Disgusting Place: Piles of dead fish all over, many of them already decomposed. Avoid this place at any cost. Absolutely horrific.

One of my favorite PetSmart locations. The staff are always friendly and upbeat and if you need assistance they are always quick. I also loved how the person in the fish section said that you cannot keep any fish in a bowl or tiny tank. My little brother is 8 and has only seen bowls and such which are extremely cruel for fish (yes, even Betta fish - need a MINIMUM of 3 gallons). So naturally he asked if he could have a goldfish in a fish bowl to which the associate politely said no and explained it to him. So happy that there is actually people there that care about the well being of ALL the animals, fish included.

Wish they would have better crickets, either they are ALL OUT or They are DEAD before you can feed your pet

Brought both of our dogs to get their nails trimmed and grinded today, like we do every other month. Lisa, must be their manager states that our one dog who gets prescribed anxiety meds by his vet for nail trims cannot get his nails done since this med is not an every day med. Hes older and gets anxious, as why he takes the med for this occasion. Makes a lot of sense... Now I have to take a special visit to the vet because they wouldnt take him. Never been a problem before today. Will not be going back here.

Was in the Blaine MN location today. I needed a harness for my Amercan Bully and a longer leash. Ended up getting the little guy a new toy too. Found both the things I was looking for right away. The store was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. By the way Charles loves his dragon!

I just moved to Blaine and my pet needed to be groomed. We booked an appt with Tracy! She did such an amazing job! My dog looks amazing 🥺 I love it!!! Will definitely book with her again 🐶💕

I went in to buy a bag of cat food and didnt have enough so after coming back from the car the cashier told me that I had $8 credit from probably 5 years ago when I shop there. And they didnt run out like everywhere else so I will probably be shopping there more often now .

Tracy did a really good job on Rocky! She even made him smell like a sugar cookie with some doggie perfume.

Going to start a few years back...brought my puppy in for his first cut (not Blaine location) they had a large viewing window so we were watching. Groomer was cutting by his face he nipped at her, she grabbed his beard and shook his head and proceeded to yell at him while shaking him...he is a puppy getting his first cut a little more patience was expected...took him off the table and did not go back until today...thought I would try it again, new store, new groomers... Did the reservation online and answered all the questions for check in online also. Today I show up at 8am for his appointment and because he has a heart murmur they will not groom him. HERE IS MY QUESTION: WHY DID YOU NOT CALL. I drive all the way there, wait 10 minutes to be checked in and told they cant because of his murmur. Seriously. I do understand that there is a risk, but you could not CALL. What a waste of time and I will NEVER go back.

Its a toss up on helpfulness at times but when you get the help, they are fantastic! I think today was shipment day, idk.

My dog is bald! They took all her fur off! She has razor burns. The employees were rude, snippy and impatient. And they were yanking my dog aggressively when she was crying, never going back! And paid $84, wow expensive and horrible!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND taking your pet to this PetSmart grooming location. I have never had issues at other locations. I took my pet in for a bath and haircut and immediately regret it when I found out my dog has two bad cuts and two nails were cut way too short. My dog is extremely sweet and very easy to work with. Therefore, there is no excuse for the carelessness. When I called for some sort of ointment/antiseptic I was told by two other groomers on the phone that his groomer Tracey noted that he had prior scabs that got caught in the blade. My dog DID NOT have any scabs prior to drop off. It is evident that he was cut! I understand that accidents happens but TWICE?! What really upset me was how unprofessional it is that the groomer LIED about him having “scabs underneath the matting.” Note pictures that these are areas that experienced groomers will normally take caution when grooming pets. Please just take accountability and be truthful to your clients. Talked to management and she was nice but it does not make the unprofessionalism okay. Take your dog elsewhere because it is never a good feeling when your dog was hurt in the process.

Animals not well taken care of... emaciated snakes with stuck shed and dehydration. Manager didnt seem to care. Went in for dog toys, but after I had that experience, I wont support a company that doesnt care about the animals they sell. If that snake gets sold to anyone who is inexperienced with snakes, it will most likely die, it was in such poor condition.

Was looking for a specific item for my dogs inflamed and painful ears pleasant and knowledgeable staff who directed me and informed me of what I should get very clean store organized in stocked and I was pleased with the different variety of products that they carry for different animal needs

Good variety but sometimes hard to find someone to answer a question.

Prices are always much higher in store then any online retailer but otherwise a good experience to grab what I needed without waiting.

