked the ease of making the appointment online and how nice the place was inside. Thats pretty much all that we liked. I took my 11yr old daughter with to get her nails done before school started. First when we walked in, we had to fill out a form which I asked questions about since we normally dont come here. It was hard to get answers as the receptionist was busy and didnt seem to know how to answer everything. I also didnt get a manicure like I normally get at my regular place because they charge everything seperate. As it was with just my powder dip and no Mani it was more then my other place with Mani. Then we finally got down for the pedicures. They started my daughters water first and 10min later finally came over and started mine. The pedicure was mediocre. They dont really scub your feet and they just rub the lotion on your legs, no message like other places. The paint job on my nails look nice. The girl who I had didnt really do well with the flower design tho. Also on the paper we filled out it asks what complimentary drink we wanted. No one ever have us a drink. Next we did the powder dip nails. Normally I get these done and have no chipping or cracking for 3 weeks from my regular place. Its been exactly 7 days and both thumbs and one finger have chipped and cracked. For the amount of money I paid I would have like to get at least 3 weeks. 7 days is sad and a waste. Plus you can see on the pics that my cuticles look cut. She didnt do a Mani but tore up 3 of my cuticles with the drill. After which when she put the liquid on my fingers to clean them or what ever it burned so bad. Needles to say we will not go back there again. Very disappointed.

One of my favorite places to get my nails done. I usually get the dip polish done here, and they do it so well. Only problem is that sometimes the lady would go a little too fast and would end up hurting me :( so just be careful of who you get or if they are going a little too fast. But otherwise, place has a very luxurious feel and is pretty clean :)

I stumbled upon this place & love them. Great pedicures and many color options. It’s very busy so I’ve learned to schedule an apt. Cassie is the best!!I usually get a dip. A little more expensive than other places but worth it.Tried the no chip though and it started chipping day 2. By 1 week I have 1 1/2 nails off. Which again they’re a little more pricey so I had expected a better quality (plus from prior dip experience with them)

So I come here pretty often, and typically the service is really good! But one of their receptionists (the young, little one) is just so incredibly rude! She can’t even crack a smile or have a good attitude towards the customers. Today I went to go get my nails done, but I completely forgot about my appointment and called them as soon as I left my house. She picked up the phone and I told her that I’d be running 10 to 15 minutes late, and she said that was fine. But when I got to the salon, my technician was visibly annoyed, and then told me that if I’m going to be late to call and let them know, so she can do something else while she’s waiting for me. Which is totally understandable! I then told my technician that I did call and I did tell the receptionist that I was going to be 10 to 15 minutes late, and my technician told me she said I’m going to be five minutes late. My technician is really good, and she might not be the most talkative but she’s typically really nice. Today I definitely felt like she was being really rude to me and it’s probably because the receptionist didn’t tell her that I will actually be 10 to 15 minutes late. And the reason why I called is well, obviously to let them know that I am late, but if they need to reschedule me that they can. Which would be totally fine! And while I was getting my nails done, the receptionist came up to my technician a few times , Didn’t even acknowledge me, and would be all social with her... OK I promise, I typically don’t write reviews like this! But I’ve been a loyal customer here for years and spend a good amount of money each time I come, and give a good tip!

I get a pedi every 2-3 months and this was the worst one I’ve ever had. The guy who did my pedi was in such a rush to leave or go have a smoke that he did my pedi in 37 minutes.He argued with me about everything from me not being happy with the color (looked darker in the bottle) to how far away I was in the chair, to how hot I wanted the water. So when I asked him to use the ‘grater’ a little more, he said to me lady I know and I do. Well he doesn’t know and he didn’t do. He didn’t even massage my legs or put any lotion on my feet.My heels are so rough right now that they’re sticking to my sheets. I am extremely disappointed and now have to go pay again to have someone fix his lousy work.Waste of money and 37 minutes of my life.

My sisters & I have been coming here since May. Brian the manager pairs us with the techs based on our needs. We have had different techs each time & each of them do a great job. We have no complaints. Always schedule an appointment because they are busy at all times.

This place feels so luxurious! Good service, friendly and polite workers, had several manicures from here and they did a great job. I recommend the no-chip polish!

Love the place & location is great, however, every time I come for a scheduled appointment I end up waiting 20-30 minutes. They also always charge come extra $5 fee without any reasoning. I asked once or twice and let it slide due to COVID but the fees just keep getting added on. Oh well. Plenty of other nail salons nearby.

Kelly, Dina, Gia and Kim are the ONLY ones I have had the experience of using…. KELLY IS AMAZING AT DIP AND DESIGN. Dina was amazing with the dip I have gotten from her. Kim is great with pedicures - very conversational (which I LOVE) and Gia gives a PHENOMENAL rub during her pedicures!!!!

