Lakeview is what every memory care community should strive to be. From the very first moment I walked in the building, I could tell this community is different in all the right ways. Penny, the receptionist, is always welcoming and able to help anyone who comes in the door, and she and the other staff truly make everyone feel like family. The care, social life, sense of community, and attention to detail at Lakeview are always exceptional. Even under COVID, Lakeview still somehow manages to provide so much love, care, and support. Staff are not strangers here and Denise (Community Relations), Sharon (Director of Nursing) and Olivia (Administrator) somehow always make themselves available no matter how busy they are. Anyone with a loved one at Lakeview can rest easy knowing theyre getting the best care around.

I was looking for a place for my family member and looked at several places in the area. After the tour, I knew it was the place for my cousin. Its warm and inviting and every person I come in to contact with is very caring. My cousin is truly enjoying his stay there and is extremely well cared for. The staff is responsive to his needs at all times and Im so glad he is there. I recommend Lakeview Memory very highly.

After interviewing many Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities, I decided to move my mom to Lakeview Memory Care mainly because I felt an instant connection with Denise Holt the Director of Sales and also because they had preventions in place for people who are a high fall risk. I didnt know it yet but I really lucked out! So did my mom.I didnt think my mom would be around much longer because she wasnt eating much and is in her mid nineties. Within two months of moving in, her weight went from 88 pounds back to 115! For the first time ever, shes participating in activities and loves bingo! I dont dare interrupt her at Bingo! Who is this person? She even loves the music and the entertainment!The staff is so loving and caring. They are like family to my mom.Penny the Business Manager has helped me tremendously, especially in the beginning with my many questions, as well as Maria the Director of Nursing, Joey whom my mom treats like her grandson and Olivia Chavez the Director of Lakeview Memory Care. She is so understanding! Olivia sends out regular updates on the community so we always know whats going on. With the Covid quarantine its a tremendous help. I never got updates elsewhere. Also there is a monthly Zoom call to discuss dementia behaviors.The kindness, patience, and helpfulness of everyone for the residents and families is amazing. Since my mom moved in I dont have to worry! Its a huge weight off my shoulders. I cant recommend them enough!

Absolutely lovely community and the team that works here is very sweet and caring. I have personally met Denise and Olivia and they are both delightful.

We chose Lakeview because it was our parents’ wish to live together in a companion suite. Lakeview was highly recommended by Harbor Light Hospice. Denise Holt guided us during a very difficult COVID transition with all the necessary info, along with her emotional support.Our parents are safe and thriving at Lakeview due to the efforts of the entire team of Lakeview staff. The medical team is observant for changes in health and behavior and always accessible. Marie, Jennifer and Sandra are quick to return our phone calls if we have concerns or questions. In addition to the outstanding medical care, Lakeview’s goal is to provide excellent quality of life for their residents. Joey and the team of caregivers, the coordinators of the daily social activities, the people who provide the dining services have built relationships with our parents.The communication between Lakeview and the families of residents is outstanding. Olivia writes a letter to families that we receive regularly, sharing updates or announcing new programs and opportunities for families to engage with our parents. Her commitment to adhere to strict health department guidelines has kept the residents and staff Covid-free.Diane, Penny and the team of people at reception are very accommodating and help us find resources for questions we may have.Our family highly recommends Lakeview. We are grateful that our parents reside in a Community that truly cares about them.

Denise was able to react very quickly & get my father moved from variable quality home care to Lakeview. I have been a volunteer board member of a low-income independent living facility, seen different assisted & memory care facillities, and have family run businesses as clients & this model is great & their pride & training shows ! The staff are all very nice ! It is single floor memory-care only, great layout & it has been a huge relief to my mother to find care so close to her house.

My dad has been a resident at Lakeview since August 2017. It was a very difficult/easy decision for myself and family. Dad could no longer be cared for at home, but making a decision to leave his home was not an easy task. I knew this was the right place for dads new home. I believe he is much happier here. He has made some good friends with other residents and staff. He enjoys singing during activities and movies enjoyed with popcorn and root beer. The staff are compassionate, understanding and work closely with each of the residents. My dad is good and I know he is safe and loved! Thank you all for all you do each day! :)

After having my father in multiple previous facilities, we have finally found a place to call home. Lakeview Memory Care is an outstanding care community with a superb staff! When you enter the building it feels like you are stepping back in time, in a good way, as the interior design is right out of a magazine from the 50s. My father felt at home right away and truly enjoyed all of the memorabilia. The floor layouts are more like being in a single family home rather than a facility. There are no elevators, and the halls smell of fresh baked bread coming from the kitchen. The staff has immediately embraced my father as if he was a part of their family and take wonderful care of him each and every day. At his previous locations, he was basically in his room and placed in front of a television and usually made to feel like a bother. Lakeview Memory Care is the polar opposite. They keep him actively engaged throughout the day with breakfast clubs and afternoon activities as well as evening events. The only tv watching he does now is when the Cubs are playing as he loves his baseball! There also is soft throwback music that plays throughout the building which everyone seems to enjoy. We spend a lot of time visiting in the beautiful courtyard with its rocking chairs, antique car and water feature. I would like to mention this fantastic staff by name in this review, however Im not sure if that is appropriate, but the fact that I know them all and they know me is so comforting. I feel that I am always informed on the happenings with my father and I honestly could not say enough nice things about Lakeview!

Lakeview is a beautiful facility with an incredibly supportive staff that truly cares about the residents they serve. My parents medical condition is exceptionally challenging, yet each day the nurses, CNAs, food service, and facilities operations provide attention and care with grace and professionalism. They have spent many hours helping me and my family members better understand what is happening medically, socially and emotionally with my parent. Theyve answered an endless amount of questions and continue to respond positively even when the situation becomes very difficult. I highly recommend this facility. They love what they do and it shows.

My mom has been living here since May, 2018. After looking at many memory care facilities, nothing compared to Lakeview! Not only is it beautiful inside and outside, the staff is the most caring, compassionate group I’ve ever met. They treat my mom as if she was the only resident. What amazes me is that I can speak to any person on staff and they all can update me on how she’s is doing. This is because they work so well in conjunction with each other. If I have a request, I find that the staff already took care of it before I even asked! Plus, my mom is free to roam the facility 24 hours a day (she likes walking the halls at night) and someone is always there to walk with her and keep her company. I enjoy spending time there myself, participating in the daily activities, meeting other residents and their families, or just enjoying the outdoors with my mom. A big thank you to Lakeview and also to the Koelsch family for understanding those living with dementia and designing the perfect facility for them!

Lakeview Memory Care is such a wonderful place for those suffering from dementia. It is often difficult for residents and their family members to cope with this confusing disease, but the great caregivers, nurses and all other staff find a way to make the transition and new life style very pleasant for all involved! I would recommend Lakeview 110% to anyone searching for a caring and safe home for their loved one suffering from memory loss!

My Wife and I Lou Casolari cannot praise the care and compassion that the staff administer to the residents and day patients at Lakeview. My wifes Mother and my Mother in law was treated royally while residing there.I Lou Casolari am also a Volunteer at Lakeview.
