They were very professional and patient with me, answering all of my questions. I know very little about cars , and unlike other mechanics I have been to in the past, they were kind and explained everything in detail. They were able to diagnose the issue with my car promptly and were very fairly priced.

Went to Jims again for some more super service.Got an alignment done within one day, plus a printout report of what the bad alignment was like.For $120, its worth it.Yes, it may be considerably more than the common franchise mechanics, but they do it right.I feel more at ease and comfortable dropping off my car at Jims than I ever would at a shop with a revolving door of clients.

When I was new to the area about a year ago, a family friend recommended I take my car to Jims Super Service. Im so glad! A++. My car is 10 years old but low mileage and in good condition... so I like to take good care of it :). Ive taken it here for everything from as simple as an oil change to new rear shocks to new tires. The mechanics at Jims are great! Always explain in detail what the issue is... I find them to be very trustworthy. I would definitely recommend and will continue to take my car here!

Its hit or miss here. Theyre fine for basic repairs but they misdiagnosed two things so I had to get those problems repaired elsewhere and essentially paid for the work twice because the other shop had to disassemble the stuff that this shop installed.Their labor rate is good compared to some of the other shops but whats the point of saving a few bucks if you have to go get the work done again?Victor is alright but the owner has a serious attitude problem and he always tries to sell you a service that you dont need. He told me I needed a timing belt and the dealer said the belt was fine.

My family has three vehicles. All are serviced only by Jim’s Super Service. Done when promised. Done right the first time. Prices fair. Car is clean when I pick it up. No hassles.

Last week, I pulled off the Garden State Parkway when my cars engine started choking and limped into the closest auto body shop I could find. I was desperate because I had five more hours driving between me and my new residence, and I was between jobs so my funds were limited. I wouldve readily paid hundreds more to get back on the road, but they charged me practically nothing for the fix (a blown fuse). They also slotted me in on a Sunday when they were already packed with many other cars.I cant say enough good things about these folks. They couldve easily taken advantage of me in my distress and ignorance, but they were compassionate and honest. The people of Bloomfield, New Jersey are very fortunate to have a local shop like this!

These guys are the best. I have had some really bad experiences with mechanics over the years and started to lease my cars to avoid them. After going to Jims Super Service, I might just purchase my next car. They do top-notch work and are 100% honest. A rare find for sure.