If I could give a zero to HENRY I WOULD I went for my wedding set I showed him what I wanted nothing extremely complicated he said okay and I’ve been here before never had complaints however when I was getting my nails done he ends up telling me he wasn’t able to to the acrylic flower so I asked for rhinestones flat out ignored me how TF does the work he did resemble the picture I showed him if he wasn’t able to do it he could have told me and I would have taken my business somewhere else may I add he didn’t even push or cut my cuticles if you want a really beautiful set DO NOT COME HERE or ask for Henry btw I didn’t ask for him I was assigned to him

This was my first time and will be my last. I had a no chip manicure, two days later my nail broke which I had to pay extra to fix and then another cracked. Not even two weeks later my polish is peeling off!! I even tipped good seeing they looked great while leaving the salon, what a waste....

It was my first time visiting Rock Star nail & spa. Nice clean & very friendly staff. If your looking to have a “ ME DAY” I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere, waterfall is so soothing only thing missing would be a glass of wine or champagne 🥂

My experience with Tao was terrible. She was very rude and unprofessional.  Also, the receptionist was very unrespectful. I feel very uncomfortable during my visit.I will upload pictures to show how ugly and untidy was my nails.

Front desk girl was not pleasant, she did not greet me as I walked in and did not show me where I could start looking for a color. Kind of started my first visit there on a bad note, but soon I sat down with my tech and was happier. The no chip mani and classic pedicure were fast and easy, with good results. The prices are very standard. I think I will come here again.

I had such great experience at Rock Star Nails when I got my nails done (Full Set w/ design) yesterday. I was a walk in and it was my first visit with them. My nail tech KeKe listened and paid attention to details to what I wanted, and the outcome of my nails are amazing! Everyone at the salon are very friendly & helpful. I love the interior design and the cleanliness of their place of business. I will definitely come back again and recommend them to my friends, family and co-workers. I have been here many times. I get dip color on my nails. Today I came in for a dip and pedicure. I picked an Ombré dip. They had a sample so I figured they could do it. My pedicure was fine but when it came to my nails…..They were a mid nice length, in great shape naturally. I asked them to be reshaped from square to oval, she so aggressively filed my nails on the side, my fingers are so red and sore. She also used such a strong buffing file that my nails are very thin and were broken at the ends. She told me it was better to do an acrylic ombré instead of a dip. I asked if it would ruin my nails, she said no. So I said ok. She put the acrylic on in a color lighter than what I picked. My nails or so thick and fake looking. They were so nice and In great shape. She filed the inside to get rid of extra acrylic and all my real nail length was filed off!!!! Long story short, they charged me 100.00 and my nails are ruined. They will grow back I know but I went to keep them nice not to have them filed away. She knew I was disappointed. I paid, left a tip and left. I won’t be back.

Definitely worth the extra money! They do such an amazing job and the place is really clean. You do need to make an appt because they are always busy even with 10 employees working. They also give complementary drinks!

I love Tom. He does dips/nails very nice. Only issue is, they charge for every little thing. Certain colors are extra for example. My last session was dip with cuticle trim and color was extra which I said was fine until I got the bill. 65 for dip with cuticle trim and different color? Then add the tip- Too much.

They take walk ins which is good. I waited maybe 15 minutes. The customer service is great. EVERYONE was very nice. My nails however did not receive the best service. One of my nails actually broke a couple days later. Idk if it was because they arent used to doing stiletto nails... Its possible.

First time I called for an appointment and they were able to get me in with 30 minutes of my call. I chose a later time and I got a full mani w/ no chip/reg pedi all french tips in an hour TOPS. There a self service drink bar, plenty of flat screen TVs..I just went back today for a no chip polish change w/out an appointment. I was started on in less than 10 minutes and out in 20 mins. You cant beat that! So far I havent met a single rude person there and all their clients seem happy and stress free (I like to people watch and get a feel for the environment) 👍👍 Guve this place a try and see for yourself!

Acrylic set: wasnt told no chip was $20 more, and just to have a toe nail polish change is $12. The nails used for the acrylic are way too wide for my nail bed so I have huge fat nails rather than elegant normal nails. I tried to say something but, fell on deaf ears and then she talked to herself under her breath. Very disappointing. I still tipped her well because of covid but, I came home and had to file my nails to look sort of normal.I really dont like but, have to leave on vacation so there is no way to find a place to fix them.I cant find a nail place that actually can do my nails in an elegant way, none of them listen to what I ask them to do. And it csn be done, there used to be girl who did them perfect at another salon but, after covic shut down I cant find her. Stinks I paid $60 to have to fix my ownnIls when I got home.