Wish they had a bigger selection of small dog beds, but we did get a bunch of food for a great price!! 50% off items with a nearing exp date is the best! (Especially bc one box we got said April 2021, but when we opened it, all items inside actually had a Sept 2021 expiration - score!

Do not recommend taking your dog to get groomed here at petsmart, specifically with Mel. Besides the rushed and poor attitudes of the workers, they do not take into consideration what you ask for. My puppy had knots on his chest and instead of shaving it off, she spent an hour tugging at it without consulting me about it and charged me an extra 30$. Along with an extremely uneven, carelessly cut face trim.

Almost everything I picked out was cheaper on their website. Nice deal on any dog treats, buy 3 get the 4th free mix and match.

We went shopping for our new cat. Weve never had a cat before and we were hoping to have a little more help and input from staff. We couldnt find anyone on the floor, so we tried to ask the cashier questions. She was able to call someone up to answer, who was helpful and gave us a book of coupons. It was a decent experience in the end, but we were hoping to have someone help us earlier.

We have two cats that we have adopted from them recently and any information you ask them about the cats history they are willing to find out or have the information on hand and are very polite I would suggest if you are looking to adopt to go through them

If you have a Dog or any other pet.Im sure you will like this place they have whatever you need yesterday I stopped by to the pet hotel to make new appointment for my dog to stay for the weekend I was really happy with the service I dont think that every PetSmart has a pet hotel you can bring your pet own food and medicine I love the idea of going some ware and know that my pet is in good hands..

Brought my 4yr old dog to get groomed at Blaine PetSmart. She’s gone here before and been groomed before with no problems. I was called to pick her up because she bit the groomer and now she’s acting aggressively to us at home. She’s had no history of aggressive behavior before this. She is also now banned from the groomer, but who would want to take her back with this experience?

Horrible service. One of the worker there didnt seem to know anything about the pets or even looked liked he wanted to work. Went in for a hamster and when asked if we had a cage for our future hamster he was very judgemental when I replied that I had a big plastic bin for it. Im a pervious hamster owner and I dont support small cages or those toy cages for hamster cause they need a lot of room for small critters. Then asked if he had a black and white hamster and said they didnt have one even tho there was one. He didnt know anything at all. Simply clueless

Petsmart is always a treat! I had to go there cause my cat got extremely ill after eating Blue dry cat food. I gave him a different type than normal and the reaction was not good.He is still not well though, warm nose hiding, not drinking. So Im a little suspect about the food in general at this point.But petsmart is always clean, fully stocked, and every one is helpful!*Food came from Walmart by the way

It was normal. Walked in to grab food for my cat, it was close to closing time so not many employees around for help :( Looking for something holistic that would be along the nutrition line of a diabetic type food, think ill need to do own work in that area. Some prices are competive.

They have a very large variety of animals stuff. I go there mainly for my Fancy Parakeet (male). His name is coconut. They have great play toys for birds. They like to pick apart toys so they have a large variety for that. They also sell good Kaytee brand special treats (High calcium grit, molting and conditioning, and dried fruits and veggies) these are for mixing in with food and not feeding them only that. The dried fruits and veggies go in a separate dish. Overall I was satisfied with their wide selctions.

One worker was pleasant and nice, but I felt like I was being treated suspiciously by two other workers at this store because I was looking for new products for my cats and just wanted to be left to linger and look at products at my own pace. I spent almost $300 at this store and didnt appreciate being checked on repeatedly. I may choose to go to a store farther away in the future.

Good PetSmart store. it is a newer one so it is cleaner but they do keep it in good condition. They have a good selection on freshwater fish and turtles and actually had a fish light holder that was half the price of PetcoThe staff are very friendly and attentive and I think this is a great store overall. Im not sure on their fish knowledge however so be aware of that because Ive noticed that big big store (PetSmart in general) are the WORST at fish knowledge

I received a $3 coupon for my cats birthday (which I thought was a very nice gesture). I found some treats that were on sale and used the coupon, only having to pay a few cents more. The cat loved what I brought her. Convenient location for me also.

Had not been in a PetSmart for long time because Petco is closer and they have the food my cat prefers. But they were out of the water fountain filters I wanted so I ran down the street to the PetSmart in Blaine. They did not have the filters either but I found the store to be very clean and in great condition. It was well merchandised. I think I need to give them more opportunities for my business.