I visited this shop for the first time today. I assumed since they charged so much my nails will look excellent for Christmas, I was wrong. I got the basic acrylic full set coffin shape. The lady was not friendly. She did not speak before she started doing my nail and overall the customer service was less than satisfactory. When she put the acrylic on she did not buff it smooth or lay the acrylic with deformity to my nails. Not great overall and will never go back. To top is off they charges me extra to do my nail coffin shape. I never heard of anything like this. I ended up bring out of $40 for a notch job. My advice is to find out who goes there than maybe ask who do their nails. Do not walk in, you will get the girl that’s in charge of cleaning but horrible with nails.

This is a very beautiful, clean nail salon. I am always happy with their no chip manicure. I also enjoy the music they play. The music is played at the right volume to keep the environment relaxing and spa-like. The owners and nail technicians are very friendly and welcoming.

I went there for a no chip service and a pedicure they were very bad with polishing my toe nails.Plus I dont like having them remove my no Chip while I am doing a pedicure all my clothes got dusty and the guy used a machine to remove the no chip which made my nails real thin. Plus the workers were talking to each other the whole time In there language which I felt like this is why she wasnt focusing on doing my toes well.I will never return to this place.

Quite expensive. I got French tips, and they were very thick and uneven. The white tip of the French tip nails was over half my nail, so it looked very unusual. For $65, you would expect a more chic look.

Left the bottom review on my first visit here. However I need to do an edit. I have been coming here religiously since about July/august. However I went yesterday for a no chip and couldn’t see Dina due to her timings not fitting my schedule for the day, I elected to see Kim. When I got there Kim didn’t want to do my nails as she thought I had on acrylics but I just have my natural nails long with no chip. They did ask if I wanted to see her or someone else but I felt bad I had booked Kim already so said I wanted to see her. As soon as she started my nails she really seemed to not know how to remove the no chip well and seemed like she was going to accidentally cut me so I was nervous, I did ask the front to change me to someone else. They then gave me sue, no hard feelings I understood I couldn’t possibly know Kim wasn’t exactly experienced in no chip. My issue however now is they seemed to give me to someone else who didn’t do a good job on my nails. She got me when I was soaking off the no chip and asked if it was ok if she used the dremel I assumed to file down the no chip a bit more as Dina usually does, I said yes and she went in and drilled off the entire no chip on my natural nail with what seemed to be a file meant for acrylic and not natural nails!! I was a little taken a back but assumed she knew what she was doing when she finished she then asked if I had on dip or an acrylic layer to which I said no it was just no chip she went and finished the manicure but at the end I was just frustrated and wanted to leave. My nails were uneven some were more round than others even when I had brought it up to her... when I asked for coffin shape and some of my nails hurt like my nail bed hurt. I went home and reshaped my nails to be more flat on top and not as wavy on the sides. Now. What I noticed this morning is 2-3 nails on each hand are extremely thin way too flexible than what they should be and are about to break because the nail is breaking under the no chip. I’m super frustrated right now and I can’t believe that because I couldn’t see my regular nail tech someone else could easily mess up my nails for me. It took me a really long time to get my nails to the length they were and they were super healthy and strong the ladies I had yesterday even kept saying how lovely my nails were to only ruin them. I have an important event tonight as well and I’m just scared that by the morning my nails are going to be broken due to them being filed down so much with an ACRYLIC file. I’m in disbelief right now. It is now 5 days after I got my nails done and yes so far 5 nails have broken including one of the ones that were fixed from when I went back Sunday to get two of nails fixed since one broke the night before and another was obviously going to break. Honestly this is the WORST no chip I’ve gotten and my once healthy strong nails have been ruined. EXTREMELY UPSET.First time here on August 9th. So I went in for a no chip mani and regular pedi. The place is absolutely beautiful and definitely brings a sense of relaxation. I really like how they offer drinks while you get your service done, it really elevates the experience with something so simple; and I love how they are reasonably priced. Although the beginning was very rocky (with the wait being extremely long even with an appointment having been made, and my pedicure tub slightly overflowing cuz they forgot to come back and turn the water off, and then still having to wait long for someone to start my pedicure); the service was really good. I saw Dina and she was very fast and still completed my services within the 90 minute slot I had and I walked out maybe only about 5 minutes after I was supposed to have left. Regardless of her working fast, she did an awesome job on my cuticles which is amazing because that’s really why I went in, and the polish job was just as good! Everything looked great and to date my no chip still hasn’t chipped, has grown out really well, and my toes look just as fresh as when I walked out.

I love love this place! Best place in Bloomingdale to get pampered! Everyone who works there, especially Kim, are soooo attentive and friendly! Whats even amazing about this place besides the staff & atmosphere is that they offer beverages from their own soda machine, coffee, slushy & water! ❤❤❤

Soooooo Ive been here twice. First time a month ago and second was a week ago. I love how my nails turn out but not sure about the no chip. First time the clear no chip coat started peeling not even a week after getting my nail done and this time my no chip started chipping after 3 days. $60 dollars for some nails that chip 3 days later. Im not happy about that part but the overall experience is great.

1st time client. My dip powder with tips broke off on day 2, I ended up with 5 nails on day 7. I went to take the remaining off on day 7 and got a no chip. The manager gave me 15% off the no chip. They started to chip on day 2. I do not recommend this place.

I have become a regular at this salon and LOVE it. Everyone is nice and make sure you feel comfortable. Its always busy, but somehow youre able to relax thanks to this staff! They always do whatever design I ask and my toes last forever!

Theyre nice but pricey they are the only nail shop in town that I know of that does ombre nails. I wish that when I get a favorite person doing my nails there, they would stay. It seems like theyre there for a month or so then they leave. But theyre nice.

I got a pedicure and no-chip manicure done by Huie. He was AWESOME and my nails and toes look so great. I do wish my blue polish would have been closer to a dark navy but, honestly, the nails are shaped so well and the surfaces are all smooth. Im impressed with this place!! Ill sit with either Huie or Tammy. Both are great!

The interior of this salon is beautiful. They have lots of drinks but do not offer it to you unless you are a regular customer. I had gotten no chip polish and within two days one of my nails pealed off completely. The other 4 fingers pealed off within 5 days. This is worse no chip polish I have ever gotten. It seems like this is happening to lots of their customers based on the their reviews. I would not go back to this place.

They REUSE the PARAFFIN WAX! After taking it off your feet they put the bags aside in the backroom then at the end of the day they break it down and put it back in the Wax Pot! The bottom of the pot is filthy because of it!

I stopped in on the Friday before Easter to get a no chip manicure with acrylic as well as a pedicure. Needless to say, 7 days later my no chip has 4 broken nails. The day of, I had to ask to have my toes repainted by another technician because it looked like a 5 year old painted them (the tech that did my nails and pedicure was very nice, but was very concerned about every other patron in the salon, if she would have paid more attention to what she was doing, Im sure this would have been a better review). This salon is beautifully decorated by it is a revolving door and the nail techs need to take more pride in their work. I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and this was by far my worst experience. I am extremely disappointed because I am looking for a new nail salon since mine has recently closed. For the price this salon charges, I would expect a way better finished product. Unfortunately they lost my business.

Always loved the service and care but the last 2 visits for myself, daughter and niece have been anything but pleasant.Rushed through appointments and very impersonal. Daughter ended up with an infected toe. Niece dip polish peeled off and when she came back within the week was charged to fix it!!!!Not very happy and unsure if we will return. Always super busy and I feel like customer satisfaction is suffering.

I just left the establishment as we speak and i had to post in the car because of how disappointing this place was. I honestly wanted to cry as i keep looking at my nails. I came in with a picture and they didn’t do a good job. They were so quick to leave to closing time. I wanted a cheetah print and it didnt even come close to what i wanted.

Horrible customer service! A snotty lady picked up the phone when I called about my bad pedicure, when I got home I noticed nail polish in the side of my toes and 2 of my nails not painted all the way, she told me that she couldnt do anything for me because I had left, that I should of said something when I was there if I wasnt happy. But since I left she couldnt do anything for me, I asked to speak to manager or owner she said I havent seen him. I asked to speak to someone else she said she was the only one there and she just kept repeating her self she gave me the name of Elizabeth but she probably lie about that too.I just wanted my pedi fixed and I would of gone my way, But now never returning there and I will make sure I tell my friends and family. NOT TO GO THERE. If you noticed any mistakes after you leave your pretty much screwed.

The salon is beautiful, I am talking incredible interior design. The staff is professional yet, I can tell the techs have fun at work and seem to enjoy their job. I recently started coming here (2 fills and no chip) when my last nail tech wasnt taking her time and my nails went from perfect to bubble looking. I stopped in to Rockstar on a whim and they were very accommodating.The prices are slightly higher than where I was (roughly $5 which adds up every other week), but the shape and service make it worth it. They offer all the newest techniques as well as waxing. I have my own salon business and have my hands in water often. I keep my nails extra long, coffin (like what you see on pinterest), and they have held up for over 2 weeks no breaks. The only thing I truly miss about my old nail salon is that after an acrylic fill and no chip polish I would receive a quick hand massage. I would give 5 stars with a hand massage...

I wasn’t going to say anything because it was an ok service. Regardless of the lady talking to another worker during my entire no chip manicure. The other worker literally pulled up a chair and talked to the lady working on me in another language. But I was going to be nice and not say anything until, two days ago (had a no chip mani and regular pedi) one of my no chip nails completely came off, and today yet 3 more! The nail polish just completely fell off! I have never had this happen before. My no chip always last at least 2.5-3weeks. This has been barely a week. I will never go back to this place again :(
